I’ve used that plugin for years now and I wouldn’t want to miss it! It’s so useful. Just a little mention: In case you didn’t see it already and you want to be up to date: Shortly after your video it got updated to v1.44. Most likely it’s just a bugfix.

I found that the loudmax plugin causes a few problems and had to remove ut
What issues did you experience?
I've been using it about 6-12 months and not had any issues personally so far..
But would love to hear why you removed it?
@ajsarsfield it started to cause a crackling problem due to the limting attack speed being to fast for my voice itself. Had to go back to another plugin I was using
OBS gives me no option to choose a plugin 😕
Did you install one correctly?
I wouldve loved to have used this, but its not letting me download the file at all

@@ajsarsfield thank you, i'll give that one a try! The loudmax gave me a pop up saying, "these files are used by the operating system and by various programs. Editing or modifying them could damage your system." - Also i wasnt able to find the plug in anywhere when i opened OBS

Otherwise I have no idea whybits not showing in OBS the File extracted for me and I just ran the installer..
Then next time it opened it was in the OBS filter options 🤔

This thing is useless when u have to deal with clipping MUSIC in Obs. Probably works fine for microphones but won't work with audio from dj mixers.
I am using it for quite a while on my external USB mixer input source in OBS. It works perfectly well on that USB source (applying it on my live acoustic drum bus + playback track mix (from VirtualDJ) which all together comes from a 18in/18out digital USB mixer). And for music/live instruments its not only managing the max level but you can even make your overall sound "louder" by playing with different threshold settings.
