The fortunate thing about this is that the anime and manga industry is highly competitive with well defined genres. Disney and the other megacorps could ruin quite a few series but the independent studios and creators will climb over their enemies' corpses to get to the top. It is the gaming spaces that I would be more worried about. Consoles are essentially an oligopoly in gaming and are far easier to corrupt.
I just hope enough people contact japanese anime companies using translation software to tell them in Japanese, that they don't want divisive western political influence ruining the industry with DEI and ESG not supported by the large majority of the people in the west who enjoy the anime and like anime because it isn't western media destroyed by divisive western politics.
