@flavOG Thank you 🙂 About the touristy parts of Portugal, when we first arrived, we stayed(until this day) in Cascais and appreciated all the "touristy" spots, cafés, and restaurants. But after a while, it became a bit much. For a vacation, it is fine, but for the long term - no 😄 All the best to you 🫡🇵🇹

@josephrego2527 What I want to highlight from what you said is cleanliness. It's the cleanest city I've been to in Portugal. And Viseu has a certain magic to it. Even though I tried to show it in the video as best I could(thank you for compliments🫡), one must be present there to truly feel it. It's a wonderful city🇵🇹

@josephrego2527 Thank you, and yes, Coimbra is a real gem and should be ranked higher than it is now. Again, the people are very friendly, and there is beauty everywhere💯 If we talk about my DNA, for quite some time I have wanted to take one of those heritage tests to find out what percentage and from where I am😁 Well, I know where my grandfathers and grandmothers are from, but I have been curious. Maybe there is hope that I am at least 1% Portuguese😄😄😄

Well, I left Costa since my 25 years old, and in the old days I could recommend many, now everything is so different...:) I can suggest you guys the restaurant " A Trasnmontana" on the "Av. 25 de Abril 10, 2825-416 Costa da Caparica" Nice fresh and grilled fish direct from the "lota" of Caparica ;) it's a simple little restaurant but a nice one. Don't forget that for dessert, you really need to go and grab a delicious ice cream at "Pintado", this is on the main avenue (Rua dos Pescadores). Hope you guys enjoy my hometown, I really gotta go there too one of these days...missing it already :(

@Mamen_75 Thank you for this 👍 One thing I noticed in Portugal is that good cafes and restaurants have been around for 10, 20, or even 30 years. In our home country, the lifespan of restaurants is usually much shorter. So you don't live in Portugal anymore, right?🇵🇹

@@millionplacesoneworld O motivo só pode ser pelo aumento do número de brasileiros em Portugal. Provavelmente muitos deles q vão a esse restaurante pedem farofa porque a feijoada à brasileira ( por sinal maravilhosa ) leva farofa. No fundo acho que devemos respeitar e preservar ao máximo as gastronomias milenares de cada país.

Once I tried migas and it was like so-so, but that restaurant was not the best, so probably it was because of that 😁 And farinheira is not our top dish 🫡

Hey👋 Good to see you here!🫡 Well, 27 is hot for me (especially when filming), since we are from Latvia🇱🇻😁 Answering the question about the streets, Leiria is calmer, let's say, compared with Lisbon and Porto, but it doesn't feel like a ghost city. For now, it is my favorite city in Portugal🇵🇹

@millionplacesoneworld It really depends from the place, here in the south I think people go more for softer drinks with it, like Amarguinha (bitter almond liquor) or Licor Beirao. But I also seen people have it with stronger drinks like wiskhey or medronho (fire water). This is more a habit of regulars than tourists, people usually have a digestive drink with the coffee, if on that day they don't feel like having one they ask for a cafe with cheirinho and usually the person serving already knows wich drink they have with the coffee

@smmtavares Nice 👍 We lived in Riga, it's our hometown 😁 But we haven't been there for some time and it's not like in Portugal with restaurants. They are usually closing and opening with very short lifespans. But I bet you already tried "Lido", it's one place where you can eat traditional dishes from Latvia🫡 Say Hi to Riga, we will go next summer there 🇱🇻🇵🇹

We had Alheira and Feijoada after, that's why we stuck with one type of wine🫡🍷
