As an AC fan who’s been playing since the first game, I can see that Ubisoft is actually making a real effort at being back the old play style of the first AC games. They’ve confirmed that they’re improving stealth parkour and combat, traversal, etc. you name it. We need to be focused on making sure this is a good game rather than “oh no black instead of Japanese when I can still play as Japanese”

It maybe a distraction on Ubisofts side. To make people talk more about the character and forget about what they said gamers not owning their games then slowly get people on their subscription if people actually want to pick the game up, they would buy subscription of ubisoft connect, which for one game is cheap and they are betting on people would forget they had subscribed, each month would pay for the subscription.

@@ytyj5thrh118 As I said, the leads are all usually from the location. In Syndicate, they had two English leads. They didn't have an English woman and a Jamaican man, did they? Likewise, in Odyssey they had two Greek leads. I'm sure some Japanese fans are fine with the decision, but clearly some are not.

@@diggity9982 How am I simping for DEI exactly? By saying that I'm not against a Ysuake game? I'm not. Nor am I against a William Adams game. (If you don't know who he is, he's the famous white, English samurai.) And I'm not against a Last Samurai game where you play as Tom Cruise, either. Those are all valid concepts for games and not necessarily related to DEI.

That's completely dependent on the state BlackRock is in. If there're many AAA companies obligated to follow DEI policies for a good ESG score, chances are that as the financial losses mount, the loans they receive start to dwindle. Ideology is a trap, moreso for Ubisoft than it is for us. Let's hasten their downfall and support more deserving IPs for the foreseeable future.

Forget about making a great game, a lead writer that is leftist and has her pronouns in bios as she/her, you can already expect they added their politics and views into the game. You should be worried they will start including lgbt flags into your games soon enough. For what reason? politics. Cuz it makes no sense for it to be in games other than politics. Whenever they try to influence you in games and add their views on it, its politics mate. "Lets replace white asian protagonist with black one cuz they aint diverse enough", typical western politics. The Japanese people didnt even get asked about this, no wonder why and they obviously mad about this. Ubisoft dont care about their culture, they are not even allowed to get mad about this according to them even tho its their own country and history. The western policits is just forced upon them and its why they started cutting off ties with them.

If they're now choosing to use a real person as a protagonist instead of "set dressing," then it does come off as disrespectful to use someone relatively inconsequential to the nation's history, especially someone who clearly wasn't shinobi in a series specifically about assassins.

10 mins in the game and i was hooked on it, You made the right choice because ghost of tsushima is a good open world game.

When I own a console again I'mma buy both of games. If I ever get to play. We know how fixed are commical economy life is to expensive. So maybe after working two jobs and paying off my debt, I ll get a chance to understand what the video depicts and add my two cents lol😅 😂
