Finding $1000 Worth of Gold in One Crevice
Welcome back to my secret river, a rich gold filled stream hidden deep within Tasmania’s west coast rainforest.
On my last trip in here I found a nice pile of gold, as I worked a deposit sitting right below my camp.
Then as I went exploring for the source of the Phantom gold, I had no choice but to turn around as I came across some large waterfalls.
What I didn’t share with you though, was something that caught my eye leading up the hill on the way out..
This trip, I return to follow the pink tape, which finally allows me to test above the falls, and I take home a chunky bounty for my efforts..

Magnet Fishing Australia’s OLDEST Bridge
Переглядів 61 тис.21 годину тому
In a sleepy little town, way down the bottom of tasmania, lies an impressive arch steeped in history. For decades it was the longest span of any bridge in Australia, and at over 2 hundred years old, it is the oldest bridge in the country. In this video I head down south to visit this historic landmark and give my new magnet from www.bondimagnets.com a good test, bringing some a piece of history...

This time, I’ll be exploring further, and I uncover some amazing ground hidden right underneath my nose. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride, as we take on the Wild West...

Footprints Discovered on Tasmanian Tiger Expedition (Thylacine)
Переглядів 230 тис.2 місяці тому
After days in the bush we discovered footprints which match those of the Thylacine also known as the Tasmanian Tiger. The Tasmanian tiger has long captivated the imagination of mankind. It was with us through all time, then seemly disappeared into thin air.. but with millions of hectares of uninhabited land, Tasmania’s wilderness holds potential for a remnant population of this fascinating crea...
Finding $1000 Worth of Gold Every Day
Переглядів 992 тис.3 місяці тому
I’m out here camped in the wild reaches of Tasmania’s West coast, searching for alluvial gold. In my last episode I found several cracks which were packed full of small nuggets. Today I'll be heading downstream, to work some of the crevices that are otherwise unsnipable. The gold will be shiny, chunky, and plentiful, but will I be able to beat my last trips tally of over 22 grams?
Finding Gold Nuggets In Wild Tasmania
Переглядів 56 тис.3 місяці тому
In this video, I’ll be venturing deep into the wilderness of Tasmania’s cool temperate rainforest to search for shiny gold nuggets. This river I’ll be visiting has proven time and time again to deliver amazing gold, and thanks to its remoteness it has long been guarded from the advancements of the modern day prospector. #goldprospecting #goldennugget #losttreasure

Get ready for another adventure searching for alluvial gold deep into the uncharted wilds of Western Tasmania. I’ll be visiting one of my favourite rivers, where In previous videos I have found several ounces of gold lining its stream. This time I’m bringing some new gear and I’ll also be trying and work some of the ground out of the water which hasn’t been touched since the old timers left thi...
Remote Expedition in Tasmania Leads to a Huge Discovery
Переглядів 91 тис.5 місяців тому
In this video I head out the wild and remote region of the Frenchmans Cap in search of a lost historic landmark. Many parties have searched for the landmark and it has been incorrectly identified for several decades. I'll be traversing over vast button grass plains, and climbing over mountain ranges with dense jungle like vegetation in the pursuit of correcting this long lost treasure. Instagra...
Parks and Wildlife Service Dig Their Own Grave

In case you missed it, Earlier this week parks and wildlife service were dumb enough to publicly highlight to all, its blatant double standards. An act so stupid it resulted in a public lashing, of a size not seen since the dawn of our convict beginnings. There has never been an easier and safer time to explore and see our wild places than right now. And on this video we’ll do exactly that. Im heading into a new area to explore and prospect for gold. Every indication is telling me there should be good deposits along the river, so I’ll be travelling 20 km downstream and testing along the way. #gold #goldprospecting #nature #discovery #tasmania

Richmond Bridge is fantastic! The convict built bridge at Ross is not as tall but way more beautiful!
Where's the rest of the horse?!?
Simply WOW on 5he drone shots of the waterfall. Masterful Cinematography!!!
Beautiful forest, Mate! 6:26
I've said it before and I'll say it again, simply incredible views!
Mother Nature's Art Works.
What do you do with the gold you find?
congratulations...definitely not a rookie anymore...
yep...u caught the permanent gold fever
side cover from an old car or truck hood....
cutting down trees an leaving them on the ground reminds me of a LZ for helicopters.
Great gold🌟👍🏴
^5!
Quite the hike up the mountain buy like you said, now you know. Nice haul for the time you spent. Thanks for the video.
This scenery is a beautiful to me, it’s soo lush. It’s like the rest of the world’s response to Avatar. I’ve been all through South America and seen rain forests and the like, but that backdrop is straight out of the Paleozoic era
Such good camera work and such good details...it literally gives you the sense of being there 👏...plus that sort of experience where you could go out and find gold yourselves by following your guidance... Excellent, thanks for sharing....you are blessed to be in that part of the world 🌎
Good!
Under the water fall in that pool rob
Hey guys, check out the stone centre screen at 9:38. Looks like a green sapphire to me.i thought I saw a piece of green corrumden earlier
Hey Rob, depending on how close you are to the Florentine logging forrest those tapes could well be used to mark cave tracks
Is it true that you aren’t allowed to sell the gold rob?
It's probably an old fire trail from a wild fire.
As much as i love watching your vids Rob, Unfortunately through this platform our Gummit sees what money you pull out of a river and will seek to put an end to it . I would never put a monetary value to whatever gold i find even how little i might find , i think it gives a wrong message to the wrong people .
Love your videos . Great adventure mate. Regards from PNG❤❤
Why don't you excavate under the waterfalls gold sinks there
Ever think that pink tape is old logging coups
Great vid with answered nagging questions ey. And you found another Lost track. do you ever consider taking more maker ribbon and dropping in a few extra along the tracks?
They sent prisoners to Tasmania and also to Australia, interesting.
That looks like draft horse show. Fairly big
Go try meadowbanks near ouse. It's down due to dam repairs
Great video as usual Rob. I do a lot of off grid walking in the Otways. That pink tape looks about 5 years old to me. It deteriorates real quickly in rainforest area. Ive come across my own years later and it was nearly gone. Keep up the great work 👍
Been in Hobart for over a year and still haven't been to Richmond yet...😅
Odd...not 1 piece of gold. Maybe next time
My goodness! Look at all the gold-bearing quartz under the surface!!! Wow a great looking spot to bring back some rocks to crush down for the fine stuff!
That pink cloth was used to lure females into the area by male sasquatch. Happy to help😂😂
Glad you explored up that little feeder creek, one of these days you'll find the one thats feedin the gold and it'll be a banaza!
No camp site +. Right into it
Nice Trip to the River Rob!!
Rob, back before the advent of GPS exploration companies would contract professional line cutters to put in a grid for reconnaissance. They would cut through fallen logs and horizontal etc marking the line with tape. Goes would then walk the grid mapping outcrop and collecting samples to build a more complete picture of the areas geology. The lines could also be used to do geophysical surveys. Alluvial gold is not really of interest to exploration companies they want to find a large source so mostly these surveys come to nothing but the tape lasts for a long time. But you know all that because you said you had read the company report. Love your work.
I am interested in from where you sourced your magnet and its kg capacity! Thanks!
I love watching Lance Stroll prospect for gold!
👌
The shots of you sniping under water remind me just how peaceful it is underneath the surface... And laughingly remembering how I've almost drowned twice because I forgot, ....uuuuuH.. *I* DON'T BREATH WATER !!! LMAO 🤣😂
I like to think for every piece you find jammed in a crack ,, that it's a tiny piece of a BIGASS boulder of gold that smacked the granite on it's way down stream... And I'd like to find THAT boulder! 😁 Love your vids, ... Dude,, I'd never leave... Well maybe here and there for family
Get some brother!
Have to admit I can't tell the gold from many of the stones you ignore on camera, density must be how you tell them apart
Very good show thank you
What phone are you using?
Thank again Rob for a great 45mins of adventures. You posts are one of the highlights of my week!
Rob, if you haven't already in a previous video, please show us how you refine or process your gold after you arrive home. May I also compliment you on how well maintained your equipment is? Your weight scale is a perfect example. Clean and pristine. Unlike other channels where equipment is covered with contaminates and debris. A mark of a true professional, in my view.
