Some kind of stupidity apocalypse is going in current world, why don't they just create new IP inspired by Warhammer with their ideas, it's like we live in times where brands are doing everything to push away fans and customers.
they are like parasites. They are not able nor they want to create anything new. And they desperately want new generation to accept all of that. I can say they succeded partly, but still many people dont like it.
So sick of the girl boss trope. Us wimmin are fine. Us gals that love comics, Star Wars, Warhammer & Who fell in love with the OG versions. All this retconning & new 'representation' is just embarrassing, we didn't ask for it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. All EVERYBODY wants is well written stories, no lore shattering retcons (which are just attempts to gaslight us) & dark villains & heroes who get better & learn as the stories go along. The Doctor is an enigmatic, mysterious male alien who saves the day. Politics shouldn't come into it. When can we have our Sci-fi back? The world is so grim at the mo, that's when us people need out escapism the most.
Completely agree. My problem is, by doing this they just make people with actual problems look bad. There are real issues to tackle and help diversity but this isn’t it. When something’s history is a women, it’s left alone but when it’s a man is problematic. How do people think that’s equality?
@@aquariumlad23 It's not equality is it? The pendulum has swung too far now. These extremists expect equal rights except when it comes to things like conscription. Plus it undermines & makes people unsympathetic to the genuine struggles which have been overcome. Same with everything, a few extremist nutters spoil it for the many. You just can't have it both bloody ways, can you? I'm not a Gamer but I've signed that petition because death threats & fawning over orgies in one game, yet saying another game is offensive because of the clothes is just mental.
most movies have politics embedded in them. all movies are telling of their directors and writers. it’s just inevitable. things only feel more political now because: a) things from the 80s and 90s are nostalgic to you and you overlook (or genuinely are too stupid to see) the political or moral thematic undertones; or b) you just disagree with the politics in newer movies so it stands out to you more. which if so, please, just be open minded and stop turning your brain off to watch media.
