Welcome to Thailand and you will be the first YT to know that the airport name actually pronounced "Su_Wan_Na_Phum"😊 It's sansakrit language influenced. Have a good trip. Bye.
Great video mate thank you 🙏 now i know what to do and where to go i am honestly so uncomfortable while reading some of the comments if something is wrong they can just write down correct information without causing a seance again 🙏
I’ll be going on my own so I’ll get the airport rail link I think rather than Taxi. With the Sim you’re given a package so you have take your home SIM card out and keep that safe?
Hi! That's it indeed. I've got a dual sim so could keep the other one in as well. Maybe also check put e-sims. Didn't cover that in the video but heard go stories lately. It's like a digital extra simcard.
I really wonder if this is for this package from True. This is 5g, unlimited data, 30 days. We also see this price on their website. We do know of cheaper ones from other providers or with different speed or limited data for sure.
@@alittlesunshinewithjayandbee Not sure but i was there last year and the same deal for 400 baht in town, and in airport it was 800 baht so do think they are over charging in airport it has increased by 400 baht
I always choose the Ais package, and i haven"t gotten better price from 7/11 stores, and i think the price is ok anyway. When it comes in taxis, they often try to charge more adding different extras, but i have solved the problem by ordering a taxi in advance from a reliable company, although i travel a longer distance where the price difference can be bigger.
Tried to figure out quite a few times that where did you reach to pay 330 Baht in taxi! Guess we'll have to count on 35 minutes=330 Baht! But it will be helpful if you can mention your destination.
Hey! It's 330 + 60 for the tollway + 20 per big bag or suitcase. Said that at 9:10 but better to ad the numbers on the screen next time to be more clear. I see that we didn't do that here. And we went to Bangkok Old Town. Mentioned earlier in the video. It's an area, but the price should be about the same as what we paid, no matter where you go in Bangkok Old Town.
Hey, leuke video.
Succes!
Hi! Hard to say really. We heard there are places that may even have slightly better rates, but have no experience with them. You might also want to look into Wise card. Didn't cover that in this video, but it's supposed to have no transaction costs and good exchange rates.
Hi! For us it was free. Some countries do have to pay 2000thb for the visa on arrival. You can find the details on thaiembassy.com. It is cash only and has to be paid in Baht. Not sure if there are currency exchanges or ATM's before immigration. To be safe, it could be wise to exchange it back home.
Did the SIM card cost 1200baht for 30 days or 3 please and is that for unlimited Wi-Fi connection coming on Monday for the 1st time am nervous wheelchair user also can you use hotspot with that for other devices please
Haha that would be something. Most important is we have fun and can help our viewers have the best travels :) India or China would be awesome. Actually talking about China for next year. Who knows! ☺
Hi! We do it mostly, because we don't want to carry around a lot of money. But the ATM isn't the cheapest. We have a video on this you might want to check out. It's called: Avoid this mistake getting money in Thailand 🏧 We go into different options and what it costs us specifically.
Whilst Super Rich may give better exchange rates in the street, all the exchange behind the rail link give the same rate so no need to queue, but some do not give different rate for higher value notes so no queueing. In Bangkok, Super Rich office give the best rate of the day but have large queues and often the difference is only a dollar or two on say 1000 dollar, so is the travel to Super Rich worth the hassle. I travel to Bangkok a lot, so I know this, but I still look at Super Rich and then check the others.

Thanks for the feedback! That's unfortunate. Was it the background music during the talking? Or louder music in between segments? We can take that with us for future video's.
@nickvegas2459 That would be interesting. We do have a video on exchanging money vs getting money at the ATM (with and without conversion) but not Kbank specific.
Really poor misinformation. You are not getting a visa on arrival, you are getting a visa exemption. Chinese and indians get and pay for a VOA. Most other foriegners get a free visa exemption.
You're right, there is the visa exemption program, correct. Most important is to tell everyone what they can expect after landing: we get a stamp, it's free, it's for 30 days. And this is because we're Dutch. In other words: if you're from another country, this could be different for you. We want to be understandable for everyone and this is what most people call it. Yes she deceitfully replied, so I bought an alleged months worth of data and calls etc, only to depart on the bus and find that it wouldn't make international calls and the data lasted only 10 days and they charged me 11-1200 baht. Are there many food outlets on arrivasl?
Good question. We were trying to refresh our memory. Certainly a few. Wouldn't say many. But enough to get by!
Report the car plate to AOT if you got an offer fixed price from their taxi. AOT will fine them.
No need for that. People try to make an extra buck here and there. We're here to give tips not fines 😉
always use superich exchange myself but i would never buy sim card at airport, far cheaper in shopping malls
Thanks you can indeed get deals and we sometimes just want to be connected right away as well :)
