In the house on quarantine and when off restrictions. Agree about paying bills, but we have to find peace and still reward ourself after handling family and bills.
Home is more than ever our safe haven. Dj gear is perfect for passing time at home. Imo

It’s a cool controller, however I like the SX3 better. I actually never liked CDJs. I went from turntables to controllers. Plus I like being able to control the Serato efx on the board which the SRT doesn’t do. My stimulus check went into my savings account. I was going to spend it on help paying for new subs but I’m saving up for a new home.
Those are the reasons I passed on this. I wanted the SRT so bad but when I found out that the Serato FXs neededca separate box to access them I passed on it. Went with an SX3
Damelos could you elaborate a little more on a separate box? I thought the 1000srt just had fx like on a 900 mixer
@@icyvato I remember seeing you needed a separate controller to handle the Serato effects unless you wanted to use your mouse on your PC. Think you'll find that if you Google it.
I currently have the SX2 and 3. Don’t use my 3 just yet because I want to use my 2 to the full money potential.
I do see that the SRT doesn’t have the FX strips about the jog wheel but I only used maybe 2 outta the 3? Just the Echo and Phaser. Do you use yours?
Other than that what are the pluses and how do you like your SX3? I’m going to pull mine out and start using it more for sure.
Just picked up the ddj-1000 for Recordbox. Wanted the additional functions found only on the original controller. Switched from Serato Pro. Actually, I enjoyed switching my software. Gave me the time to clean up and reorganize my music. Recordbox 6 is no joke. Very powerful software and I think will be the dominant software in a couple of years.

That’s dope dude, congrats! I’ve been using another DJ software for years, but couldn’t resist last year’s Serato holiday sale. Picked up Serato DJ Pro at half price, and I really like it. Using my down time to learn it, but it’s been kind of a steep learning curve for me. Totally understand you not going the Rekordbox DJ route. Looking forward to your review :) 🤙🏼

Its funny watching your videos and seeing the change from not using hand trucks to now finally switching to a controller things as a Mobil DJ we have been doing for years but i understand coming from a club to mobil dj two completely different worlds its actually cool to see you stumbling into what we have learned the hard way for many years and helping the NEW guys avoid all the mistakes we have made but then again these new guys have it so easy they will never know the struggle of lugging 12 crates of records with 2 1200's and a mixer and amp rack etc to DJ someones wedding and having to actually buy records LOL Keep it up man love watching you take the time to show people what we have been going through for Decades LOL

Try out: Sound Color FX -> PITCH button
Play the same song on both sides, loop one of them to an instrumental part and mix in first vocals by CUE point (while pitching up or down the vocals)-by moving around the Color knob.

I upgraded from a Dennon MC4000 to DDJ1000SRT, got a good deal at DJ Expo 2019, got my PRO-X case at VIP Professional Audio. Enjoy this Controller, it is an amazing piece of gear. Nice choice! I chose the Pioneer DDJ-400 to run with Virtual DJ 2020. I still run through a mixer for final e.q. and mics and a secondary laptop in case my primary crashes. I play at a lot of bars here in town but I still do mobile work as well so anything that is lighter in weight and/or easier to carry is definitely a plus for me. Love your videos, keep em coming! Yo! I just got a Pioneer DJM 750MK2 in the mail today which I upgraded from my 250MK2! Right in time for my first live set DJ stream on Saturday. Are you gonna use turntables or CDJs to use them with DVS on your SRT?

Damn this is a Throw Back haven't been to Canal Hifi since we switched to powered speakers LOL we used to get all our gear back in the day from there LOL from amps to Cerwin Vega L36 Subs and their Parts department was official you can pick up anything from a handle to carpet to cables etc... wow what a Throw Back LOL

Nice ! I’m a mobile DJ only doing club gigs here and there but even so, I might have to bring in my own controller at some venues.
I use the DDJSX2 and 3. I haven’t really touched my 3 (I was waiting for my 2 to run it’s course) but it just won’t poop out lol.
I’ve had the opportunity to use CDJs and S9 set up and have to say that this is very spot on for what you would see in a booth for sure. So after seeing your video and the SRT in it’s glory I’m gonna have to cop, thanks for the upload 🤙

That's a nice controller. I currently rock out wit the Numark NS7III which is around the same price. The selling point 4 me is the 7inch motorized jog wheels. FYI, me and my wife paid a friend's rent 4 the month, just paying it 4ward. Thx 4 all the great content, keep it coming

I did buy the SRT-1000.
Had it for about a week or so, things about it I didn't like, too many to mention.
So I purchase the DDJSZ2 Controller.
Love it.
Bro it is sooo worth the money. idjnow actually sold me a new one with the serato package for $1039!
The SRT is a nice controller but the Rekordbox version in my opinion is way better. for example, the rekordbox version has pad fx and they are all post fader. also, the screen on the jog wheels show more info. On the Serato version, you won't be able to access Serato fx.
You can midi map on the srt to regain features like serato fx button

Nice video... im an starting to dj and looking to do small venues in the future... i dont do jersey club but mostly Reggaeton and dembow. Would i struggle doing a set in like a frat house or small venue without jersey club, especially living in the elizabeth area

You pretty much nailed it. I love turntables, separate mixer... however if you are a MOBILE DJ it gets old very quick lugging those heavy things around and connecting all the wires etc - Best to have a home set up and a mobile set up (if you can afford it).
Bout to get a new laptop for all my DJ/production needs..just purchased the Denon MC7000 awhile back---very happy with that! But u can't go wrong with Pioneers homie 🎧

I have the original ddj 1000 thinking it was going to eventually have a serato firmware but didn't happened.. but it all good cuz I also have ddjsz and djm s9 with reloop-rp-8000
I got mine like 2 weeks before the rumors started popping up about a serato version, and then serato announced it. I was sooo pissed, but rekordbox is a good program so i wasn't that pissed.

And... What do you think? I also purchased a 1000 SRT. I have 12's and a SZ2 and some old 800s CDJs. I also dislike the power cord. I also dislike the no full kill on the eq. For travel it is cool and it was easy to remap. I guess for 1200 bucks its ok.

have you heard about the brand new pioneer ddj xz that came out in 2019 sometiem it has iec conecction for power you cna sued 2 channels stand alone you cna sued all four channnels with rekordbox djor serato dj and it has feature that cuts out alot of feed back noise
