Hey Ashley! The funny thing is that I am in a BIG and weird reading slump(I am not motivated to read books IDK why) ...when I say A BIG reading slump I MEAN it. I seriously can't remember the last time I read a book this year maybe at the end of July...So I am crossing my fingers to read in October because the year is about to end and I have a goal to read 50 books this year and think I have read about 39 or 40 books so far...Hopefully seeing you trying to pace up with reading is gonna make me start reading too!
Good luck!! I’ve been in a weird slump since the middle of the year when it comes to picking up new things, so hopefully we can read some good ones this month! :)

@@adashofash Yeah! I found it weird how we had two povs from the same story and then one that didn‘t affect the other povs at all? Nina‘s story was so random in there (even though I love her!)
I really loved Aurora Rising/Burning for the same reasons I loved Six of Crows: a found family going on a heist or quest. That's my favorite clash of tropes

Aurora Burning is so so very underrated, I mean common Anyone who likes Keefe or Percy is definitely gonna LOVE finnian!!!! And fans of Rowan and rhys are gonna love the guy who's name is from K? Maybe I just forgot. And like the captain's sis is kinda like thalia!!!!! 😆 This is basically the pjo and hoo crew in sci-fi!!!!!!

the only book i read in september was the seven husbands of evelyn hugo and i absolutely adored it! i also just finished the hating game by Sally Thorne which i highly recommend

I don't know if you'll read my comment but if you're in a sci-fi mood your should pick up Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao! It's so good (I am literally on the last two chapters and I am afraid to continue). Just read the synopsis for this, I cannot recommend this book enough!!!
