dude, thank you so much! i was following a different tutorial on tiktok bc it had popped up on my fyp and my adhd was like, "oh yeah - we were supposed to do that ages ago! lets do it now." but the instructions were to copy bin, data, and obs plugins into the same named folders which, ya know, didn't work. i tried 3 times. this tutorial explained it very well while keeping it simple and concise. so thank you!!!

Just Extract the Zip for Bango Cat in the root of OBS Studio the files will go to where it needs to be. Do that all the time with Mods. Saves you have to running around to the different directories.

I know this is an older video but, you can simply drag all 3 folders (bin, data and obs-plugins into the obs-studio folder and it will automatically put the files where they need to be. You don't have to manually put them anywhere specifically. Because the Bango Cat folder already has the corrects paths in them (for example, Bango Cat > bin > 64bit) it means that it will simply put whatever doesn't match a folder (Bango Cat inside the 64bit doesn't exist in the obs-studio > bin > 64bit folder) inside the latest matching folder (which would be 64bit in this case). This means that it requires 0 manual sorting and is actually incredibly quick to setup.
I have a question? can you use bongo cat some how without streaming, just using bongo cat for fun without streaming? (so bongo cat is there without needing to stream? because i dont want to stream i just want bongo cat there normally.
Haha I guess..🤷🏼♂️ You don't have to be live for him to work, that's how I recorded this video.. So as long as you install bongo cat into OBS you should be able to see it anytime its open

Is there any way to make it react with every key instead of only the intended ones? I have a PNG keyboard image and it annoys me as hell that it only reacts to the small list the creator gave
I like quadruple checked everything and it just doesnt work - when i am done setting it up i start OBS, find the plugin, start it and then there is only the paw and keyboard + mousepad - NO Mouse, NO Cat - i then change from Live2d Setting checked to unchecked, now the cat is there but still no right hand and no mouse - the cat also doesnt move an inch like breath effect in the settings, or blink - i don't know why thats happening because i literally did the install like 5 times now (not even overexaggerating) - do you know why? i cant talk to one who made it or community people because the discord server link doesnt work so i am stuck with asking in comments ._.

man u know that u can literally just copy everything thats inside of the bongo cat folder inside of the obs folder and it will automtaicly just put everything everywher. It does not override the whole folder xD
When I made this video This was the ONLY method that would work... I think it was originally for OBS 0.29, I think they might have fixed it in the more recent ones 🤔
@@ajsarsfield it has nothing to do with obs. It is just a default windows thing (since forever). If u copy a folder with the same name or multiple into another folder witch already has those folders then windows will just merge both folders and only override the files(not folders) that are duplicate. Give it a try. Make a folder named "test" and put a random text in their. Make another folder in a different directory and also name it "test", also put a random txt file in here. If u now copy one of the "test" folders into the same directoryas the other "test" folder, u will notice that the "test" folder now has both txt files in it. In the end. Their is no need to manually copy each file when the folder structure is already in place.
You have made this harder than what it needs to be all you have to do is extract the root directory then copy over the 3 folders to your root folder of obs or prism live and job done
At the time I made this obs had an update so it didn't work that way for a while... This was the only way you could get it to function, otherwise the filter would load but without the image assets so it would basically be invisible... Glad to hear it's working normally again now 🔥
Not directly sadly.... ( not that I know of anyway) Do you use OBS? and if so, you could use the "vertical" plugin and output a virtual webcam to TikTok live studio with this plugin
