I can't imagine flying into Bangkok and then leaving within 3 days with a child. Then flying to Phuket and only staying 3 days. Dealing with the distance of the airport alone would be a pain. Just my own personal experience traveling with my daughter... I'm not going to the airport, flying and then checking in somewhere... Then repeating the process 3 days later. Not sure why you consider this "a relaxing pace". Maybe for backpackers who are interested in just going to the most places without really taking in the city. This itinerary is not for families traveling with children. 4 Thai cities in 18 days. Even without a child, this is traveling quickly. This is a trip to and from the airport + a flight every ~4 days. Cut this down to 2 cities in 18 days. No reason to run all over the country just because there are nice places to see.

I have a 19 hour layover at dog airport . Would I be allowed to stay here for that time frame ?

Never. Repeat never buy your SIM at an airport of any description.

Get your True SIM from the airport 7/11 so much cheaper, Use bolt Taxi which is cheaper too they collect you outside on the departure floor

I've told you before all exchange at train line Bangkok airport all give same rate just some do not give more for larger value notes, but the difference is not worth the long queue we are talking about 2 or 3 dollars per thousand. I stay near the airport and use it all the time, and I check the rates each time. You didn't mention money card like Wise, where you will get an even better rate.

Whilst Super Rich may give better exchange rates in the street, all the exchange behind the rail link give the same rate so no need to queue, but some do not give different rate for higher value notes so no queueing. In Bangkok, Super Rich office give the best rate of the day but have large queues and often the difference is only a dollar or two on say 1000 dollar, so is the travel to Super Rich worth the hassle. I travel to Bangkok a lot, so I know this, but I still look at Super Rich and then check the others.

I normally like your videos, but not this one. It just feels like an 8-minute complaint video. While a couple of your points are valid, like the use of plastic and littering. What else are you actually doing to help, other than complaining about it? I mean, anyone who has ever traveled to the country, yes all 28 million of them last year, knows there is littering and overuse of plastic. So does a video help, is it "enough action" to make a difference. Obviously, it's not. So what real action have you taken to improve the country?

You are right on all your points! Except the music from the different bars, cafes been very loud. I like that it’s loud chaotic somehow coming from Europe it has its charm somehow and its so different from quite Europe even though I always walk away to avoid the sound still love it😂

I stayed in Chiang Mai the whole month of January 2023 and totally fell in love with it. I ate Vegan at Mayas cheap basement food court EVERY day, there was a HUGE variety of food for VEGANS there. The average price for the meals were 40 Thai Baht = Aprox 1 USD in 2023. There was something new to do EVERY day there and one month was NOT enough time to spend there. I plan to go back in January 2025 and stay 2 months.
