i know lighting equipment isn't the most exciting thing.. but these are so versatile! I keep picking it up every time I need to shoot something away from my desk...🔥
new subscriber, and honestly half the products you review I dont even need/am interested in, but your reviews are fantastic and high quality. I really hope you make it big, because you deserve it. Keep it up! (Ironically this one is one of the few I really am interested in)
Haha! Thank you so much!! 🔥🤞 I really enjoy making these videos so I'm glad they're enjoyable and useful to watch 🎉 Like a lot of people, Im mostly on a Budget too... So if I find products I'm interested in that are affordable, ill usually show them off & let people know if they're worth buying IMO
Thank you for this review. I’m new in the cinematography space and so seeing this really helped me understand the importance of lighting and the right light to buy.
I am actually!! 😅 I switch between the Tiffen black pro mist And the K&F concept Black Mist/VND combo filter. Depends on the shot/situation but theyre both about 1/4 strength!
Do you know what the diameter is around the LED itself? I saw it doesn't have glass so I'm thinking of buying a round tempered glass screen protector like the ones made for smart watches.
It was an Aputure MT Pro! Great little light for backgrounds or lighting b roll etc.. amzn.to/3yZpCr9 I'd also consider checking out the Amaran PT1C as well which is similar but like £50 less 🔥 amzn.to/3z5PTEg
Honestly it was just a standard air cushioned light stand from "Calumet" If I was going to do it a bit more professionally & was filming with other people around, I would have used a C-stand with sandbags on it for safety... But I was only outside for about 10 mins to get the shot so just grabbed whatever was easiest 😅
100%! I use this light at about 20-25% in my small space with a soft box. So as long as you arent competing with bright windows behind you etc, then I think itd be fine!
@@ajsarsfield awesome I’m looking to have a small travel set up as I’m always on the move and a one man army. But I’m wondering if it’s just better to spend a little more and get a stronger light source to future proof my set up. I know the light will be bigger and less portable unfortunately 😕
Have you see the Zhiyun "Molus" range?? They are also small lights (not RGB) but I think they do a 100 and 200 Watt version which might be better for your needs (Obviously costs a bit more) 200W - amzn.to/3UnidKh 🤔 The 100W version can also be battery powered amzn.to/3w1PzoJ
@@ajsarsfield yes exactly what I was looking at first but then I seen these at a more affordable price range and thought to myself wait a minute lol so you suggest going with the molus line instead?? They also have a 65 w rgb that I could use for I don’t know what 😅
If you can afford it, I'd defo go the Zhiyun Route... Heard great things about those lights! 🔥 This Colbor light is pretty decent for the price but its defo a more "budget" option in comparison. Plus as I said in the video I was having issues with the colbor app etc.. So hopefully the Zhiyun app works better for wireless control 🤔

Nice video my friend! Not really in the market for a light but still watched the whole thing - the editing and content was great. 🎉
Appreciate you watching the whole thing though 🎉
I know lighting isn't always the most "exciting" topic, so I tried to keep it entertaining & fun
Your videos are so informative. They are really appreciated.
Thank you so much!!!
I'm genuinely so happy that people find them useful 🥰🔥
Thx for the review. Love your style. Greetings from Prague :)
Thank you so much!!
I had a ton of fun putting this vid together so I'm glad you enjoyed it 🔥
great video!
Thank you so much!!
its a surprisingly good light for the price
Loved the video ❤
Also, are you using a black mist filter?
I am actually!! 😅
I switch between the Tiffen black pro mist

They're looking great!
Bro thanks a bunch. Question where did you get the small diffuser? TIA 👌
Oh the Small diffuser is the Aputure "Space light" - amzn.to/3U3zVCu
its about £70 or so on amazon but might be cheaper directly from Aputure
Do you know what the diameter is around the LED itself? I saw it doesn't have glass so I'm thinking of buying a round tempered glass screen protector like the ones made for smart watches.
yooo what was the little tube light u threw on the bed?
It was an Aputure MT Pro!
Great little light for backgrounds or lighting b roll etc..

what stand did you use for the outside shot?
Honestly it was just a standard air cushioned light stand from "Calumet"

@@ajsarsfield lol yeah makes sense. Thanks for the response
Is this strong enough to be a key light?
100%!
I use this light at about 20-25% in my small space with a soft box.
