Hi DJ Barr, Im from Belgium and I got a controller already but the thing is that it uses virtual dj and my license is gone and now I have to pay for using it and it costs a lot. Im stuck now cause I can’t Dj for longer then 10 minutes because my software just stops. It’s very hard for me to learn how to dj if my software isn’t working as it should. Great video. I'm building up my set. Doing it backwards I just bought 2 elx200 10 and 2 elx 200 12sp. I havent got a controller yet. Still looking at what to start out with. But the elx speakers sound great and they are super portable. I got them this week. I have learned a lot about what gear to go with from you. Thanks for these videos. So far I got to test the speakers out. Bought a mic. I had a behringer x802 laying around and I got a yamaha 10x mixer. I'm such a gear head and have enjoyed piecing this set together. I have never had any DJ experience other than bring records to some vinyl nights that everyone plays what they brought. Just live music basically. So all this info has been amazing with the pandemic going on. It has been a lot of fun. Cant wait to get it all finished up and attempt a house party or something.

I also had issue with my SRX815 speakers. I had them not at an event but at home listening to it at low volume and a pop sound started coming out. I called JBL it was under warranty. Had to take them to a repair of there choice and had to order a module as it was the problem. 🤷🏻♂️ asking myself why this happens on such good speakers.

Don't need the controller but I just want to say.. that people always criticize because it's easy to see things when you're not in the fire.. but I'm so damm sure that If it happens to them they will freak out completely.. People can't get that we are humans and those are machine that could fail at any moment... keep up the good work and don't let those people discourage you....

if you use a s9 in the flight case you can use the cdj wit the broken usb and run timecode on the cdj. Im a club dj and we dont use hid mode for serato too many issues too many usbs and the cue buttons on the cdjs suck comapred to the s9 pads lol
