Not sure if anyones gonna see this question but just wondering, how is his trickblade hitting most of the map? Mine just hits a few mobs on 2 platforms sometimes even just hits the mob in front of me.

For some reason I never thought to stay at weaker monsters to prioritize drops, but I've definitely made a good bit of money staying at Bubbling's. Just hit 28, and I've made more meso than I've ever had at this level. Thank you so much for this video!

training bowman and a lot of those mobs have high wep def. is kinda hard to two shot them at those levels. instead i went for low wep def monsters and it works

So dope to see your return for Artale. Would be awesome to see you give a refresher on gearing our characters - everyone knows 60% ATT = bussy but the value in like cape, shoe, earring scrolls make some unique routes. Headed to Masks @ lvl 36 now 💪

Ngl I wanted so bad to like artale but the channel system is so jank it’s crazy. Trying to play with friends seems impossible when every channel is full on top of switching channels taking a god damn millienia 💀 literally any old school private server provides a much smoother experience with the only downside being player numbers

MapleLegends is much better at this moment. Arttale feels like a mobile game . The animation feels glitchy

I stopped playing after advancing to a Spearman. If they fixed the jank UI and updated all the mobs to be accurate, alongside allowing more than one character, I would stay, but i'm just gonna wait till MapleLand gets their global release. (Also wish Worlds supported Linux, so I would not need to switch between that and Windows...I'm just not a fan of Microsoft nowadays lol)

I’m really happy with Artale so far. It’s been really fun reliving the nostalgia training on maps I used to as a kid and having the knowledge I didn’t back then to be more efficient. I also like the QoL with 2x exp especially with how slow it can still feel to level and as a sin not having to worry about recharging my throwing stars/getting multiple sets. I also like the auction house, I have fond memories of chilling in the free market trying to buy and sell stuff but I really don’t want to deal with that anymore, I remembered when playing other mmos back in the day being like damn why doesn’t maplestory have an auction house.

I wouldn't say the best classes are so cut and dry in Artale considering the class changes, currently a Crossbowman sits at the 2nd highest level player in the server. Probably would've been worth mentioning in the video instead of just going over what's typically the best in vanilla oldschool, but otherwise very helpful!

50 person a channel needs to be bumped up heavily . It impacts the aliveness feeling not seeing anyone

i never experienced a osms experience: i joined maplestory when reboot first released so i was very unfamiliar on why its so beloved. i’m 30 hours in; i get it now. the fact each bit of meso is precious, every item is considered and worth getting: you have a reason to walk and explore maps. i’m glad they implemented such QoL changes because i don’t think i would’ve enjoyed the gameplay as much in a pure vanilla state: but like its genuinely fun. i love and appreciate modern maplestory’s flashy skills and beautiful art: but the simplicity of osms is just better in terms of gameplay. maybe its power creep?? maybe power creep is a problem and most items in the modern game aren’t useful anymore.

The way you see mana as a cost is how I see it too... I also look at pushing my gas pedal on my car as money too, that is why I NEVER BREAK unless I must because that is just throwing out irl money. Also taking the foot off the gas is a GREAT way to save money, you see that red light ahead, just chill. Why rush to stop?

I don't really understand the MapleLands vs Artale debate, imo at least original maplestory was way too slow, it's one of those thing people THINK they want, until they get it and then they play for a bit and end up quitting, which just to be clear, I'm gonna play MapleLands for as long as I feel like it, but I feel like Artale will be better if the quality is the same which I read people saying Artale is clunkier. I also was wondering about updates since both games have been out in KR for a while now, did they ever get things like new areas, new classes etc, or even new content that wasn't ever part of original maplestory?

Quests not only give decent exp, they align with the common grinding areas you listed. I even got a couple scrolls i was able to sell at the auction and had a cool 400k by level 30. Also fame and potions! Pqs give some scrolls and equips too like slime shoes as well

I started around 6th grade as well, at least a year before pirates. First character was mage who I got stuck at level 12 and abandoned. Then made an archer, abandoned at 23, then a thief, made it to assassin alllll the way to 54 this time. Abandoned. Finally, when Cygnus came out, I made a night walker and made it all the way to 120 for the first time. The story continues, trying more classes and ditching them, over and over. Each time making it further. We never quit. We just take breaks. So glad maple worlds is out now to relive old school maple in an official way.

Gonna be honest, I was an Artale doomer day 1 and 2 saying the QoL changes and 2x XP were bad, calling the game an unfaithful flash game and saying it's a waste of time if everyone's going to switch to Mapleland anyways. Sunday I stared at my computer in boredom and realized all of that stuff is irrelevant and if I have fun playing the game then I have fun playing the game. I logged in, made my assassin and for the past 3 days I've come home from work and played non-stop into the late evening and I'm having more fun playing than I've ever had on GMS or any game I can remember in the past few years. The only thing I regret now is taking the launch so cynically and wishing I just hopped in and played instantly with everyone else. Awesome to see you're back and posting some videos!

i honestly prefer osms with QoL changes. i hope they continuing implementing QoL based on community needs and not be afraid to experiment with creating original content that would fit the osms vibe

Artale is better if u want to play as assassin/hermit/nightlord, the quality of life stuff, especially the annoying and inconvenient summoning rocks, is so nice.

artale seems to have a neat blend of core old-school gameplay and modern QoL, they did a great job
