- In this video, we do a deep-dive analysis of the GMS vs. KMS Vac Pet schedules. Having a Vac Pet is the biggest quality of life update for Reboot, one that makes me want to never go back to not having one. Hopefully, Nexon can increase the frequency of Vac Pet releases for GMS Reboot to help make this a #BetterMaple.

Interesting theory, I think this is true for Red Cards in Reboot but not for Vac pets. Personally I think it's just a FOMO strategy.
I thought about that too, but why wouldn't they want that same FOMO feeling for KMS Reboot? Maybe different audiences? Hmmm
whoever manages gms cash shop rotations is doing a terrible job. they could very easily be making so much more if they just had someone to put what players want into the cash shop each week... it really makes no sense. it really feels like they are trying not to make money. i would rather they just follow kms releases and updates exactly and i think so many issues could be avoided and remedied.
Agreed. There are so many things players want and ask for, but they don't care. I wonder why...
I’m surprised that reboot is the “easy” mode to play the game. In RuneScape , Ironman mode was supposed to be a challenge for players to play and people who can and will whale in game is the easier way to play the game .
Yeah, but it's kind of complicated. Early game Reboot is VERY hard in comparison to Reg server... Mid game Reboot speeds up a LOT in comparison to Reg, but then in the late game Reg server is faster.
I'd say that Reboot vs. Reg server is like comparing two different games.
Reboot plays like League/DMM mode, special ruleset and modified drop rate/meso
One question tho , am I right to say once I purchase vac pet it’ll be perm ? And also is it worth to purchase one vac pet instead of three ? Will it work the same With 1 ?
It’s permanent (meaning you never have to buy another vac pet) but you have to revive it every 30 days after the first 90 day period. The water of life to revive vac pets will always be available in the cash shop, whether or not the vac pets are in the shop at the time. Also, you do not need 3 vac pets to farm effectively. 1 will be completely fine for all stages in the game. People usually only get 3 vac pets if they want them for the FashionStory
I would have bought vac pet on 3 different occasions IF they were in the shop, they were not and on all occasions I took a break from the game, thats -300$ for nexon. Im sure I am not the only one.. This cant be FOMO strategy because time window between the sales is so long most people quit/take a break and miss the sale anyway. Whoever is in charge of that is a baboon.

Riot Skins Concept, the longer you dont have it, the more likely you going to spend when its available , or if you cant wait youll spend on other stuff while you wait. A la the valorant skin store, over 600skins but only 4 randomly are available to buy a day.

I mean, overall if GMS wipes off Frenzy totems from Regular server?
Regular servers would surely just cease to exist for the most part.
Also as a reg server player. I'd honestly rather take reboot's 300k NX for 3 pets, than 300k NX for 2 failed attempts on reg and nothing to show for it.
Yeah, Frenzy really does motivate a good chunk of the population to stay in Regular server. Thankfully, KMS Reg has never experienced Frenzy totem, so they have more hope of reviving Reg server than GMS. I feel like GMS Reg has little hope.
And yeah, I personally don't mind the cost of the vac pets for Reboot. Also, you only need 1, but I understand if you wanted to have all 3 for the FashionStory element, because the Little Death set does look very nice :)

How far are those 5 characters? In the grand scheme of things, 5 characters is nothing... eventually every mid to end game player will have 40+ characters on their account for Legion purposes. You're not in too deep; you should come to Reboot!

I don't understand. I don't understand why vac pets can't just be perm. They already cost like $200-250 in reg servers and are really costly in reboot. I think for the amount of money they cost, that they could just make them perm pets that don't require more nx to revive. Afterall, how many games where you kill enemies so quickly, force you to manually pick up money??? Literally paying tremendous amounts of money for a basic QoL in almost every other game. AND I'LL STILL PAY if it was true perm. Everytime I want to get back into MS I just can't get over the disrespectful greed.
I am going to go off of prior posts in that KMS doesn't give a flying fuck about GMS.

I invested 200$ in cosmetics, and 2100 hours into the game over 3 months last year, during that time i had the free 3 month vac pet from 6star event, I didn't realize you couldn't just buy a vac pet. As soon as it expired i began to hate the game, and within a few hours and realizing i COULD NOT BUY a vac pet, i uninstalled the game. I havn't played since and I plan to never play again. Making the game completely miserable to play WITHOUT EVEN THE OPTION to pay to get the item that makes it feel normal is atrocious game design and I hate that I ever even gave money and time to this trash company.
At this point, I truly believe Nexon is purposely trying to kill GMS reboot. I would rather they try to monetize some aspect of reboot than making it a worse experience in the hope we move to regular server. People won't like me for saying it, but selling red cards for the same NX price as in regular server works in JMS, they could do it in GMS.
Possibly. It really makes no sense to me. As a business, I'd try to ride the hype and juice as much profit from what is more popular at the moment, which is obviously Reboot. All good tho...
