Finding $1000 Worth of Gold in One Crevice
Welcome back to my secret river, a rich gold filled stream hidden deep within Tasmania’s west coast rainforest.
On my last trip in here I found a nice pile of gold, as I worked a deposit sitting right below my camp.
Then as I went exploring for the source of the Phantom gold, I had no choice but to turn around as I came across some large waterfalls.
What I didn’t share with you though, was something that caught my eye leading up the hill on the way out..
This trip, I return to follow the pink tape, which finally allows me to test above the falls, and I take home a chunky bounty for my efforts..

Magnet Fishing Australia’s OLDEST Bridge
Переглядів 61 тис.21 годину тому
In a sleepy little town, way down the bottom of tasmania, lies an impressive arch steeped in history. For decades it was the longest span of any bridge in Australia, and at over 2 hundred years old, it is the oldest bridge in the country. In this video I head down south to visit this historic landmark and give my new magnet from www.bondimagnets.com a good test, bringing some a piece of history...

This time, I’ll be exploring further, and I uncover some amazing ground hidden right underneath my nose. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride, as we take on the Wild West...

Footprints Discovered on Tasmanian Tiger Expedition (Thylacine)
Переглядів 230 тис.2 місяці тому
After days in the bush we discovered footprints which match those of the Thylacine also known as the Tasmanian Tiger. The Tasmanian tiger has long captivated the imagination of mankind. It was with us through all time, then seemly disappeared into thin air.. but with millions of hectares of uninhabited land, Tasmania’s wilderness holds potential for a remnant population of this fascinating crea...
Finding $1000 Worth of Gold Every Day
Переглядів 992 тис.3 місяці тому
I’m out here camped in the wild reaches of Tasmania’s West coast, searching for alluvial gold. In my last episode I found several cracks which were packed full of small nuggets. Today I'll be heading downstream, to work some of the crevices that are otherwise unsnipable. The gold will be shiny, chunky, and plentiful, but will I be able to beat my last trips tally of over 22 grams?
Finding Gold Nuggets In Wild Tasmania

In this video, I’ll be venturing deep into the wilderness of Tasmania’s cool temperate rainforest to search for shiny gold nuggets. This river I’ll be visiting has proven time and time again to deliver amazing gold, and thanks to its remoteness it has long been guarded from the advancements of the modern day prospector. #goldprospecting #goldennugget #losttreasure

Remote Expedition in Tasmania Leads to a Huge Discovery

In this video I head out the wild and remote region of the Frenchmans Cap in search of a lost historic landmark. Many parties have searched for the landmark and it has been incorrectly identified for several decades. I'll be traversing over vast button grass plains, and climbing over mountain ranges with dense jungle like vegetation in the pursuit of correcting this long lost treasure. Instagra...

There has never been an easier and safer time to explore and see our wild places than right now. And on this video we’ll do exactly that. Im heading into a new area to explore and prospect for gold. Every indication is telling me there should be good deposits along the river, so I’ll be travelling 20 km downstream and testing along the way. #gold #goldprospecting #nature #discovery #tasmania

As much as i love watching your vids Rob, Unfortunately through this platform our Gummit sees what money you pull out of a river and will seek to put an end to it . I would never put a monetary value to whatever gold i find even how little i might find , i think it gives a wrong message to the wrong people .

Rob, back before the advent of GPS exploration companies would contract professional line cutters to put in a grid for reconnaissance. They would cut through fallen logs and horizontal etc marking the line with tape. Goes would then walk the grid mapping outcrop and collecting samples to build a more complete picture of the areas geology. The lines could also be used to do geophysical surveys. Alluvial gold is not really of interest to exploration companies they want to find a large source so mostly these surveys come to nothing but the tape lasts for a long time. But you know all that because you said you had read the company report. Love your work.

Rob, if you haven't already in a previous video, please show us how you refine or process your gold after you arrive home. May I also compliment you on how well maintained your equipment is? Your weight scale is a perfect example. Clean and pristine. Unlike other channels where equipment is covered with contaminates and debris. A mark of a true professional, in my view.
