AngryJoe, OtherJoe & Alex like lots of Glass, but slowly realize how disappointing it truly is in its 3rd act which screws it all up!

James McAvoy is an incredible actor.
No one can argue about that
@DumbLewi Dumb Do it
@DumbLewi Dumb So you are a bad actor when you're in bad movies. So no good actors exist. Good to know
@Bill Voss calm down Bill, you're scaring us.
Agree, Just watched Split and he really earned his money in that film!
"Samuel L. Jackson's getting older."
He's 70, so yeah.
Girn Blanston Oh yeah yeah.... wait !
That's shocking. He really comes across atleast 20 years younger.
@Nggr Fggt First name Mr. .....
BlackPantherN7 last name...
tbh unbreakable didn't have a lot of action either..don't go into this expecting an Marvel or DC esque superhero movie !
But the problem is,movie have action but is poor as fuck,go pro camera angles were terrible, and the dialogues are not good and repetetive, and not smart at all.
@@Dionizos666 that third act is pretty bad i agree..I don't mind the action because David Dunn isn't exactly an expert fighter..he is just a guy who is unbreakable and gets into fights..and it looked like it.
You just explained why so many people dislike it. Marvel has become the standard is such a big way, that when something originally comes a long, no one seem to recognise it. It's really unfortunate, because Glass deserves so much praise, most of all for just being original and sticking to its core ideals through all three movies. It's a bold trilogy.
@@ThisIsMyFullName I'm probably one of the few that actually loves Unbreakable. I think the story and writing is intriguing.
@@Dionizos666 The action is awkward because a fight between two exceptionally strong people with no combat training would mostly amount to a ton of awkward grappling and shoving.
The guard that drowned Bruce Willis in a puddle was like "This is for Die Hard 5!"
Thanks for making me laugh
I wanted so bad for him to get up and it plays his theme or the orange man theme!
omg thank you for making this bullshit scene hilarious for me. I can laugh again! heeheeheehee
Okay, that's funny, I'll give you that.
Upvote your comment, take this beer good sir!
Angry joe is always smiling. Should be happy joe.
Watch his review of power ranges (the game), Bomberman on switch, or No mans sky and you'll see the Angry Joe we all know and love ;-)
Should be, periodically angry but mostly happy Joe
such a disappointing movie....first two acts were amazing then a wet fart fizzle at the end
screw your opinion and screw this review angry joe this is the worst videos always glass i give a 8/10
@@genesisambrocio3554 how old are u man people have different opinions.
@@genesisambrocio3554 i agree , screw you and screw your opinion. Seriously? You bought the fact that they " subdued every superhero ever? To make public believe their bit while all the shit hits the proverbial fan?" BUUUUUULLLLLSSHIIIIT. I mean c'mon they BARELY subdued the Beast and as a wise jedi said...there's always a bigger fish.
@@genesisambrocio3554 nah you’re wrong, it’s crap
The ending of this movie is such a slap in the face to the ppl who loved Unbreakable. I'd rather think this movie never existed and go for the open ending of Unbreakable.
This movie is so crap I wish I could go back in time and warn myself
The woman convincing the heros that they have no powers, that it's all in their head, is an attempt to almost convince the audience the same. It's supposed to have the audience question the legitimacy of their powers, a recurring theme in this universe. I for one couldn't help but wonder if the lady was right.
Second, the movie's ending was necessary. I agree it was not what I wanted. I wanted a grand resolution, I wanted David and the rest to Duke it out or have some epic climax, but that's not what these movies are about. These movies are grounded in a sobering realism. The world may give you something special, but there's nothing saying it must stay.
I give this movie at least an 8 out of 10.
fleeplayTV
I completely agree, I laughed at the part where she tried to convince him that he was good at climbing because he watched rock climbers. Lol
too bad people dont want that. people wanted an infinity war showdown and lets be honest. that wasn't going to happen.
Yeah idk why ppl complain about it this arguement is seen in civil war with superhero running rampant except in this universe they get wiped out so that's theres peace like civil war and batman there will be a villan that comes out to fight the hero
It would be cool to make another movie, where she herself has powers, but tries to hide them from the world.
I agree with what it was trying to achieve just don't think it achieved it well I have it a 3.5
If this movie was a comic, it would not be a LIMITED EDITION!!!!
Unbreakable was never an action movie it was slow paced and well told. Bruce only had one fight scene in that movie so you can understand that it is not an action type movie
I love how hard he’s trying to get his “power of hugs” joke in lmao😂
Spoiler, I think maybe the movie is called Glass is because in the end he won
I would expect glass to do what he did. It is at least in character.
Liked it. Didn't see the ending coming.
It kind of seems like Shyamalan forgot that Elijah and Kevin are mass murderers. Elijah intentionally caused accidents that killed hundreds of people. The Beast ate a lot of people. But then the film treats the revelation of the super powers like it's a good thing. I get that Elijah's mother would want to fulfill his "legacy," but why would David's son and Casey want to create a world with more mass murderers like Elijah and the Horde/Beast?
IMO, the ending is a homage to Watchmen but they decided to tell the truth.
The watchmen ending was kinda interesting, save the world by never telling the truth to make sure the world remains a better place, or tell everyone and cause the extinction of humanity.
except it's established in this universe Kevin legitimately does have completely different personalities he cannot control who are all so real, morphing into one transforms his body. the beast and the other personalities who helped him gain power are the guilty ones. Kevin and the other good personalities are just prisoners trapped in that body.
@ still waiting and all got was a comic book crossover by DC and Watchmen.
Because the whole plan was jus to show that ppl like Kevin an David were out there
UPDATE: Chris Stuckmann didn't hate the movie. He's officially given it a B.
B for fuck
@@lightningbolt4419 Oh yeah yeah
It's a good movie I just absolutely hated what they did with one character's arc.
Hey Jeremy, did you watched this film yet? I'm planning to watch it this Saturday
These guys gave it a C+ to B- tho
In the first movie the hero won. In the second one the villain won. In the third they both lost but humanity won finally being able to fulfill it's potential for good or bad. It works for me it just needs time to sit with you.
I can help you both out here is a fan cut of glass it's easily a 10 out of 10 seriously this version is the best version for one no one dies in a puddle everything you didn't like about glass is fixed in this version
OTHER JOE DOESNT LIKE CHOCOLATE!? REEEEEEEEE
Chocolate ice cream is very different from chocolate anything else.
OJ, that's racist!!! ....I think
I dont either. Its too sweet for me and I get toothache.
@@ivvan497 HERESY!
Look at that svelt bod of course he don't eat no chocolate.
Edit: the videos that glass released weren't just dunn bending an iron bar, the beast flipping a car and glass dying. The whole building had tons of cameras inside and out. So Mr glass recorded all the fighting inside and dunn destroying a metal door to escape
Ok I loved the movie. The ending could have been better ,but was much more understandable then say swiping all evidence under the door.
SPOILERS I agree, at first I was not liking the ending when they all died, but then the last trick in the sleeve is revealed that Elijah still released the footage and I felt satisfied because the truth was revealed to the world. If they had just died and that was it, I would have been disappointed but thankfully the movie knew not to end like that.
John Smith
Haha yeah they did him dirty with him just struggling in a puddle 😂
Love the new setup with two cutaway shots and more interactions between you guys. Makes it a lot better to watch than previous film reviews. I think people didn't like the film reviews because it didn't live up to the angry game reviews.
_I don't like how they killed all of my friends._

4:56 is that the softest "You done fucked it up" in the show's history?
I remember I used to watch all of your videos when I first discovered this channel. Love your work and keep going!
When’s the Broly movie review coming out?
Broly movie was insane, there should have been a seizure warning before the film started. Man when the fighting started it just would not stop till your ass was sore from squeezing so tight the last half of the movie.
Crossing my fingers for a Broly Review.
It was a toss up for what to see yesterday between glass and broly, and broly definitely didn't disappoint. Hopefully we get a review! Would love to hear Joe's thoughts.
@@deltaruin It had great laughs too, I was laughing pretty hard at "good luck frieza!". The fusion part was a riot as well
He said he will review/watch it along with Glass.
Obviously he reviewed Glass first (some huge db as he claims lol) so Broly should be up soon/next.
Loved the movie from beginning to end, even the twist
Meh...
That's your issue fam
My opinion is that the beginning was good but the rest of the movie a mess, the ending being the worst part. I also thought the twist was really stupid.
@@jaydenpadilla8411 wow really? I was able to see only the end and I thought it was pretty interesting. And I originally had no motive to watch Glass
@@jaydenpadilla8411 totally agree
"Even if nobody sees this anymore cause it's ancient..." and me watching this 5 years later 😂
Unbreakable: david dunns origin
Split: kevin krumbs event/introduction
Glass: continuation of all 3 characters but Mr. Glass's origin on creating the superhero revolution in the world
I thought the movie was great. To me David's son wanted the world to know the truth about his father being a hero and the desire for himself to be special. I agree with others that Elijah's mom wanted him to fulfill his dream/legacy. Casey was just damaged good that found an alpha male that believed in her and saw the real her so she just wanted his protein shake.
So true especially last part lol
"Twas beauty that killed the beast" lmao 😂
They could have had a killer alternate ending where the Beast and Mr. Glass blow up that tower. It could have been EPIC!!!
Hey man, thanks for all your hard work. You guys have been pumping out videos like crazy and I have been loving it. Just wanted to say that I appreciate it.
Don't ever trust RT Critics scores. I learned my lesson a long time ago.
OJ is becoming a great reviewer.
The juice?

IngramSnake he is the ray of sunshine we all need in our lives
OJ would make a great reviewer of crimescene shows. I mean he killed his wife and a bystander, so hes done the research.
I'm just happy people aren't shitting on Alex as much
huh....now i know why kevin left that flower by the train station on "split" before he let out the beast mode
What I hated most was Bruces death scene, since when did he get 'weak' from water? He needs air like humans so he can drown or suffocate etc he doesn't get weak from water like Superman gets from kryptonite. He swims for a longer time in unbreakable and the kids save him and he continues up to the second floor to beat the guy in orange jumpsuit, with no signs of being weaker. This is the biggest plot hole in whole Glass movie.
Still love this movie.
Alex is awesome, the way he reviews movies is great. Glad you always have him.
I loved this movie it was awesome how shamalan connected these movies so beautifully
Awesome? If by awesome you mean absurd and far reached.
@@Vicous528 it's not that much to connect these movies, the reveal of David and the shared universe in Split was the most beautiful twist by Shyamalamadingdong next to The Sixth Sense. Though i don't think another movie(an ensemble) was needed, but oh well.
Are you high?
@LadyGaGa is hot My opinion is Shamalan is a washed up director, the reason split was good was it was an old script he wrote. This movie was awful.
@LadyGaGa is hot I don't have to be a chef to know when I meal tastes like shit, same goes for movies. Also why was it his best film period? What specific movies do you think stood out compared to his older ones.
Great review. I love watching you guys. I'm always entertained, and intrigued by everyone's review
movies like this makes me really give a shit about rotten tomatoe scores I enjoyed the hell out of it 9/10
I feel you bro.
Same here. I'm really surprised that so many reviewers can't see Shyamalan's vision. Standing in the shadow of Marvel, this is such a bold movie, and he pulls it off brilliantly! 9/10
Finally, some people that get it, its a 9 for me
I loved this movie but i didn't understand it at all
You realize that it’s not a 4/10, rather 40% of reviewers enjoyed the movie. I think that’s fair considering how many people have controversial opinions about it.
I love watching your reviews Joe! They always give me the urge to go out to the theatre.
Thanks for your reviews. I am also a big unbreakable fan. I came out of this movie a bit torn, undecided. I will need to see it again. I was heartbroken to see my boy david dunn die like that. Sad, but perhaps fitting to the universe, maybe explains why there are not more enhanceds running around.
I like to remind myself that hopefully david dunn had 19 years of saving folks, and hopefully made a difference. Would love to see some potential fan comics of those 19 overseer years maybe.
Joe i LOVE these angry reviews. this format is perfect for movie reviews.
The Movie was pretty good until the last 40 minutes. Instead of giving you the big fight scene at the end as
they built up the movie to be, they decide to kill off the 2 main actors to set you up for a sequel that most people
will never see because you killed the two Super Heroes. The ending was probably the worst ending I've ever
witnessed in a movie. So 80% great and 20 percent horrible.
McAvoy give him all for this movie. Amazing. 💪
Wow this is one of our best videos yet, Sadly the movie was a bit underwhelming but I think Split was a true masterpiece, the perfect blend of obscure and intriguing. You're not probably going to read this but I started watching your videos years ago and I'm a huge fan, I even started my own UA-cam channel with movie analysis and their ancient stories behind them. If i can be a hundredth of what this channel is I would be extremely proud of myself. Thanks for the inspiration and keep making more like this :)
Omg the other guy looks like a perfect mix of joe and other joe
The 3rd act was a trainwreck. Total mess. F the shamrocks, that twist was totally unearned and unnecessary.
You said it!
Our hero of 3 films just gets taken out by a puddle.... so stupid
@@dogsbreakfast4952 You don't find the fact that he had to die after almost completely losing faith in himself powerful?
I thought the twist makes sense and that the doctor's arguments are purposely hard to believe. SHE WAS PULLING IT ALL OUT OF HER ASS FROM THE START
For the record, I appreciate seeing someone make movies out of passion rather than strictly for a focus group. I enjoyed a lot about this movie, even with M Night's continued efforts to force in twists where they don't belong. I just felt that the secret society was among the lamest, most out-of-leftfield twists I've ever seen in any movie. It was like finding out at the end of Jurassic Park that all the dinosaurs were actually animatronic.
Water is his weakness. It wasnt a threat of drowning him. Super man doesnt need to swim in kryptonite for him to be weakened.
The twist isn't the secret society. Even though it makes the most sense in reality. The twist is glass is the hero.
I believe the expectations of this being a "super hero movie" skewed folks. Its shyamalan. What happened in unbreakable and split that made you think some drastic change was coming?
It's more like water reacts to him just like it reacts to us ; we can drown /he can drown . It's the part of him that's normal . They treated water like it was kryptonite, after the drum of water scene he was apparently to "weak" from not drowning lol & the beast was fine . Couldn't overpower a swat guy from drowning him ...probably just happy to exist the film
bc people are dumb af and though this was Glass: infinity war
Glorifying terrorism and mass murderer is sure as well a way to subvert expectations, but not in a good way, this ending deserves no “artistic” praise.
@@wasdwasdsemag It wasn't glorifying terrorism and mass murder, the film was trying to highlight the motivation behind villian's actions what led to become that person.
By that logic IW and BP glorify terrorism and genocide.
After watching Unbreakable and Split for the first time a couple weeks ago, I was really anticipating this movie... sad to say that it fell flat :(
Doesn’t matter if you are a month late, we love hearing your reviews!
Shocking spoiler..
OJ doesn’t like chocolate.

"Glass? Who gives a shit about glass? Who the fuck is this?!" - John McClane.
Bruce Willys can be himself all he want... That's more than enough to me, he is fucking badass!
I am assuming the critic scores are so low because of M Night's very vocal dislike of critics as a whole.
What's your favorite of the 3?
*K E V I N*
3:43 It's ok OJ, I think that chocolate ice cream is nasty, too. Good news: bartering! Trade up that crap for more strawberry n' vanilla!
21:21 The video wasn't for the normal people, it was to the people (Heroes/Villains) with SuperPowers.
"...We knows you are out there. We knows you exist. Accept your SuperPowers and show what you are capable of..."
I didnt enjoy the ending but the rest of the movie i did. How dare u kill david dunn like that
I love this "origin" movie, even though a sequel is unlikely, this is an origin movie to a super power society.....
The woman screaming in the end is just mmmmm love it.....
But I admit it's not as satisfying as I hoped it to be..
There were hints that Casey have the ability to control minds with her touch, or at least push a thought/convince people. That was the reason why the Sarah Paulson character (totally forgot the character name) let her meet Kevin
I kinda also wanna believe that Sarah Paulson character can also do that, but through the use of speech or logic talk (or something), cause she got David, most of Kevin's personalities to agree with her, and also David's son too. Which could be the reason why she's asking David whether he was convinced during the end, perhaps she ain't too confident of her gifts
This is how I envisioned the ending. David Drowns in a Puddle, he realizes that he even if he does fight off the guard, he'd be shot running away, or worse, his son could get shot protecting him. Realizing he's been fighting crime for 20 years and gravely missing his wife, he lets himself go. His son is an adult, he's saved countless people, and he won't have to be hunted down by the secret society if he were to survive. Later, after his death, his son gets a statue put up in honor of his father. 4 girls approach the statue, one wearing a cast on her arm and leg, "he saved my life." she stated. "Ya, my Dad was a Hero", states Joseph. The movie ends with them all staring at the statue. Done! Now all three characters had a good send off. Elijah had his vision met, Kevin finally took control of the light, and David is honored for his Heroism. My Canon Version!

Leighton Rocheleau undoubtedly. You’ll have no idea who the characters are if you don’t. Besides, Unbreakable is one of the greatest movies ever made, and Split is fantastic as well. Mcavoy’s performance in that movie is Oscar worthy.
Connor Wyant He said rewatch, not watch.
@@juliansalazar7097 yeh, somewhat odd question to ask since he already know/saw both movies anyways...
Shin Chan yeah really odd question indeed lmaooo... only he can answer that for himself.
Not gonna lie the twist that a secret cabal is trying to end people with super powers sounds cool
Chris actually gave it a B in his spoiler review. I actually kinda like the film too, the first half was great but that third act is laughably bad.
The Rotten Tomatoes average credit score is actually 5.1 out of 10. Do you guys keep forgetting how RT works?
This was filmed yesterday
@@Barrett1 Irrelevant. What I'm saying is that while the RT score is in the 30s, the critic average is a bit higher. Those 2 are not the same - they mean different things. And I highly doubt it went from 3s to a 5.1 overnight. This is something Joe has pointed out in past reviews, yet every review of a bad movie goes like "it's definitely not a 30%" as if they don't know what the RT score means. a 30% on the Tomatometer doesn't mean the film's a 3/10, it means that only 3 out of every 10 critics liked it on average.
Its a Shamalan Film, either you love it, or you hate it, but you'll always be intrigued.
The Beast can't shut his eyes because he's afraid (or probably thinks) that if he shut it, he would loose the light, then makes another personality can (accidentally) take light.
Even though its a late review your community still cares about your perspective
I really enjoyed the ending, i thought it was a super realistic way to end the trilogy. While i can understand disappointment i think its a great change of pace than normal superhero movies
@LadyGaGa is hot A lot of people hated the organization too but if you think about it you can kind of say these movies are about a realistic X-Men as the organization's goals are not that of SHIELD but The Sentinels and these characters were going to be killed or suppressed which is why she was ordering the employees to get the others patients away from the windows.
No, no, no no no no no no.. no, no...
The super realistic way to end this would have been Mr. Glass revealing the truth to the world and the masses killing them in a mob frenzy.
This secret society nonsense along with the whole 'killing Dunn in a puddle while his son just watches' and 'the secret society being dumb enough not to kill the near and dear ones of the supers' is just Shyamalan being messy as usual.
i was just like "hmmmm.... i wonder what joe and friends have to say about Glass..."
and then i saw this upload ^^
respect the grind joe.
ps its freaky to see alex as the positive one.
Everybody just says "why doesn't he shuts his eyes, so that the light won't make him change alter ?" . Even if he closes his eyes to get through the light, he still needs the electromagnetic key to get through the door. How will he get it if he has the eyes closed ??
Unbreakeable also had a broken glass poster tho. Glass flushed out David and they are setup as opposites. Glass is just setup as a mastermind to bring out both villain an heroes , people with extraordinary abilities , and he is using means like violence and philosophy to bring to light they exist.
Man first time I’m the first set of comments! Joe you are literally my go to for all entertainment in gaming and now movies. Thanks!

@Alexander TT well he is doing this to make money. Can't make money off some random indie game no one's playing.
Pain I think it’s time to get over that dude.
The movie was great right up until the ending it totally ruined it for me . And just the hype of these characters meeting up was very underwhelming
You couldn't have said it better.
LadyGaGa is hot, super beings are grounded in reality? Secret anti-super hero societies are grounded in reality? C'mon. Dunn didn't need to go out like that. Period. Shamalyan lost over half of his audience with that ending twist. Being edgy did NOT pay off.
@@317Chris exactly they went out so pathetic loved unbreakable was completely amazed by split but this ending was truly awful nothing grounded about it
The "masterplan " of uploading superpowers online to "prove" superheroes exist . ...yeah 15 yrs do that everyday literally dozens of "real" powers on UA-cam alone
You do realize how much the government keeps from us. There could be aliens and a bunch of shit we don’t know about. If anything a “secret society” is more realistic than we can likely imagine
Other Joe doesnt like chocolate ice cream? He really is that "Other" Joe
The intro hits me right in the nostalgia gland
I want Alex to review my life, he'd probably give it a 4/10 the plot to my life has been pretty generic so he'd say it's slightly below average.
Wtf wouldnt this secret group bring glass in given his original goal of exposing superheros to begin with.
His goal diametrically opposes their goal of keeping superheroes nonexistent. And they could never outsmart him into using him.
Joe I think your reviews and the set up you do for movies is great, I wasn't sure at fist but it's spot on.
If you think about it Bruce Willis' character never showered and never taken a bath, imagine how he smells like, you can add that to his super powers.

2:58, that's...that's not how the Rotten Tomatoes score works, Joe.
The reason Unbreakable was awesome in its day is that no-one knew it was a superhero movie. It was before the superhero fad, and no-one was expecting the guy who did The Sixth Sense to come out with a comic-book film. So the reveal really works. Nowadays, people going to watch Unbreakable already know what it is, which lessens the impact a lot. In fact, if you see the film a second time, knowing what it is about, it is still an interesting film but it's nowhere near as good as it seemed. Glass has a similar problem, in that it is hard to have any suspense or mystery because we all know it's a superhero film. The big problem is that Unbreakable does not need a huge Marvelesque movie budget, but Glass really does.
It's a deconstruction of superhero origins story and it grounds them into reality.
And fails... miserably.
Secret society feels out of place.
Like unbreakable but vastly worse and almost incoherent in its tone
@LadyGaGa is hot no people were expecting a somewhat full filling conclusion to the end of a franchise almost 20 years in the making. But for that I will also go to marvel. Thank you.
@LadyGaGa is hot Grounded in reality until the ridiculous secret society is introduced and the main villain's (who is a mass murderer btw) plan come to fruition and the remaining main characters are actually HAPPY.
I liked this movie, but the biggest missed opportunity was in the pink room, the psychologist could have allowed all three of them to have an interesting conversation between all three of the main characters, there would have been many interesting conversations that could have occured between them, but the writing didn't allow it.
Unbreakable is one of my favorite movies of all time and i love split alot as well and i found Glass very satisfying at the end because with each of these movies they are about each of the characters Unbreakable is davids, split is kevins and glass is about glass's end goal
has anyone seen... Gavín? Gaav?
Hector Castellanos Nah, have you looked in Rhodes?
Duvnupsmug The First im so worried
Is it possible to find him on RD2??
Oh yeah yeah recruits are coming
Oh yeah yeah were are here
I think the reason why Kevin's personalities wouldn't just shut their eyes is because 1) you can't keep the eyes closed forever and accomplish much and 2) the light flashing was random and controlled by manually as well as automatically (as stated in the movie) but also 3) because his alternate personalities maybe were not as intelligent as the audience thinks.
I'm sure all prisoners have glass picture frames in their rooms. It's not as if they're dangerous.
