@mytysmith if you don't meet the criteria, then you wouldn't apply. If you meet the criteria, you apply, and you will get accepted. This removes the refusal comment. If you sign a contract for 12 months then you required to pay it. How enforceable that would be I'm unsure. However a legal contract is a legal contract. You can switch visas if you find a job, however the working visa dies with the job, so if you get a sponsor and then decide to leave that job, you need to find another sponsor. It took us about 2-3 months from applying to acceptance of residency.

@jasonthompson514 we lived in Portugal and then the UK and then Cyprus. In Cyprus there is no language barrier. The weather is nice. The tax system is beneficial for me. In Portugal they also have tax perks, but because I lived there for more than 5 years, I was not allowed to take advantage of them.

@ cheers for your quick reply. We are a couple 55-60, just looking for a nice easy going life. I was in the engineering business, cnc machining , lathe and milling work, would be nice if there’s some of that type of work around, I did see a bit of it in Cyprus. My wife works online, data analyst. Just trying to find options. Cheers

Hi,, congratulations! Was it hard to get permission to take the dogs?? We really wanna sell our house and just move out there but we couldn't leave our American bulldogs back here. X

@@ryanthomas1510 morning, Thank you. It isn’t that it was hard to get permission, but the process was a pain in the backside, but like yourself no way we would be leaving our dogs. Needed to have all injections including a rabies one, and all need to be timed within a certain time of you flying. We needed a fit 2 fly certificates, although both the agency and the vets said that has never been needed before, basically that entails a full examinations from head to toe, and one of mine has a heart murmur, however that doesn’t prevent us from taking him. This also has to be done within a certain time of flying. Also need a health certificate which is provided by a different type of vet, but it’s needed and your own vet doesn’t provide this. This also needs to be done within a certain time of flying. We also needed their microchip certificates. And we had to use an agency for the whole flight booking as British airways won’t allow you to book the dogs on flight yourself. So it’s just trying to coordinate everything and getting the timings right and obviously the cost of it all, but if you only have one dog the cost will be significantly less than it has cost us. And due to the time of year we are travelling it meant we were more restricted with airlines, I believe if it’s a different time of year that you have more choice and different airlines have different requirements, unfortunately for us BA wanted us to do cartwheels 😂

Hello mate, I use the DJI Action Pro 4. With the DJI Mic. They auto connect and I don't do any edits to the audio or any colour corrections. If I actually knew what I was doing I could make them look much better. I have just subscribed to your channel mate 👍

@AlsKitchen only reason we stopped is because the videos stopped showing in our feed, however we binged watched a few yesterday. We are flying back again for new year, all 4 of us this time, so i will stock up on paracetamol then 😀 yeah I bumped into Cyprus Smurf the other week in Coral Bay. Our neighbour brought Souvla round the week before, cooked and smoked on some wood he said was the traditional way. He was in the garden cooking it for about 3-4 hours 😋

@ you have to do a podcast with them it will be interesting. Have a lovely Christmas and enjoy the holidays in the UK. The Cypriots know how to make food and eat that is why we all are over weight and have high cholesterol and diabetic 😂 looking forward to next vlog.

@ they are very funny and lovely and I enjoy listening to there podcast. I welcome to Cyprus but the good thing is when it is hot you will lose it and sweat it off just eat what you can until it gets very hot.

Yeah, still see social posts every now and then about it. We have flown from there in August, September, November, December and have been straight through every time. Been very lucky!

Both airports will be extended and upgraded.
