Hi mate ! im looking for a mic whit usb entry. Did u recomend Elgato wave 3 in 2024? (and for a couple years) or is better go for another option more recent? Some choice i have in mind are the Sennheiser profile, the Hyperx Quad Cast 2 and of course, Elgato wave 3. Which could be the best? PD: Im not a streamer or something like that. Im just want a mic for gaming using discord mainly and other uses like videocalls in meet/webex

These Settings can easily be Tansferred to Elgatos other microphones or interfaces too Like the Wave Neo or Wave XLR

Hi, thanks for these settings, help a lot, but do you have a video about how to use Sources and Audio Mixer? Because it is not clear, what is the difference between Microphone/Aux and my mic from Sources. Which I need to set Filters? I ask it because I want to ducking a source (Desktop audio) with my microphone, but I don't know what is the right selection: ducking with Mic/Aux or duckling with my microphone from Sources? Thanks for any advice!

Super silly question, I've recently upgraded my capture card to the elgato 4k X I would like to separate the game audio which is the "line in" on my goxlr to the rest of my audio with my goxlr/ obs, how would I do that? great tutorial buddy, I really need this for my youtube videos.

This is an almost unrelated question but in my OBS my audio bar has -5 showing as in the red.. the red part of the bar is much bigger. I'm terminally freaking out because my voice comes to just under that frequently (Lord I have the worst voice I've been trying to balance it forever lol) .. I've had it drummed in to me that 'In the red is bad' but if I dont hit that point, folks can barely hear my stupidly low and husky voice. So.. is in to the red always bad? And why isn't your -5 in it?

For a single pc setup it's great. Unless they are building a new dock and adding separate connectivity for the stream deck portion and some audio in/out maybe an amp, this is pretty useless for a 2 pc setup.

so would you have a compresser and upwards compresser or replace replace compressor with upwards, currently I am use compressor, audio ducking and limiter

I'm confused. Wouldn't this make it where you wont need wavelink anymore? Since you can separately control all the volume levels? Im new to wavelink btw trying to set it up today. Im saying this cause I did this since I don't want music to play on vods. Unfortunately now the separate wavelink source will not transfer to my obs? Any help would be appreciated I am so confused haha. Im trying to figure out a way where I can use wavelink and separate the music so I wont get my vods muted. I love how you can hear both sound switch a click of a button it helps out a lot. Any help would be appreciated ! :) edit: issue I'm having the audio from wave link wont transfer to obs for some reason? so if I lower it on wavelink it wont lower on obs it will have all default audio levels. it will only move if I change it in the game application so basically if I click the hearing icon on wavelink it is practically useless. I would have to use obs audio settings if that makes sense.

Hey, this is a great video but isn't Elgato Noise Removal a noise gate itself? Meaning, you probably shouldn't use both?
