If they made a version 2, just simply, add a detachable windshield in the box. Its a small thing, but it goes a long way. The software is already top notch and the fact it's XLR, giving you a huge range of preamps if you want instead; it's just a great wee bit of kit.
@@DM-MilkMan This I would agree with, plosives arent a huge problem but i know there will be people out there that struggle with them more than i do! - I wouldn't mind seeing an XLR/USB version so people have options for growth & travel but i know that it'd probably be closer to $200 for that type of microphone so it might not happen!
@@ajsarsfieldI believe the internal pop filter is what helps a ton with those plosives and near eliminates the need for a windshield. But also understand some may still prefer to have that extra layer of prevention 👌🏾
@@JPhrygian completely agree!! 🔥 I'm personally more than happy with the performance of the Inbuilt filter.. But if people are extra picky about "quality" then a filter might solve the odd plosives that happens sometimes (Would ruin the aesthetic though)
I've really been enjoying it since getting it! 🔥 I've even managed to get it sounding even better since shooting this too, so I'll be uploading a "filter" video to accompany this in the near future too
Thank you and DEAL! I actually prefer this kind of content over shorts/vertical, I just don't get many views yet so I'm trying to balance both.. Eventually I want LF to be my main thing, as its just WAY more fun and I can include more info/personality into this type of video ^_^
@@ajsarsfield awesome ! Yeah I’m the same I love shooting editing landscape but hate creating shorts and I think LF content is much better as it lets the viewer into the weird and wonderful world of the creator ! Im invested 100% in the person behind the camera Btw off topic your tip on shooting SLOG 2 on TikTok worked really well many thanks 🙏
@@chris_beddows_videography Thank you ^_^ I need to make a full video about my journey with Slog-2! I only started shooting with it this year and its honestly made a HUGE difference for not blowing out all the lights behind me.. Was a bit of a faff trying to figure out the best settings for my cheaper camera though lol
@@ajsarsfield yup i still haven’t taken the plunge from cine4 to slog2 yet purely because of how 8bit can make or break your footage lol Be an interesting video though how you don’t need a RED or Sony fx30 to get a relatively good quality video Anyways look forward to your videos dude, keep doin wot your doing !
Of course! Its one of the next videos I'm going to do! I just need to finalise all of MY settings first so I'm happy with them and then i'll share them on here!
What would you like to see changed/added if they made a V2 of this Mic?? 🤔

You've probably moved on to other mics but do you remember what gain / VST filters / EQ profile you used during your review?
