Funny story. My sister in law was over and i gave her some eggs, dont know what way the conversation went but she asked will i get any chicks. I said no as i dont have a rooster. Hey, someone closer to my zone in Northern WI. I am fighting with all the gardening this year. It's been a sloooow start. Last year, I was so much farther ahead. It has been nice not to have to water so much this year with all the rain, but the flooding and standing water is not helping with mosquitos. So much bug spay ans layers of cloths to try and ward them off.

Great video. Thanks for all the tips. I have a question about the red rangers. I was advised to get Cornish cross meat chickens because they taste better than the red rangers. Have you noticed a big difference in taste?? I would like to get away from the Cornish cross.

The purple peppers are so fun! That variety grows very well too!

Idk what I did wrong with this recipe… I followed all the directions. After four days in the cupboard I placed in the fridge. 24 hours later I tried tasting them and they were mushy and terribly salty.

Hi, do you use the automatic sunrise/sunset setting on your ChickCozy opener or do you use the timer? I’m having trouble with automatic opening with a covered run, not enough light for the sensor. Thanks!

I have 3 roosters that are just over 7 weeks old. Do I have to introduce them to the rest of my flock (1 roo and 7 hens) at night? Or can I put them together this afternoon so I can watch them? I also have an additional 7 chicks that are 3.5 weeks old. Should I wait a couple of weeks to throw them in with the rest? Currently everyone is outside in separate coops/runs but all can see each other. Thanks for a great video!

I’m just curious what your reasoning is to prune the lower suckers. Will they not produce fruit? I usually plant indeterminate tomatoes and I planted a bunch of romas this year so I’m just trying to figure it out 😊
