Love the new color on your cabinets! Also I think you are right about the chicks not going into the coop and they stay out in their run. It is my understanding that they can’t see well enough to find the roost if it is too dark. We had that happen before and had to assist our birds to their roosts, otherwise they would have to stay on the floor.

Awesome job on the cabinet paint job! Prep work makes all the difference. Just a tip here....I've used a small sponge roller to get the paint on...then finish with a brush. Makes quicker work on larger surfaces 🤠
That is the PERFECT green with the beautiful wood!!! Great job and can't wait to see the floor remodel, though I think your place is lovely :) Just a little tip about the chickens roosting bars....it would benefit them greatly to have like a branch to roost on, as they are rounded and their feet will be comfortable instead of flat bars that they can't grip and relax their feet. Yay! I'm loving how the tones all compliment each other. Regarding the roosting bars, as much as chickens love them, rounded edges aren't a great choice for Minnesota. That'll result in frost-bitten toes. 2x4's are the best option for cold climates. Great suggestion for the south, though!

❤👍Time waits for no one. Same chicken problems , door was messing up. Then they can't see in side too Roost, And hang outside looking in their coop. Going too put a solar power night light for them. Just need it on for an hour or less. My outside Roost bars are lower then in the coop. So they feel safer inside. ❤👍Great job on the cabinets!! And editing the video.✌
Great suggestions! I was thinking about taking the top roosting bar off as well. That might help! Still on the hunt for a nightlight, but they’ve been behaving better the last few days, so we’ll see :) Thank you!!!!
