Man that tirned out great... I am wanting to do my entire foxbody mustang in satin black with gloss black trim and accent pieces. Thank you for the video
I love that wire trick for the moldings. But all I can think about watching is having to buff those cars with that exhaust fan blasting them with over spray lol
You'll be surprised how much the furnace filters caught....but I wouldn't do it if they were newer cars. Lol The trick is to keep them filthy so the overspray sticks to the dirt!
@@refinedautodesigns so i dont tack coat it let it flash and then spray alittle mire heavy let it tack and then the final coat i never worked with satin black or matte black
Thanks. Yeah my car was done and got busy with other house stuff. I'm old and have other responsibilities lol. Hopefully more coming soon or at least an update
I sprayed it at 30-35psi. Wanted it as atomized as possible. Sprayed like a thin clear. Must be super even with a lot of overlap to prevent uneven gloss stripes. Hope it helps
@refinedautodesigns I used a rattle can on a motorcycle. It's a satin black that looks a lot like Harkey-Davidson's Black Denim. It still looks good almost 10 years later.

Coming together! The satin black looks perfect
Assembly starting....light at the end of the tunnel!

@@refinedautodesigns my dad painted his Alfa in the garage back in 1972 (I was 4), and we still find boxes and tools with green overspray.
I’m all in for this type of content you’re doing an amazing work never stop uploading!
The satin fits the look very well
Thanks Randy
Did you use any sort of clear coat or is it not required for this paint?
No clear. It's a 1 stage urethane
this helped alot...thanks. two door tahoe project. top gloss bottom satin.
Is this product available in online platforms? So that I could buy them. ❤️👍🏽 By the way great job brother do more.
I order from UreChem Paint direct from their site. Should come up first on Google. Don't remember the website
Nice work
Love it! Can you please comment the exact link to this product?

Just wondering did any of that over spray get on the two cars outside the garage
No. They had a protective layer of dirt
At least you tried something no body tried it before.
You'll see satin car but wrapping not proper paint.
I like it.
Well done mate.
This doesnt need a finsihing coat? Does it do well against uv?
They call it a 2k urethane single stage topcoat. No clear over it. It's not base coat. Has uv protection like clear coat. Hope it helps
Nice job ! cant what to paint my mazda b2200 truck satin black
Thanks! Good luck with it. My advice is super even coats. Wetness effects gloss. Stripes suck
@@refinedautodesigns what kind of gun and tip should i use ??
@@gilmarrero5966 depends on how you spray. Everyone has their own way. I used a devilbiss prolite with a 1.3

@@gilmarrero5966 I would do 1 medium wet coat. Let flash. Then 1 full wet coat. This will give you the required mil thickness.
This was great. So why did you stop loading content?

Nice & wich paint gun do you use?
Devilbiss GTI pro 1.3mm tip
Thx😎
What was the psi range to paint the satin black.

@@refinedautodesigns cool thanks nice job by the way
Did you clear coat it or is it just paint.?
No clear. It's a one step satin urethane. Has UV protection
Don't you need laquer on satin black?
No. It's urethane single stage paint with flattening agents.
Can this paint be waxed once it is cured ?
I ceramic sprayed it. Looks the same. Water beads like crazy.
Ever try John Deere Blitz Black?
Nope. Is that single stage enamel? Must be durable

what is the hexcode for the satin black
Better question for the manufacturer...
Could you paint an entire car like this?
Yeah. It's like a hotrod black. Uv resistant urethane.
If that isn't peel off and it feels like that , I have changed my mind
Still on and looks the same. Did I trigger a vinyl wrap guy 😂
Your American flag is backwards bro,the stars go always on the left...turn it around.
Someone mentioned that in another video. Been corrected. Haven't posted videos since unfortunately
All that over spray onto the white cars 🤦🏻♂️🤡🤡🤡
I didn't have any over spray on the cars, but wouldn't recommend having them that close. Thanks for commenting
