Hi Paul. Sorry for being cheeky here as it’s on a separate topic, but do you know if the guys who make the Stormin Norman Cones have gone out of business?
I can’t find their website on Google anymore and all the links to their website I’ve found just produce an error message.

@@thetalonsofwaynechiang Norman has sadly passed away. The only other options I’ve seen similar are the caldera cone or speedster stoves.

My Hiace came with two sliding doors with windows in them that you can open. And it is 4WD. Can't get them anymore here. They stopped selling them around 2012, I believe. The only thing they didn't come with, as far as I know, was a high roof. Other than that, it has everything I need. At one point in time I went camping in it with three dogs in cages. They are not making vans like that now. They should...Your van is looking good with the new windows. A wise move to have them professionally fitted. You don't want them to fall out :-)

Being in the building trade we always say "it's every person to there trade" sure people can try it themselves but he certainly knew his job and executed it perfectly. Top job. So excited for this van build.

Each to his own Paul, you made a good choice in getting a pro in to fit the glass. A lovely job, which makes the van look a million dollars!
Think you made the right choice getting professional to do the windows , he made it look easy but I’m sure it isn’t as easy and one small mistake either cutting or bonding window into place could spell disaster and expensive to fix . White camper van man is getting closer to it’s first trip , now all you need to do is practice your aggressive driving and swearing 😂👍
I love watching pros doing stuff like this. Mesmerised just watching how straight the glue lines are; mine would like someone chucked spaghetti at it.
Getting the windows done professionally was a good move - as they look like they came with the van.👍

You know what I like about this vid? You get to see the meticulous nature of Brit craftsmanship. Every detail has already been thought about beforehand and finalized before work begins. The whole Brit heritage of doing things "properly". Also, I'm so excited for your new venture into vehicular camping.

Wish I'd got someone to do mine first time round... I learnt the hard way when my side window fell and smashed into a million pieces just after I'd stuck it in place🤣 I held it in position for about 5 mis then went to the back of the van to get some tape and ply wood to prop.under it it, then SMASHHHHH!!!
had to drive back to the place and buy another one and got them to do the back one for me aswell while I was there 🤣
what a brilliant vid, see how pros do it and decide if want to diy or not but no amateur mistakes that are in other vids with most things
