i recently bought numark party mix.... but my mac os is only 10.6.8 and the requirements for vdj8 is 10.7, my question is can i use my party mix using vdj7? because i can't upgrade my os anymore.. hope you can answer thanks

Not bad at all. My DJ buddy used this every time we'd DJ together. It really works surprisingly well in a nightclub! Gonna get one of these for home and house party use till the clubs are open again.
What if you got numark second hand can you re register or I need info from prior owner
I’m not sure to be honest, As long you are subscribed to virtual DJ, this is just another control that you can connect.
I have a question. If I didn't have RCA key to bind RCA cable, will it still make sound with computer?
Or we necessary have to buy a RCA key

I hear this only comes with about a month free trial and then you have to pay a fee to continue to use the program. How much is the fee and is it just a one-time fee or something you have to pay monthly?
lucasinmich that’s right but you can still use the basic layout, I forgot the price but it is a one time fee and somewhere around $300 or I think there is a monthly subscription
I see that it has a right and left rca jack plug in on back of control.What I assume is, that is audio out.What I need to know and confirm is, does controller have a built in sound card.Another words, I do not want to use my computer for audio out to computer speakers.I want to have the controllers audio hooked up via rca jack to my aux in on 7 ch mixer I have at which goes to my amp and house speakers..Will this Numark allow that? Lastly, there is a headphone jack on controller correct?
Joesph Baumgardner so the RCA jack is for Audio output... the way it works, the usb plug connects to the computer in order to turn the device on and from there you use the RCA jack to connect to any external device that supports RCA...
AKA Engineer I fig as much, but wanted to confirm.Now I'll just have to decide on this controller or mixtrack 3 pro which has dual pitch slide etc.One thing I do not like in some of these is I see there is no dedicated vol gain for each ch.Anyhow, thanks.I have Virtual Dj 8.2.Never really used it much nor with control.Always keyboard which sucks.I just hope if I get a controller that there is no more hidden tape.Meaning Vir Dj wanting more money to unlock.Which concerns me because when I select this controller to unlock it say under it $49.

That’s a good question, i don’t know if you can. I just bought another controller Pioneer DJ using Serato as the software.

Go to ebay and buy a $6.00 virtual dj 8 program download. It comes with it's own register setup.
