Hi Tom and family it does look a lovely walk around the harbour and past all the bars and places and I think €4 for a scoop of ice cream is a bit expensive and I do like some types of fresh fish and you’re kids are so well behaved and the restaurant looks lovely and the food looks delish and this Vlog has been great again
@@yvonnetitterington3675 thanks Yvonne, in all honesty I should of had a look at the ice cream before commenting, it could of been the biggest scoop the work has seen. But yeah €4 for 1 scoop is a little out of my comfort zone. And thanks the kids are great, they have their moments but very rarely misbehave!
@@IreneTheodoulou-p8m thanks Irene, yeah we had never been to Paphos so we have nothing from old to compare it to. But going off Paphos now, it is exactly what we want 😀
Enjoying the videos, keep them coming. I have found when going to Paphos the renowned places to eat for quality and reasonable prices, as well as a bit of traditional thrown in, are out of town in the area of the Kings Avenue Mall, I believe a bus stop’s right outside the mall on its way down to the seafront from Peyia. Gennadios Souvlaki for kebabs and local food and next door to it a traditional Italian Pizzeria La Sardegna da Gino if the kids are into their pizzas or pastas. These places are always busy mostly with a mixture of locals and ex pats.
@@MrJohnABerry I had never heard of it, but Emily said it’s mentioned all the time in the Paphos groups. We wouldn’t of been able to get a seat even if we tried
@NuttersInCyprus hi Tom. It does get busy indeed but good places do 😁. Dominic on Paphos Life (worth a look for his channel) always gives it a mention when he walks past
@NuttersInCyprus I always watch his videos for research. When the missus and I (hopefully) retire over there in years to come I will probably know the roads around Paphos like the back of my hand 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Wendy! Yeah the food was nice to be fair and the staff were really pleasant 😀 I thought it was good value. Just wish Leo would have had the mash and sausage with gravy as he would have eat the lot. But I like it when he tries something different from his usual, so can't complain!
Tom can we get a video on a update on the whole process you went through to get your car across ie wgo you got to import the car and like what you had to go through on the cyprus side in more detail please as we are moving there in the next couple of weeks and we do want to take the car have subscribed and watched every video and at one point my partner said you must have cameras in our house because all the reasons you said we have said it was like watching our self keep up the good work
@carllavery4069 🤣 yeah I get lots of messages with people saying the same thing, alot of people thinking the same thing. I'll make a video about the car and put it out on Wednesday for you. Cheers
Hi Tony, It depends, it's certainly not easy but each circumstance is different. So many caveats. I mean it's very easy to move here, we just booked some tickets and rented a villa through Facebook, that part took 5 minutes. It's the being able to stay here that's the hard part. My attitude was, let's just go! Then if we fail immigration we will just fly back to the UK after 90 days is up and we'll class it as a 90 day holiday.
Hi Guys, we actually moved to cyprus last year with 2 kids ourselves. Back in the UK now though. I am looking at buying a holiday home there. Why did you guys decide on PEYIA? Vs somewhere like protaras?
@adam-lx2qx Hi Adam, how come you decided to move back to the UK? Originally we was moving to Paralimni after we had holidayed for 1 week in Protaras. Then I posted in a forum and asked 'where do you live in Cyprus? Why did you choose Paphos or Protaras end?' Then somebody replied "we live in Peyia, it's very British, very peaceful, it's all year round, and it has everything you need" So I googled peyia and it had everything we needed, and it's all year round. All year round was our main thing because of the kids. We lived in Portugal before and it was seasonal, 6 months on, 6 months off, we didn't want that for the kids as the winters are long
@NuttersInCyprus well the miss takes kids out everyday in uk farms/kids activities etc and just didn't find the same there, which she didn't enjoy. We are prop similar ages 39&30 kids are 2 and 7. We was paralimni. I enjoyed it. Was more for me todo with the 7yr old vs England. Fishing trips etc but her with 1 year old... was no such thing as baby groups.. we was just discussing though and she things it would of been easier now his 2. You must be sweating out there now! Funny watching your vids as we did all same things. Importing car, immigration appointments 😅. Friends was another thing.. all the brits we found were in their 60's so bit too old for us youngsters! I loved it though and would go back!
Hahahaha! Leo and his icecream! Ooooh! Double delish! 😀👍🍻🙋
