Thank you. Nice to hear when I have numbskulls saying it's too long...get to the point...unreal when I literally could keep ALL of this information to myself like most shop owners do...
New to muscle platforms. Hoonigan after midnight and some circuit track days. Shopping ZL1 1LE like yours & GT500’s. Curious where to invest for the return on performance? Absolutely love your vids and explanations. Thanks for the effort, editing, graphs, pics, and education. And transparency. Sub’d long ago. 😂. Looking for a company car to drive social media to my company, Shifts & Giggles.
Thank you and welcome to the dark side. 100% buy yourself a newer Zl1 1LE. Manual or auto, although manual is more raw IMO. Basic bolt ons will be more than enough power and the car is cheap to maintain...fun to drive...and looks damn good...but you know I am biased LOL! Thanks for your sub! ERIK
I am amazed by the level of attention of details in your build. Some people have unlimited $, and can pay, but that still doesn't mean you get the best service. My ZL1 will be paid for in a year, my car will get a katach oil pump, 2650, and new lifters, Im on the fence on a cam after BTR racing statement on the LT4 and LT5 cam video of recent video (factory cam is already aggressive). I'm building a twin turbo 1972 chevelle, T56 magnum, etc guys like me thank guys like you because we see what works and what doesn't. So thank you and your videos are not long at all, I'm learning ! Thanks from East Texas, and looking forward to that 2650 and 427 !
The irony. I am a shop owner in Massachusetts, we work on the same type of cars, have the same dyno, both our “shop cars” is a gen 6 camaro zl1 1le CRUSH orange. But i will say this… i have a very similar setup, but kong x port and stock heads, and our custom grind cam. Im up almost 20 hp and torque with only 24 degrees timing on a similar oxygenated fuel, didnt see much gains past 24 degrees. similar looking curve but im sure the DA is more favorable up here in Massachusetts.
@@MLVmotoring sounds like a stout machine. The Kong X port will produce more peak power than the Jokerz usually. But Jokerz has more of a punch down low. Either way this car is wicked fast! Thanks for the input man much appreciated. I went to school in Mass when I played hockey back in high school…
Awesome power on stock blower! I'm sure an expansion and HX upgrade would go a long way for consistency... I noticed you have the carbon fiber aero effects but haven't swapped to the diode dynamics LED side markers? Those would look great on this car!
yep- all coming soon. Yes I was blessed with some Anderson aero parts. I might consider the side markers...TY for checking out the video. God Bless. - Erik
Great build and information Erik. How do you feel the performance mod for mod would differ between an auto ZL1 and Auto C7 Z06?? Will the Z06 always have the one up because it is a lighter car??
Thank you. Couple folks on here mention that I need to "get to the point". If I did that, there would be no information...it would just be results and that's it. Glad you found it useful. Mods would be identical from the Z06 to the ZL1...even the cam would be the same. That is the beauty of this package for the LT4....it flat out works. Yes, the Z06 feels more violent with these mods as it is lighter....I will say though that my ZL1 with the 1LE package is quite the monster on the road!
OK I have a 2019 camaro zl1 with some modifications but want more so what this setup cost?My car is baby orange and I like to drag race her.Having issues with race program on car it gets corrupted. Launching is another problem in itself because I need to leave harder.
Ported LT4 Heads from Late Model Engines in Houston TX. Pretty much our standard head we use on most of our builds, unless an aftermarket casting is required. When we install the LTr 427, we will be using CID Heads.
Thanks for watching. Thank you for your feedback. This was just one of those videos where the information takes time to get out. I agree, I would love to get to the facts faster, but without the guts of the episode in there too, there would be no information sharing. Problem really is lack of attention span in most cases. People want instant gratification - like IG or TikTok. If that is what you are looking for, head over to my IG page. I have dyno vids and results there without any of the actual information as to how it was done. Like it or not, I will continue to EDUCATE and SHARE my knowledge on the subject on my YT videos...otherwise it does no good for those out there who really are looking for clear and concise information.
I thought you guys gave up on this build, glad to see you’re back

@ Thought I saw “pumpkin” for sale? Maybe that was wishful thinking. Favor manual for more smiles. I’m looking hard.

Bad punk’n is BAD. God I love this color 🍊
THANKS! Yeah the color just hits different on this thing...
Awesome! But how will the clutch like that power?
Stock clutch, being multi disc, holds well. Will upgrade to a triple with new engine...
