  • Hello guys in this beautiful day 🫡🇵🇹
Today I take you back to the past. To be honest I did not believe that these kind of places still exist in Portugal.
We are going to Candal - a picturesque village nestled in the heart of Lousã. Join me on a journey through its streets, surrounded by lush greenery and traditional Portuguese architecture.
From its cottages to the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes, Candal offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle.
Together with other villages tjis place is called Aldeias do Xisto.
Time here seems to slow down, and the beauty of simplicity shows at every corner 🇵🇹
And we are coming back here.
    Love this place🧡
    Stay Tuned and Tchau!!!

Vandal looks like the place my uncle (mother’s brother) would take me to in Italy for a few days when I was about 8 years old. Actually Candal looks larger 😅😅😅 and a great place to get away for a long weekend or week. Thank you for this video and have a great week. 👍🏻 👋🏻

You can drive to the swing. Follow the main road up the mountain and then there's a left turn to Trevim. BTW, Trevim is cool too. It's the highest point of the Lousã mountain range.

Olá 👋🏻 Isn’t Portugal amazing? For such a small country, the variation in the climates, and microclimates from North to South, and East to West are fascinating! With the exception of the Xist houses, it looks like here (Ottawa area) in Fall… (we are now well into winter ❄️)… it’s gorgeous! Was that man saying that that entire space was €55/night? Bedroom, living room and kitchen? It’s great it had a wood stove, otherwise it would feel cold and damp this time of year, I’d imagine.

Hi! I don't know what idea of Portugal you have. By living here you must have changed your perception already. In fact, our landscapes are quite diverse including microclimates everywhere. From North to South, you'll find idyllic places such as this one.

    Muito traquila a aldeia!

  • @jorgealves8578

Candal fica cheio de turistas que não respeitam o sossego do lugar. É dramático sobretudo aos fins de de semana, gente por todos os lados que espreita às janelas das casa, sem pudor.
