Immigration has always been and always will be in this world. Nothing wrong with that. But it must be, as you said, legal and of people who contribute to the society, not the crap and parasites/bloodsuckers that the UK has done for several decades now, who have totally drained the economy and turned it into a sinking ship. Other than those who work online or have online businesses or those with a good retirement package, what would you recommend to others who are still young or at a working age, what kind of work businesses they can do there? Does the visa you have allow working and/or setting up one's own business? How much you reckon language would be a barrier? 🙏
In cyrpus the language is no barrier! There is also Google Translate where you talk into your phone and it talks the translation. That solves that issue. I'm only 37 and uneducated, so I'm not the best person to give out advice. What I did to get to this point is... 1. Think, think about everything. Ask why to everything. Why is this happening! What's the benefit! What happens if it goes wrong! Etc etc. Someone told me the man that asks the questions holds the power. 2. Everybody has an opinion, but not all are valid. Even family wany the best for you, but if they haven't lived it, they are answering without being qualified. If I want to learn about money, I speak to people have lots of it. If I want to learn about property I listen to people who own some. I don't listen to the noise. 3. Even if your not looking to make a house, car or any other loan application, build your credit score now. Because when the day comes your in a position to make a move, you don't want to spend the next 6-12 months building a score. Most people won't spend £14 a month on Experian, but will spend £40 on a takeaway. 4. Stop smoking cigs, weed, vaping. 5. If everyone else is working 40 hours a week, you work 100 hours a week. You'll achieve what they do in a year, in just 4 months. Elon Musk said that years ago, I paid attention and did it. 6. Learn the difference between having a job, being self employed and owning a business. If you are a tradesman and 1 man band, you have a job, not a business. Learn how to scale and replace yourself. If you can replace yourself, the scale by adding more people, you have a business. This allows you to work from your phone and the business will continue. 7. When scaling make sure you build out solid systems, if you have chaos in your business, by scaling to soon you only scale chaos. 8. Somebody told me when I was on the building sites the man with the hammer used to rule the world, now its the man with the laptop. 9. Consistency, just keep going, even when you wake up and kicked in the balls 10 times a day 7 days a week, keep going...but at the same time, learn when to stop. It's a skill in itself. 10. Write down your plan, I don't write time targets, for me it's just get it done and it'll take aslong as it takes. Going back to point 9, be consistent, going back to point 5, work more to get to your target quicker. A) build credit score B) save 2k emergency fund C) learn Microsoft Excel (youtube vids) D) Improve zoom call skills And so on. 11. Look at your life as a whole not just next couple years, are you willing to double down and work hard now for 5-10 years, to enjoy the next 40. (Age dependent) 12. Nobody really cares about you, if you don't go and do what you've got to do, nobody else will do it for you. 13. Risk, would I take a risk of losing 4k to make 2k the answers most likely no. Depending on the risk calculation. But would I risk 4k for 8k, maybe, again depending on the risk calculation. 14. When doubting yourself, look at everyone around you and think, if he can do it so can I. Hard work and consistency beats talent. 15. If your goal is a million, think of the work you think it'll take, multiply it by 10, then go and do what it takes. Even if you fail, you might have make 100k, that's still a win, even if you don't make 100k, your further forward in life than you would have been just sitting there doing nothing. I could go all day, but I just put loads of little rules in place for myself and stay disciplined.
@Seeker-p1q I'm still working at 51. However, my line of work- a consultancy that enables me to work from Cyprus. From a visa perspective. As I said to @NuttersInCyprus, I obtained my MEU1 status before the UK left the European Union, so I can effectively live and work here for as long as I wish - no restrictions Now that the criteria for entry have changed, it's not an easy process - all the advice/guidance in these posts is accurate, so watching and listening will be beneficial.
Listen and read everything ..question challenge and research it all. Then double check ..the. Check again. Get as many opinions as you can . Ignore nothing there is always some truth.. then and only then decide
Im 28 indian born here but parents came to the uk in the 80s even they are sick of whats happening now, we all worked for decades contributed to society parents cane legally through a port of entry and we have undocumented folk ruining this country, bought in by middle to upper class folk who live in their gated cushy communities, its sad because my parents came here to give me and my bro a better life but its just not here anymore, i cannot see myself in the uk permanently from 40 onwards just trying to save and invest as much as i can before then, you speak the truth, its not racist its being a realist
@@Mandems96 I just don’t understand, if you have million pounds then you can probably move anywhere, India does allow dual citizenship, maybe you can get residency in India, but if you want to move to many countries you had better be rich since Brexit
You did the right thing moving to Cyprus, I'm living in Ireland and life here is being destroyed by undocumented migration, right now our housing is dire, homelessness off the scale, hospitals and public transport deplorable and our education system is deteriorating, so I would love to follow your example. Ignore the haters that's just begrudging.
With an Irish passport you can move wherever you like and don't need to pay attention to any of the earnings criteria. Your entitled to healthcare and to work 😀
Not sure how bad it is in ireland but illegal immigrants have flooded cyprus as well. Crime is up especially in paphos limassol areas. Illegal africans from the North through occupied areas and jihadi syrians by boat or north are slowly creating ghettos and chaos. Chlorakas in paphos is a no go area with illegal arabs i read
Ireland biggest problem is Irish puppit politicians hate the Irish. what they are doing is criminal .Now Ireland has no homes to rent to bye Health care in crisis soon they'll be a shortage off Nurse's doctors midwife..
I'm in the process of doing exactly the same as you. Im 60 yrs young i retired at 55 and like you have had enough of the UK, Cyprus is such a better place to live especially if you have young children like you. I feel personally the UK is done and only ever going to get worse sadly. I wish you and your family the very best for the future. Keep your clips coming i enjoy listening while sitting in the glorious sun in October you won't get that either in the UK 😂.
I'm planning to move to Cyprus in a couple of years. My advice to you, mate, is to ignore the trolls and keep growing the channel. You're doing a great 👍 job. Keep doing the great work. Best NOT to mention these haters.
Great video, honest account of what people need to pass the entry criteria and what it’s going to cost when they get out there. Keep putting out the content, it’s spot on.
Good luck to ya. You're right and I have the exact same feeling about the UK. It's a sinking ship and offers a very low quality of life. Our brains are pummelled with negative TV and social media trash. The weather is bad so we're trapped in our little boxes forced to live artificial lives. I'm English Cypriot mix born in London and I've applied for Citizenship back in September. Looks like I'll be following you!!
From a Mancunian 60+ woman. You are spot on. We welcome migrants who come and contribute, just not the freeloaders. Good on you. You're going to give your family a great life, not asking g Cyprus to provide for your family. You're a loss to Britain.
Like many in Britain, I'm not optimistic about the future and thinking about emigrating. Given what I've gathered about your circumstances and the city you left, I think you've made a good decision. I wish you and your family the best of luck in your new country.
Good for you mate. Straight talking, fending for you and your family, expecting no one to step in and support you. Those that get all negative over this are the ones who will not take risks and prefer the safety of 'what they know', even if it is dire. I've lived in different parts of the world and have recently retired in the UK, funny enough, will I stay here, I don't know but I've earned the right to make that decision and will expect no one to support me and my family wherever we choose to live. I've spent a fare amount of time out in Cyprus working so know the place quite well. Your info on the channel is dead useful in helping others decide if they could make a go at it. Best of luck to you and your family 👍
It's bizarre that Brits have to go through ID checks and have money and be able to prove they can support themself to be able to move to another country, yet any foreigner wanting to move to the UK just gets in and is given support and accommodation for free.
New to your vids but am finding them extremely insightful. Good for you for sharing your experience and taking the chance to make a better life for you and your family. Keep up the good work👍
Just subscribed to your channel fella. Love your videos, the info is great and made me want to do something. I can’t stand the cold and the rain plus the other stuff we all know that’s going on in the UK 🤔Don’t take any notice of the haters, you’ve said nothing wrong. All the best to you & your family 👍🏼
It really intrigued me listening to your career journey from school with little or no qualifications in a past video. I take my hat off to you, its your business and you should be proud of what you have achieved so far which has ultimately lead to coming out here to live. Don't listen to the haters. I wish I had been so smart and worked smarter like yourself when I was at the end of my schooling. I have been lucky enough to have been living here in Cyprus for the past 20 years or so from when I was in my early 20's (obviously working here during this time period) without all the red tape, after having been born and lived and worked in the UK for a while, prior. I do have Cypriot heritage have a Cypriot Passport and ID and am married to a Cypriot as well. You definitely made the right choice I believe, despite the somewhat long winded processes, it was worth the effort though, embrace it.
I just wish I had the drive, money and brain power to be able to start up a business like you have an be able to run it from anywhere in the world. You're doing great!
Great channel - first hand information for folks wanting to move to Cyprus. You are correct that living in UK is very challenging and I guess each to their own. But fair play you made a life change for you and your family. Best Wishes to you and your family I hope you enjoy every moment there… 👍👍👍👍👍
Who the hell is calling you racist 😂 All you are doing is giving info about how much is costs to move abroad, and the reason you done it. Good stuff mate 👍
Good on you bud, it's all down to jealousy, if these people are giving you grief. You only get one chance at it, so good luck to you and your family. I'm Scottish and I wanted independence, so I would have a choice of freedom of movement but the tories took that away from me and a lot of other people. They think it's ok to let anyone into the UK without vetting them, but sadly we can't leave unless ypu fit the right criteria. The people that run the UK should all be locked up, for their mistrust of power. I'm delighted that you don't stay in this shitehole of an Island and keep uploading the videos, you are a breath of fresh air.
I finally got my Irish citizenship through this week and now waiting for my (EU) passport. Hoping to be coming to Paphos in Feb. We are both in our 60s but not at state pension age. We both have work pensions which would cover us should we need to (although as an EU citizen we don’t need to legally hit the €28.8k). I’m an entertainer and so will be working in the hotels so should be comfortable before I hit my state pension. You are so right about the mess the UK is in. I cannot wait to get out. We are lucky in so far as we already have some friends living out there, some Cypriot some ex pat brits. Like you I have started a YT channel to document my journey out there but I’m avidly watching your channel too as your info is so useful. Keep them coming. Plus, ignore the trolls, the haters, the nay sayers, they aren’t worth wasting your time and energy on, I think most of it is called jealousy. Brian
Can I ask why did you get an Irish passport.. and how ? I’m Irish and I can’t understand how so many English people are getting them… I’d never ever get myself an English passport ( even tho I could ) because it’s just something I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing .. being a proud Irish person ☘️ .. best of luck with your plans tho and I wish you all the best 🙏💚
@@lisamoore9238 I don’t know if you’ve watched the video(s) on my channel as it outlines it all especially the process. I legally have always been dual nationality, although I didn’t realise until recently. My grandmother was born in Co Mayo, she came to England as a baby, when my mother was born she registered her in England but, like most people, didn’t know to register her on the Irish Foreign Born Register (FBR) even though my mother was British by birth place and Irish through hereditary. So my mother was a dual national. Like my mother, I was born to an Irish citizen but British by birth place, like her mother she registered my birth in England but didn’t know to register my birth on the FBR. As I’m legally already an Irish citizen it’s why I don’t have to attend citizen exams and why I don’t go to a citizenship ceremony. There were law changes around 2005 regarding the hereditary rights which changes it for people born post 2005 You ask why? Well there are several reasons. One is that I have a real pride in being Irish myself, this brings it to a formal and legal position, but I’m also proud to be English too, one doesn’t diminish the other. From a practical point of view I’m also now an EU citizen again which opens the door to reside anywhere in the EU, something lost to British citizens after 2020. With that I shall have an allegiance to Cyprus too….but not diminishing my loyalty to either the UK or Ireland. Had I been aware of my full cultural background I may have done this exercise years ago and may well have moved over to Ireland to live at that point, however it was not to be. Hope this answers your questions and thank you for the kind wishes. All
@@ThatMicro43Guy wow thanks so much for your very detailed and honest reply… il definitely check out your videos and of course subscribe it’s the least that I can do.. have a wonderful weekend and the best of luck 🙏💚
@@lisamoore9238 my two videos about the Irish citizenship are on my channel associated with this login.(click on my picture) My other channel is called path to Paphos and that’s where I’m vlogging my journey and also giving some info videos on why I’m leaving etc. Thanks Lisa and best wishes
Best of luck with it all Brian, the golden ticket is the EU passport right now, removes all the headache! Good Luck with the channel, might bump into you when you out here 🙏

Well done, any parent wants to protect their children and give them a good life. I wish you all the luck. Thanks for info on pensioners, as a 62 year old it was helpful.
I take my hat off to you for all you have achieved. If I was 20 years younger I would jump at the chance. Would love to keep hearing about your life in Cyprus.
And Spain is also unsafe due to too many English criminals living there, this is why the Spaniards are protesting in Majorca, Ibiza and Canary Islands and want the English gone from Spain
Thanks for the information was very helpful. We are both retired and meet the criteria….so seriously going to look into this, unfortunately this country ( UK) is shot to pieces. Serviced in Cypress whilst in the army, great country. Many thanks
Top man Tom ignore the haters they are just jealous we know you’re a grafter and wonderful family man your loving it out there with the family fair play 😉 This is great content as always well done cheers 👍🍻
Huge congratulations to you and your family on the relocation. Well done to you for escaping the rat race… Please keep your content coming… you are helping us Brits make the move. I ❤your content!
Me and the Mrs are going to Gran Canaria when I retire in just over 2 years. Going for 3 months first, live as the ex pats and locals do and if we truly like it, will move permanently. Cheers for your useful information.
Well done mate best of luck to you and your family you are 100% right and always keep that attitude there is nothing in the uk now for the native people
Great comments on immigration. I was brought up in East Manchester- Gorton to be precise. It was always a tough area, but people looked after each other and respected their area and homes. I was lucky enough to be able to afford to move away in my late 20's- more rural- but I speak to people I know, and they tell me how bad it is now. Rubbish strewn everywhere, old abandoned furniture left in the streets, gangs of men hassling local girls- by the way, the local boys don't tolerate this! Fundamentally, these "people" that arrived on our shores haven't come to work and boost the UK economy, they've come to be manipulative of a situation created by a conservative government that has fucked the UK. I'm with you, if we were bringing in Dr, engineers, IT specialists, etc, then I'd welcome these people with open arms, but the unfortunate truth is that these aren't qualified professionals. I now live between Cyprus and the North East, and I really am sympathetic to people who live in amongst these conditions. The natural indigenous people of Great Britain are deteriorating.
Thank you, very helpful. Just started getting my state pension, but not my WFP! Wife is too young for pension so our income is too low to qualify for Cyprus even though my wife grew up there (RAF Akrotiri). Back in the UK I've sold my last BTL and paid the £27k CGT (not allowed to deduct refurb costs to sell from Cap Gain) after paying income tax on the rent, taking all the risks and doing all the work. This country's absolutely a train crash and getting worse. Don't mind the trolls - their probably the same idle, feckless crew who don't get off their ar*es, but just criticise and take. Keep up the good work!
Cheers, nuts! Yeah, I feel the UK doesn't encourage entrepreneurship. I'd probably do some research, maybe there is something that can be done as your wife spent time here pre 2020. I'm pretty sure there is a work around.
There are lots of tax cons in UK but capital gains is the worst. Check out the annual inflation rate for each year you owned that property. You will find that most of your “gains “ are actually inflation. What’s worse is that our government caused this inflation by printing too much money and giving it away ( I received none of it)!
Yeah my mate moved to polemi 6 years ago and i wish i could persuade my wife to come to Cyprus to enjoy our twilight years but i can still dream. Thanks for posting feller.
Good luck to mate hope you and your family crack right on out there, Im a 60 year old Londoner with health issues so cannot venture very far but about 10 years ago my mate got married out there in Protrus Cyprus me and my wife stayed in a different hotel to everyone else as we booked it late so we were just outside Protrus at Gresham park hotel and I said if I ever moved abroad this would be top of my list I found the people nice and they seemed to like the English which is rare. With the state of the UK I fill you have done one of the best things ever for your family really hope it all works out for you and your family you seem like a very genuine man.
Good for you , I left 18 years ago (but to a different country) and every time I visit I dont want to stay more than a week or two, it seems to be worse and worse every time I go there.
Great information as always on your video man. Moving out there (or elsewhere out of the UK) isn’t within reach for us at this time but we’re keeping on working towards it. Don’t listen to the jealous folks !! I’ve never been jealous of anybody and I’m friends with some very very successful, rich and sometimes lucky people, and jealousy doesn’t come into it. I’m happy and proud of what I’ve worked for and own and if I never get to live abroad I’ll still be happy, just a fair bit colder !! All the best to ya man. Take care.
Very informative fella..as someone approaching retirement within the next few yrs and sick of the state of the UK, we are looking at options mate with Cyprus a main contender. We're on holiday in Pernera at present and I know holidays are totally diff from staying full time but the relaxed pace and lifestyle would suit us down to the ground..thanks again fella
Great video! nicely done ! and thanks for taking the time to share this :) I imagine more and more people will be looking to get out of the UK to a nicer place which is more fair to live. We are constantly fleeced over here and it's only going to get worse.
England is now Hemland. (Haven for Economic migrants) I lived Cyprus for two years whilst in the Army. Always said I’d retire there. Cyprus has its share of immigrants as well but I don’t think the package is anywhere near as attractive as in the Uk. I can’t really see Turkish barbers being treated with the acceptance we grant these laundering outlets. Keep up the good work.
We don’t want none of your bases in Cyprus, we haven’t forgotten those British soldiers that raped our Cypriot women 10 years, idiots even walked free thanks to British government
Getting those numbers on the screen at last think will help alot of people :-). Those production values are only getting better mate :-p. Keep up the good work
Forgive me if I’ve missed this previously, but what do you do for a living (what job do you have etc) and how does that relate/transfer to Cyprus life?
Hi there, watched a few of your vids now. Thanks for the shares. You are doing a great job and it is positive to take advice from your experiences. I wish you all the best. When the time is right, we too will head away from this sinking dingy.
I am an immigrate working in the nhs in the UK. Been here half my life. This is home now but me and my well behaved baby are ready to gst out!. Honestry its too much for most of us hard-working immigrants
Appreciate that and thank you for your contibution, me and you have more in common than these idiots running the country! As I've said numerous times, my stance is, immigration = positive, mass illegal undocumented immigration = Dangerous! I hope you and your child all the best in the future 🙏
Really great updates and information. I think your channel will grow. I really like how you articulated (for the haters) the difference between immigration types. And in my opinion, the future is determined by the ingredients of the present. Innovative thinkers and problem solvers, who are self sufficient and not a burden with children that will continue the same way generally will build a better future in which ever country they move to. The country that attracts more of these types of people will thrive more than the country that doesn’t. It doesn’t get more simple than that to determine the future of a country in 30-40 years. That’s not the same as saying that a country should only have those types of ppl. Haters are gonna hate though.
Great information everything someone might need to know before moving Cyprus ...l agree about illegal immigration.. .l remember going UK 1974....was so great because it was British culture plus the right immigrant numbers...gone crazy last 20 years..
You have absolutely done the right thing for you and your family. That is a man's job. Ignore the negative comments. My wife and I retired ten years ago and were wondering whether to move abroad. We considered Cyprus, Lanzarote and Crete. We decided to stay in the UK and retire to the coast and go on holiday as much as we could afford. We used to live in Rochdale and could see exactly where the Country was going, but we have been surprised at the speed at which things have got worse. If we were retiring today, we would move abroad. I think it is too late for us now. Best wishes to you, your wife and your kids.
Good on you. I am retired, have travelled all over the world during my working life and agree with you completely. I was born and bred in Scotland and live in Scotland. We have three very elderly parents and need to be here to look after them. I don't give out advice, but young people in the UK, should look at their options. The country is being eroded by liberals and the most incompetent politicians most people have ever experienced. I wish people and families like yourselves only the very best.
From my experience the hate is most likely coming from people who would love to do what you are doing but are not brave enough to plan for and make the life change happen. It is their jealousy and bitterness of ‘their lot’ redirected into hate. Keep up with the videos and enjoy your lives over there
Another excellent vid. All the facts you put over are spot on. I'm rapidly approaching retirement age, ex British Forces so could afford to move out there. My problem is er in doors, she won't leave the grand kids. Good luck pal, red or blue.
That answered a load of questions - cheers. We are still ploughing through potential homes, I'm trying to avoid living too high up in the hills - but still in a village. The funny part about your comment that the UK's a sinking ship, you'll find loads of Cypriots online saying exactly the same about Cyprus.
My only counter to that is annidotal...all my Cypriot neighbours have just returned here from the UK as they say it's not the same and don't feel safe.
@@NuttersInCyprus The UK is definitely going downhill rapidly if you ask me. The complaints I see from Cypriots online are pretty much the same as we have at home. Feral teenagers, useless government, rising cost of living, unaffordable housing, healthcare shortages, too many immigrants, poor wages etc. But, I've always found the locals very welcoming when talking to them about moving to Cyprus - and everywhere seems safe to me. We've recently stayed in Latchi, Tsada and Polis and would happily live in any of these.
@@NuttersInCyprus Reddit in the r/cyprus sub. What does surprise me there is the cost of groceries, we kind of overlook how cheap supermarkets are in the UK compared to a lot of Europe.
@@NuttersInCyprus Your videos are really useful for me. We are looking to split our time between the UK and another country rather then up sticks and move permanently. Cyprus looks favourite, especially as residency seems easier, we are looking at Czechia and Portugal too.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts really appreciated I didn’t realise it was that simple to retire to Cyprus I’m now left wondering why I’m still here in the uk 👍😂👍
Great you're in Cyprus one of my favourite places. My only concern is the UK base Akrotiri and what may happen with our support of Israel. However, it's still a good move as here we are sinkng fast. Lots of luck to you and your family.
Great videos, I find them really informative for a person who loves Cyprus & is becoming increasingly frustrated living in the UK. Ignore the haters, I think there's a lot of green eyed monsters..... Any chance you can do a review of the area you're living? The bars, restaurants, beaches & the surrounding areas.... That would certainly be helpful, keep up the good work & congratulations on becoming free & having a better life, maybe 1 day I'll join you.....
Another priceless vid offering up real-time, pragmatic advice, thank you - I look for your vids every time I’m on toob … we’re coming over early next year part holiday part reccy with a view to a permanent move Ps ignore the detractors, it takes no effort or intelligence to moan and berate others for trying to improve themselves…as they say jealousy makes you nasty - ignore or delete their comments Pps - keep up the great work 😎

I'm retired so thanks for the info and you are doing what's best for your family. We live in a suburb and in the last couple of years the area has gone down hill. The NHS are asking what they can do to improve the service you stop giving free treatment to people who haven't paid into it.
Don’t understand why there are haters. I think it’s more jealousy. As a single older woman I’m still working on getting out of the UK to Cyprus or somewhere else possible. Looks nice there. Just about to inherit a bit as mum died to buy a small place in the UK. Am thinking it’s possible to rent it out to count towards the needed threshold and staring an e-commerce business. Everything is possible. Well done with your move especially when you also have kids x

Im an Englishman with an English passport. Fortunately i have lived the last 29 years in Sweden. Just retired at 64 and bought a nice villa on the other side of the island by Ayia Napa. Im a Swedish citizen so have a Swedish passport too. Im getting a nice Swedish pension now and when im 66 i will get the full state pension from England too and live like a king. I'm not here to gloat but hearing how difficult it is to get into Cyprus for Brits makes me realise how very fortunate i am to be able to come and live in Cyprus on an EU passport. Two weeks ago i applied for the yellow slip filled in a couple of forms paid 20 euros and walked off with the yellow slip a week later. It was so easy and with minimal cost and i can now stay in Cyprus as long as i like. I needed health insurance which was 250 euros for the year. I also needed a document from the Swedish police to prove i didnt have a criminal record in order to open a bank account which cost 20e online. As for a medical examination i have not been asked to prove anything regarding my health. Good luck and keep vlogging but try not to be so racialist. ( only joking )😂
Even a rented 1 bed flat would take almost 50% of that sum then elec water food transport etc that 1200 would soon disappear. Ive been here 10 years now and have seen massive increases in just about everything
I live round the mountain from you and we’ve been living out here since 2012 after serving in the military for 22years and living overseas for most of that time the UK is not the country I grew up in or served, crying shame but like you, you have too make the most out of what you have, get out whilst you still can.
@ponypetedm good man! Your right it's a shame, I have 2 brothers that served 1 in the engineers and 1 in the Cheshires, they both say the same! Salute to you sir 🫡
A) build credit score
B) save 2k emergency fund
C) learn Microsoft Excel (youtube vids)
D) Improve zoom call skills
And so on.
11. Look at your life as a whole not just next couple years, are you willing to double down and work hard now for 5-10 years, to enjoy the next 40. (Age dependent)
@@NuttersInCyprus True. Ask questions and ye shall find the answers. 👍🙏
@Seeker-p1q I'm still working at 51. However, my line of work- a consultancy that enables me to work from Cyprus.
From a visa perspective. As I said to @NuttersInCyprus, I obtained my MEU1 status before the UK left the European Union, so I can effectively live and work here for as long as I wish - no restrictions
Now that the criteria for entry have changed, it's not an easy process - all the advice/guidance in these posts is accurate, so watching and listening will be beneficial.
@@NuttersInCyprusand always have an exit plan if the life here is not what you thought it was.

Cheers mate, All the best with your future move!
@@Mandems96 I just don’t understand, if you have million pounds then you can probably move anywhere, India does allow dual citizenship, maybe you can get residency in India, but if you want to move to many countries you had better be rich since Brexit
would you move to Portugal are Spain?
Cheers mate, thank you! 👍
Agree with no need to mention the people who have nothing constructive to say. They are time wasters. Don't give them the oxygen.
If you do move to my country than make sure you don’t have issues with immigrants in UK since you will be becoming one in Cyprus
Thank you for taking the time to do this video. At 63 I really appreciate it.
@wendydevereux4375 thanks Wendy! 🙏
Look forward to bumping into you mate, good luck with it all 🙏
Hade where you gonna be? Im North london moved here 6 months ago.
Looking out for your wife and kids has nothing to with being racist. But its just facts of happening in uk
From a Mancunian 60+ woman. You are spot on. We welcome migrants who come and contribute, just not the freeloaders. Good on you. You're going to give your family a great life, not asking g Cyprus to provide for your family. You're a loss to Britain.
Thank you, all the best 🙏
Like many in Britain, I'm not optimistic about the future and thinking about emigrating. Given what I've gathered about your circumstances and the city you left, I think you've made a good
decision.
All my questions answered in one video. Thanks again for taking the time to explain everything. 👍👍👍
Thanks, mate. All the best! Enjoy the weekend 🙏

Just subscribed to your channel fella. Love your videos, the info is great and made me want to do something. That was very useful information. Thanks as always ❤😊
Keep enjoying Cyprus life and sunshine
Beautiful message, and just thank you. We are coming.
Whats stopping you? Message on our nutters in Cyprus fb page if you ever want to bounce ideas.
Another good video chum. Many thanks.
Kind Regards from

Great channel - first hand information for folks wanting to move to Cyprus. You are correct that living in UK is very challenging and I guess each to their own. But fair play you made a life change for you and your family. Best Wishes to you and your family I hope you enjoy every moment there…

Who the hell is calling you racist 😂 All you are doing is giving info about how much is costs to move abroad, and the reason you done it. Good stuff mate 👍
Some idiots that live in their mums loft, it's all fun and games! Thank for watching 🙏
Same idiots in their cardigans on the dole saying immigrants welcome. Despite 90% of them being rxpists and criminals
The same naieve brainwashed idiots who hold signs up saying migrants welcome
Probably because he dared to voice concerns about migrant hotel down the road, as you're not allowed to talk about it in a free and open country.

Great info, I'm single with my own pension and still waiting for the state one😊but good info gives me a start point 🙏
Good on you and your family. Respect
There were law changes around 2005 regarding the hereditary rights which changes it for people born post 2005
You ask why?

UK is getting more unsafe, especially with illegal migrants whose backgrounds are unchecked. You did the right thing to move out of UK.
But the whole of Limassol now is controlled by ISIS and TALIBAN…YOUR MOVING CLOSER TO THOSE PEEPS…
Simply ridiculous
The Turkish part of Cyprus is worse. This Greek part is nice
And Spain is also unsafe due to too many English criminals living there, this is why the Spaniards are protesting in Majorca, Ibiza and Canary Islands and want the English gone from Spain
What are your thoughts on the English criminals living in Spain?
Thanks for the information was very helpful. We are both retired and meet the criteria….so seriously going to look into this, unfortunately this country ( UK) is shot to pieces. Serviced in Cypress whilst in the army, great country. Many thanks

Can put you intouch with my lawyer, but you'd have to reach out via the Nutters In Cyprus Facebook page.

England is now Hemland. (Haven for Economic migrants) I lived Cyprus for two years whilst in the Army. Always said I’d retire there. Cyprus has its share of immigrants as well but I don’t think the package is anywhere near as attractive as in the Uk. Hi there, watched a few of your vids now. Thanks for the shares. You are doing a great job and it is positive to take advice from your experiences. I wish you all the best. When the time is right, we too will head away from this sinking dingy.
That blue sky and sunshine is PRICELESS 😊
I’m 47 now and have a decent company pension. I will be leaving the UK when I retire. Sooner the better
Good luck with the future move!
Thank you very much for this mate. Take no notice of the jealousy bro. You know you’re doing the right thing for you and the family.

Thanks Graham, yeah we looked at moving to Cornwall but Cyprus just pipped it at the finish line...
Pay attention young people ☝️☝️☝️👏
Liberals? Globalists are the culprits.
I would argue both.
You could always leave her there mate 🤣 I'm a red mate 👍

@Oldhamteve52 ah, the days of Joe Royle
That bench is becoming famous now 😉
Lol 😆 🤣
@pup6728 where can i read the comments online? Which forum?
I think the cost of living side of things is a hot topic world over.
Yes yes brother, coming over in 7 weeks and sorting out my family of descendants form , big up geez
Bump into you soon no doubt mate
Thanks for sharing your thoughts really appreciated I didn’t realise it was that simple to retire to Cyprus I’m now left wondering why I’m still here in the uk 👍😂👍
I'm glad it was helpful! Just make sure you take legal advice. I can help with that via the Nutters In Cyprus Facebook page. Hope it all works out 🙏
Great you're in Cyprus one of my favourite places. My only concern is the UK base Akrotiri
and what may happen with our support of Israel. However, it's still a good move as here we are sinkng fast. Lots of luck to you and your family.
I've subscribed. Interesting & informative. I may of missed it but does that figure 28k Euros apply to single people as well?
@@dmc9487 no think it's about 24k for single, but could be wrong
Interesting video and food for thought…..👍
Great videos, I find them really informative for a person who loves Cyprus & is becoming increasingly frustrated living in the UK. Ignore the haters, I think there's a lot of green eyed monsters..... Any chance you can do a review of the area you're living? The bars, restaurants, beaches & the surrounding areas.... That would certainly be helpful, keep up the good work & congratulations on becoming free & having a better life, maybe 1 day I'll join you.....
Hi, if you go to my channel and click videos, you'll see about 38 videos that all show the local area and restaurants 😀
Or just type in Nutters In Cyprus on your search bar and they'll all show up 😀
Another priceless vid offering up real-time, pragmatic advice, thank you - I look for your vids every time I’m on toob … we’re coming over early next year part holiday part reccy with a view to a permanent move
Ps ignore the detractors, it takes no effort or intelligence to moan and berate others for trying to improve themselves…as they say jealousy makes you nasty - ignore or delete their comments
Pps - keep up the great work 😎
Cheers Lee, nice 1. Yeah It's all a good laugh, some of them are funny to be fair 🤣 reach out on Nutters in Cyprus Facebook page if you need any help with anything nearer the time.
Much appreciated! I binned off facebook years ago will get your contacts off the page somehow 😊 if you’re in the area when we’re over will buy you a beer 👍
Thanks for your informative videos, block the trolls
The trolls are fine. I actually read them and some are funny as anything 🤣
Thank you for the video. its very helpful.
Well said mate sod the haters , this country is turning to sh*t , I've watched most of your vids they are very informative 👍i would love to move away given the chance.
Google,
"what's the immigration criteria for (insert country)"
Then just find the one you fancy and that's closest to your situation...and go for it.
Great video, thank you for taking the time to explain this.
@@tightlinessteve thanks for watching 🙏
I'm a Yorkshire Lad, That moved to Manchester and lived in areas from Old Trafford to East Didsbury. One thing I can confirm is I never met a racist Manc. All my mates were different race to me growing up and still are. but I still love them. Just found your vids, loving them. BALLS to the haters. Keep up the good work MANC.
Nice 1 mate, yeah, I have worked for 2 black charities, but that part doesn't count 🤣 Literally had a fight in school for sticking up for my mate because someone called him the N bomb! But as the trolls have said, I'm the devil 🤣 take it easy mate!
@@NuttersInCyprus Balls to them, carry on living the life and doing the vids. I love that somebody can say I've made my own money and my family are living the good life.
I think you are a good guy sad we lost you from the UK hopefully the government will take on board we are losing you guys. I'm retired so thanks for the info and you are doing what's best for your family. We live in a suburb and in the last couple of years the area has gone down hill. The NHS are asking what they can do to improve the service you stop giving free treatment to people who haven't paid into it.
"Sinking ship" spot on mate, good luck
Sunk mate.
Well done with your move especially when you also have kids x
hi mate sorry you're getting all this BS from all the jealous Btds I'm in my 70s worked all my life you keep doing what your doing to support your family you come across as a grafter love your vlogs keep them coming good luck to you and your family for the future.
@billywilson7426 Cheers Billy! All the best 🙏
@@DavidAJ-h3e 🤣 cheers David, enjoy living the dream 🙏
Great video, so would I be correct in saying that a single pensioner (on uk state pension) could live on around £1200 per month in Cyprus?
I would think that is too low, but I haven't ran the numbers. Maybe it's possible, but feels low at as I'm scanning the comments.
