As an American, his accent makes my brain struggle. He doesn't sound American, but he doesn't sound English. It's almost like some kind of Australian slang accent. It can't figure out where it wants to be. But I guess that just goes to show how much he jumps into his characters. They become him.

Sons of Anarchy is at it's core a Shakespearean Tragedy. So realistic and so brutal that you can't tear your eyes off it. It is one of those series that transformed television today.
I'm not sure 'realistic' is a word I'd use to describe it. Actual 1%er lives are nowhere near as exciting, and there's far more real swearing (not the kind of thing Fox would've broadcast) and casual drug use, particularly stimulants.

I met Charlie in LA a few times in the past 10 years of working/living in LA, and he is honestly one of the kindest actors I’ve ever met! To be that incredibly talented as well as a dope human is extremely rare in LA!

Unfortunately, critics were expecting a serious retelling of the Arthurian legend (as if we needed another one of those lol). So they trashed it before it released in cinemas and no one went to watch it. I thought it was a brilliant film. Dialogue a bit scratchy at times but the cinematography and soundtrack were incredible. It wasn't a faithful retelling of the story but honestly, who cares, it was very enjoyable for what it was. They were planning on building a whole Arthurian universe with Merlin being introduced and loads of sequels and spin offs and dtuff
That film single-handedly restored my faith in on-screen adaptations of Arthurian Legend after that faith had been BUTCHERED by how Once Upon A Time handled the legend of King Arthur. I was SO PISSED to hear that the planned sequels to it weren't going to continue!

You could see right here how much loves his Jax Teller character, and would do it in a heartbeat if asked to do it again. SOA is just as good as Breaking Bad, believe me. It’s just even more hardcore, so that’s why it didn’t reach Breaking Bad’s popularity. The show was ahead of it’s time, but now it would fit right in as a Netflix original series.

It's so weird, I fell in love with Jude Law and Nicole Kidman as a teenager watching Cold Mountain. And then years later I found my favorite show in the world, Sons of Anarchy and became a huge fan of Charlie and everything he's done since, and I still had no clue that was him in Cold Mountain. I'm kinda shocked tbh, he embodied that character so much that I still see it and have to squint to realize it's Charlie.
Yes, Cold Mountain, he was the most unforgettable character of the film; evil incarnate with an almost angelic appearance. At least half of SOA had unwatchable storylines. Hunnam was the only good looking guy. Show would have been cancelled without him.
I loved King Arthur, I think it was unfairly judged when it first came out. I remember it getting such negative feedback, but I feel like most of those people didn’t even watch it. If nothing else it was a good time, fun and entertaining.
Protect this man at all costs. He just seems like an ordinary dude that’s great at acting but loves to stay outside of the Hollywood bubble and live as quiet of a life as possible

I binged SOA during the lockdown. I felt like I rushed thru it. So I just watched it again. Slowed down. Love the little things. Like the scene where Jax pulls up to the red light, 2 little ladies cross the street and he smiles and waves at them.

I have only seen Charlie in The Gentlemen and King Arthur (though I completely forgot about King Arthur) and he had such amazing presence. I hope to see him in more movies in the future.
Charlie Hunnam is a great actor who always puts himself into the role that he is playing with his whole heart and that is why his shows that he plays are tremendously workable and I think he's a great actor because of it.
I can respect Charlie because he acknowledges his type and sticks to it. Hence the sort of roles that he plays. This is what more actors need to keep in mind of.

Hunnam was just amazing at these films, the characters were really brought to life, it's crazy seeing the actors in the film then seeing them reflect on their characters that they'd played over the years. This was a great VF Documentary of C. Hunnam the actor. I hope they do more of these with C. Hunnam a decade or two. Gosh if I was him I'd be so upset that they didn't take the first take of the scene in SOA. LOL the process of acting as a character would be awesome too.

The fact that SOA 1st clip's first take wasn't recorded is so sad. I would have loved to see that performance. Such an amazing actor. Hope he gets many main character roles in the future, whatever he works on. Can't go wrong casting Charlie Hunnam.

I have only seen Charlie in The Gentlemen and King Arthur (though I completely forgot about King Arthur) and he had such amazing presence. I hope to see him in more movies in the future.

Charlie Hunnam is a great actor who always puts himself into the role that he is playing with his whole heart and that is why his shows that he plays are tremendously workable and I think he's a great actor because of it.
I absolutely love King Arthur especially Guy Ritchie’s directing; it is the only King Arthur movie I can watch. The Gentlemen is great too.
I can respect Charlie because he acknowledges his type and sticks to it. Hence the sort of roles that he plays. This is what more actors need to keep in mind of.

Jesus this is outstanding!! I dunno why but his small character role in Cold Mountain always stuck with me over the years. Creepy, but he nailed it. just like all of his roles.
Charlie Hunnam and Hugh Grant STOLE the show in The Gentleman. Guy Ritchie DEFINITELY needs to use both of them more often in his films
Charlie, my man! I absolutely love SOA and feel like people underestimate it. I still remember the empty feeling after the last episode of watching Jax ride towards that truck... heartbreaking.
The fact that that scene in SOA is the “not as good version” blows me away. I wish we could see the first take.
I just watched SOA for the first time last month binged the entire series. It definitely is underrated and there are 3 scenes throughout the series where Charlie's acting is some of the best I've seen in a show!

probably the best actor i've ever seen. he truly became jax in SOA and i haven't seen better acting since. he's highly underrated and SOA is my fav series of all time

Hunnam was just amazing at these films, the characters were really brought to life, it's crazy seeing the actors in the film then seeing them reflect on their characters that they'd played over the years. This was a great VF Documentary of C. Hunnam the actor. I hope they do more of these with C. Hunnam a decade or two. Gosh if I was him I'd be so upset that they didn't take the first take of the scene in SOA. LOL the process of acting as a character would be awesome too.
The Gentlemen...this movie spills so many morsels of wisdom for an up and coming Cineaste. Charlie's role was mind blowing. Had to look him up. Timeless character.
