The Scythe series all 5 stars for me, and Addie LaRue my favorite of this year, also a 5 star
Every Last Word, A Monster Calls, The Son of Neptune, The Night Circus, Hollowpox , Kingdom of Ash and Skyward were some of my favorites of the year
The scythe trilogy was also in my top ten this year! (currenly halfway through The Toll). I think my #1 book this year might have to be The House In The Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune!! Such a warm and heartfelt story. I also loved Cemetery Boys and Felix Ever After!
Oooo I’m looking forward to read the house in the cerulean sea this year! I’ve heard SO many good things!
Scythe series - SO good. My coworker and I buddy-read all 3 back to back and were constantly jabbering to each other at work about the plot twists and all the "oh my gosh!" moments. And picked out scythe names for each other and picked the color of our cloaks. And we are both grown adults. Like in our 50s. People who turn up their nose at YA are stupid.
Beartown is one of my favorite books of all time, and I’m so happy to see someone else who loves it too!!! Definitely checking out the video where you read it!!! 😊🥰
I finished Legendborn 2 days ago and it is now one of my highlights this year too 😇😍
the invisible life of addie la rue was my number 1 this year! absolutely incredible
I just got a copy of it and I’m so excited!
Mine too! Omg I’ve never read a book better!
The top 5 books I read this year are Mistborn, The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo, An ember in the ashes, Red White and Royal blue and Daisy Jones and the six ❤️ These were my absolute favourites.
I ended up giving 5 stars to many other books as well like Her Royal Highness, The Unhoneymooners, Scythe, Clap when you land etc.
This year I read Scythe and was the best book of 2020 for me, I neeeeed to read the rest of the trilogy now (and see your videos talking about them too). Happy new year!
I am with you on Scythe!!! So amazing & so applicable. I also read the series this year & it's definitely a favorite! 👌
I read Scythe in a weekend. I havent read books for uirte a whiole but this book took me right back into the whole world. I just love it!
Love your pics....my TBR for 2021 is gotten huge thanks to you 😊
DOGGGOOOOOO
the house in the cerulean sea is my most favourite book of 2020
I keep hearing such amazing things about Legendborn; I really need to pick up my ARC of it soon!
Also, I've mentioned this before but please read the House in the Cerulean Sea! I'm sure you'd love it!
I actually got the book for Christmas and am REALLY excited to get to it this year! 🥰
I read the scythe series and that was so good. But my number 1 favorite book this year has to go to “ we were liars” by Lockhart. My heart is in pieces!
I finished Scythe because of your videos!
Most surprising read this year was Dangerous Remedy by Kat Dunn, a low fantasy similar to Sixth of Crows set during the French Revolution!
I really need to get to Legendborn! I have heard so many great things about it!
I looooove the scythe trilogy!!! But I haven't read the third part yet 🥺🙈❤️ but I'm hyyyyped
Omgggg the third one is everything! So good!!
I cannot wait to read Beartown, Nevermoor, The Invisible Life of Addie Larue and Scythe 😍
Heyyyy, first like and view! I hope you had a great Christmas and week. Thanks for making such great videos🥰
Legendborn is my #1 this year, so good!
Great video!! 📖😊 happy reading to u!!
Yes RW&RB is on my list too! 🤗
I think black sun was my fave of the year, such an intriguing world
I think you'll enjoy Us Against You by Fredrik Backman which is the second book in the Beartown series. Also Backman is pronounced as Baakman.
Ahh thanks for correcting me! I’ll be sure to say it right next time! 🥰
I read scythe and thunderhead this year and I'm just about done with the toll and with the way thunderhead tore my heart out at the end im scared to finish the toll. Ill update this when I finish it 🙃
I feel this so much it’s bringing back flashbacks omg
The Toll was mine last year. This year my #1 is the last book in the An Ember In The Ashes series, which is, A Sky Beyond the Storm. Very close but just didn't quite make it, was The House in the Cerulean Sea by T J Klune. That one definitely was a surprise for me. Great top 10.
Love all your videos! Where did you buy that green sweater from? It's so cute 😍
Thank you!! 🥰 it’s from Free People!
Favorite books?
The girl who played with fire
A good girl's guide to murder
Noteworthy
The beautiful ones
The city we became
... It's a variety of genres. But worth it.
Really want to read legendborn ❤️😊
Please recommend some light hearted (not dark or grim) fantasy novels which are full of adventure, friendship and great characters💖
For anything truly lighthearted without any grim/dark themes you'd likely be looking mostly at middlegrade. I really love the Keepers of the Lost Cities series. But for some recommendations that have some dark themes but are really fun and full of adventure are;
-Legendborn by Tracy Deonn (Holy Guacamole this was good)
-The Other Side of the Sky by Amie Kaufman
-The Ember in the Ashes series by Sabaa Tahir (O.M.G)
-A Song of Wraiths and Ruin (can't wait for more of this world and these great characters)
What is your booktok? You’ve mentioned it a couple times but I can’t find the username
Haha I don’t have one!
@@adashofash oh okie lmao 😅
Legendborn is my #1, it just killed me.
I really loved beartown it and the sequel made my best of 2020 list. I had read Fredrik backmans other works but beartown was better. Also I made a top list of 2020 (11 books) but I couldn't order them 🙈
Addie LaRue is definitely in my top ten!
Legendborn is an amazing book 💖💖💖
My number 1 of this year was the Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb, it was amazing !
❤️❤️❤️
Ignite Me from Shatter Me 🧡💛💚💙
Tower of Nero book review???
i wonder what's your reading speed?
Depends on the book! If I’m liking it I can usually fly through it FAST (sometimes a few hours but more like a day or two at most)
Maavrick in the background!!!!!
