on the table it looked like catted pipes? did those go on with the exhaust? did those throw a code? also link to fuel trims relearn hp increase? Would also like to see a 500 or 1000 mile dyno to see if the computes went to a different table and HP went back to near stock. I know for the LT camaro platforms 2018 and higher several tuners witness this with just bolt on and no tunes.
Offroad test pipes which came with the Valvetronic exhaust. No CEL. Trim reset made no diff after 500 miles. Which I expect. Don't believe everything you read. Ty for checking out the vid.

@floridahighperformance awesome ty
Aux pump ?
@@abezo6 during the testing on this package, no…although my low side pressure was starting to drop…it was still adequate enough to support the high side. I recently added a head cam package and an aux low side.
Hi Eric, I’m interested in buying everything in need from you to make my 2019 ZL1 the same as bad pumpkin. I’m in Australia, can you remote tune it? Thanks. Anthony.
@@AnthonyFabris-c3i sure email me sales@flhighperformance.com
Fantastic explanations. I've had a 19 zle for about a year and a half now, and have just been afraid to start touching "larger" modifications beyond intake and exhaust due to fear of things breaking. Had an FK8 Type R for 5 years before the camaro which was FBO and tuned, and was nothing but issues. Overheating on the track, and blew 2 head gaskets. Out of everything you've done, what would you say are 100% safe upgrades youd reccomend? I daily the car and track it. I was thinking headers as I'd like a little more noise than my AWE touring cat back gave me, but not sure.
7 hp is 7 more hp. Thanks for the video.
Shouldn't that be the other way around. If it's a luxury, shouldn't be , it's what you want not what you need?
Yeah I think he meant to say performance is a want not a need therefore a luxury that comes with a high price tag
Yes- didn’t have my coffee yet. Should have said “it’s a WANT not a NEED”.
Peitz did my flex fuel mod and picked up 35 rqhp (calculated for dynojet from mustang dynos) on a bone stock 2021 Z51. Cost was about $4,800, but the bang for the buck on the C8 was the best I could come up with. Unlike my C6 and C7, as the gentleman stated in the video, it's not your uncle's C7. The cost to HP Tuners alone was $1,600 for unlocking the ECM, $400 for credits, and $400 for a MPVI3 module. So before Alex even got started, the cost alone to HP Tuners was $2,400. Then the DSX unit is a must have when going to E85. I just felt the flex fuel was the best bang for the buck for unlocking some rwhp.....................now if someone could come up with a safe line lock that wouldn't crater the computers in the car, that would be great.
I’m in Ft Myers Cape Coral area, may hit you up for some work on my C8 Z06.
Eric You recommended Manson pushrods, can you comment on dia. and tip style, taper for a ZL1 w/Johnson Lifters.

@@ITHINKYOULOST thank you! We have more coming- including interviews with industry leaders and associates
I had a set of hooker headers on a 1971 C3 454 back in the day. I regretted it soon enough as the heat and the, "header ringing" made any drive longer than an hour a tiring experience. I mention this as i ordered in May of 2015 a C7 LT2 8SPEED 2016 Z51 STINGRAY. I got it with 3 miles on it and now have 14k miles. I have an opportunity to receive a set of stainless steel 2018 C7 Z06 exhaust manifolds. My question is would that flow well enough to work with the "working mans" set up you did at your shop instead of headers ? I tried wrapping the headers to contain the heat but the heat caused the headers to crack and fail.
Hello. First, nothing will outflow a longtube header. No, manifolds will not work well with the set up that Jimmy has. When you force air in, you need to allow it to get out. That is what header scavenging does. Second, high temp ceramic coating is absolutely the way to go. I despise header wrap. Save that for motorcycle exhausts and hot rods. Modern performance vehicles deserve a lot better. Ceramic coating (like Jet Hot), will help to protect the surface of the steel and reduce radiant heat into the engine bay and tunnel. Almost every single vehicle we modify get's headers, half of which get coated...I have ZERO complaints or issues on heat or noise with this set up. ERIK
Lots of great advise. Thanks!
Thanks for your comment and watching!
I met Eric. He actually fixed my girlfriend’s damaged transmission and rebuilt it everything he says in this video and how he is and how he runs his shop he preaches what he talks it makes me want to buy a Camaro or Corvette if you guys have problems with your car take it to Eric. Great video and a lot of work here. I know because I have paid to get all these parts installed on my 2024 HTC Z06. I would love to see what happens after the reset of the long term fuel trims.
What lap times and top speeds would you expect this car would be able to reach?
You nailed it man. I am definitely guilty of lacking in customer service after 20 years in this industry. It definitely takes a toll. Thanks for putting the last few videos out. They have opened my eyes back up to where I’m falling short.
Nothing wrong with stepping back- reevaluating your operation, and making changes. Good for you for recognizing areas for improvement- and actually giving a shit- keep your head up and stay on the path!

Great advice Erik!!! Can’t stress enough the CYA. Erik was kind enough to help me get going with this, and opening my eyes on the importance of an attorney vouched liability waiver. Doesn’t matter how good and thorough you are, things happen, and modifying cars will ALWAYS carry an inherit risk. Save yourself from future headaches, and potential liabilities (I’ve seen it with my own eyes, it can get nasty) and CYA!!! Set expectations!! Be clear and upfront. Under promise and over deliver!! Great job Erik in educating folks.

GOOD LUCK AND MANY BLESSINGS! If you need anything hit me up - Erik
For making 900 wheel c7z which is better, magnuson 2650 with dsx port plates or this with harrop port plates.
BOTH will do the job. Harrop is taller than the MAG, and their port plates are thicker...so hood clearance will be an issue more so with the Harrop than the MAG. MAG will ALSO have hood clearance issue with port plates, but you can run aftermarket billet lids with the MAG and that helps. The Harrop port plates hide the rails beneath the blower...which is pretty trick. Hope this helps....
The car really wakes up mid range for sure after the intake and throttle bodies! Throw the Soler Throttle controller it’s awesome. Having the Corsa track exhaust with HF cats is another level for sound cannot imagine the kooks installed. Next !!!!
Ok so all show and no go. Won’t waste my money. Sending my blower to Kong anyway.
Man I have a C8 Z06.... WHAT are those wheels and specs?!? Please let me know if possible!
BC FORGED- that’s all I know
Shame that car doesn't have black rims or at least black lipped rims. They would definitely set it off. I have Forgelune 3pc on my Hellcat with custom powder coated inlays and they really help and look great with the black car
How is what wheels he has a shame? That's what the owner chose and I think they look pretty damn good! Everyone and their mom has black wheels nowadays, and nobody in this comment section gives two f's what car and wheels you have. Smh.
Great job guys!!!! This should be the standard by which all other comparisons are measured. Good stuff!
If you were to race two of these with the exact same mods / driver weight would they both be about even or would a "monday car" like this one lose? Really considering selling my c6 z06 for one of these and i'm kind of surprised how low this car was compared to the others. Great video!!!
@@jarrettsherry3072 all I can tell you is this….despite the low baseline…the car is fast as shit. The client LOVES it and has raced several fast cars- and has beat or hung with all of them. It’s a different ride compared to a c6 z06…you’ll miss the punch of that LS7 but love the additional 1500 RPM!!!
Didn’t watch the vid just stopped by to dislike and say to you for why you would destroy a already perfect car, that’s the point of the zl1 but aye your money

A lot of the bolt-on videos I've seen don't see much beyond about 20 wheel up top, but they see like 30-50 wheel torque in the low and mid-range.
