21:17 you guys got this wrong. The kids thought mchounahey was just driving away with his own people(they didn't realise he was kidnapped by the Russians) and they attempted to assassinate him. He ducked for cover which allowed him to live and the Russians to die. The kids wanted to take care of the problem that they created for the coach.

Ritchie's King Arthur was actually a good movie. I enjoyed it. Not sure what their problem was with it.

I personally loved the King Arthur guy ritchie movie. He also did A Man From U.N.C.L.E. which I thought was amazing with Henry cavill as one of the leads.
Both those films were seriously underrated. He also did Sherlock Holmes.

Guy Ritchie did the classic "Snatch," RDJ & Jude Law's "Sherlock Holmes" movies, also Henry Cavill's "The Man from UNCLE." All are great movies & yes with a lot of styles too, especially The Man from UNCLE, totally underrated movie.

The reason I love this movie so much is just because how confident every character is that they're outsmarting everybody else
That’s kind of a Guy Ritchie staple though. That’s why his characters are so cool and memorable.

This movie was nuts.
I love it.
The boys were actually going against the coach’s orders in order to get him out of the debt, they call him saying they’re gonna take care of it and hang up without letting the coach tell them na were not in debt anymore...so boys were actually trying to kill Mathew character but ended up saving him unintentionally

Mentioning his name so much in the credits was a tongue and cheek joke from the movie. If you paid attention there was a lot Guy Ritchie branded items with a play on his name throughout the movie

I remember both Snatch and LS&2SB quite fondly though it's been a decade. And I don't remember any action. It's all the crazy characters, crazy interactions, and crazy situations.

Not really, Aladdin is just a live action remake of a much better movie (the original animated movie), whereas King Arthur while not entirely original is a fresh take on King Arthur that's visually interesting and still a lot more original than the Aladdin live action remake will ever be.

@Rohan Andrew I liked the movie, but it would have been better without the CGI, though I thought the big snake scene was badass. I watch it often though, because the dialogue is great. The dialogue reminds me of old school Guy Ritchie. A lot of good actors in it too. Not sure why so many people shit on it.

As for the gentlemen....its a very good film but its a pretty weak guy ritchie movie. Its REALLY simple and A LOT hollywood style compared to his other movies. Its almost as if really tried to make it as clear as possible after king arthur.
It actually kinda disappointed me because its a super low effort watch.
The cast and dialogue was great but it lacked the british talent and cleverness.
So glad Charlie works with guy ritchie cuz he was great in king arthur

I would really recommend RocknRolla, very good Guy Ritchie movie with a lot of talent (Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Gerard Butler, Mark Strong, Thandie Newton)
Well if you compare the gentleman to snatch it’s possibly „only“ a 8-9 but if you compare it to any recent Hollywood movie it is easily a 12 😂🤦♂️

A film was stopped showing in the UK as of teens in Birmingham caused allot of fighting and they was brining knives to the fight, the theatre had to get the police involved

How has AngryJoe not seen any Guy Ritchie films⁈ Like, I can't even comprehend. I saw my first Guy Ritchie film, Snatch, when I was like 12 years old. I saw RocknRolla in theaters in 2008. I got copies of Revolver & Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels on DVD, from Blockbuster, in 2005.
Man, has no one really scene his movie "a real rocknrolla" that movies the shit and also my favorite guy ritchie movie.
You compare this movie to Snatch, and you compare Snatch to Lock, stock & two smoking barrels. Guy Ritchies 3 greatest movies.

The bois tried to kill Mickey. But because they were incompetent, they ended up saving him.
Solid film. I think Lock, Stock and Snatch are tighter and both of them have better soundtracks but I still found this one to be enjoyable. Guy Ritchie's talent was originally in British-made crime thrillers with his own brand of humor and violence so it's awesome to see him go back to his roots.

We should make a list of movies or director's for AJ to watch and enrich his palette. Can't be at the top if you haven't watched the pros. Plus Ritchie knows what madonna's crotch smells like and survived and that deserves respect.

SPOILER CORRECTION: The boys phoned coach to say that "the problem will be dealt with" as in - they decided they were going to kill Mickey because they didn't know Coach had just negotiated with Charlie's character. The boys didn't know that the driver was Russian, they didn't know anything about the Russians. There was no 4th favour from the boys as they attempted to murder Mickey but ended up accidentally saving him. However the Coach did save Charlie's character, giving him a 4th favour.
Fun Fact: Hugh Grant hates acting. Just like Leo DiCaprio does.
Cause they both go HARD into it. Damn method actors. I would hate it too.
Joe needs to see Snatch IMMEDIATELY. It's also got Oasis' most underrated song, Fuckin' In The Bushes in the soundtrack. The whole thing was a MOMENT.

I wasn’t sure going into it... it came out on New Years Day over here but I finally went and I actually enjoyed it and I am probably not the demographic it goes for.

Joe, as a Brit (and Guy Ritchie epitomes our culture and humour) PLEASE watch his classic films, Snatch and Lock Stock... They are much better than this film and if you enjoyed The Gentlemen you will love his earlier stuff. Keep that cockney vibe alive!!
