Great video! I hatched my first set of eggs several weeks ago and it was so exciting to watch! I ordered them though. I have another batch going now that took longer to get to me and my power went off twice! I figured there was absolutely no way any survived but I left them and candled them the other night and there are nine growing! To say I'm shocked is an understatement!
I wouldn’t, especially since duck eggs take a week longer to hatch. The incubator will be filthy from the chickens hatching the previous week, plus the humidity levels will be off for the ducks from the first hatch of the chickens
Interesting on not using eggs that has been in the fridge. My granddaughter has been successfully for a few years and she will store eggs in the fridge leading up putting them in the incubator. Also, she has noticed in the winter she has a higher percentage of female chicks.
You do such an "eggs-solent" job of explaining how to get ready to incubate eggs. Makes such good sense.
Yay! I’m so glad to hear it! ☺️🫶🏼

So we shouldn’t try to incubate our duck eggs, the same time as our chicken eggs?
