We hope this video can help make things a bit better. Again, we love Thailand, but let’s also keep talking about how we can keep it as great as it is. There’s always room for improvement.
    We discuss:
    1. Trashcans & Littering - Keeping it Clean:
Let's discuss a crucial issue: the scarcity of trash bins and the abundance of littering. Our trips have highlighted this problem. The solution? More strategically placed trash bins to preserve the streets and natural beauty.
    2. Plastic Use - Reducing Plastic Usage:
Plastic is everywhere, especially in markets and stores. It's time to address the excessive use of plastic plates, bags, and cups. Let's break the cycle of plastic packaging within plastic bags.
    3. Noise Pollution:
Thailand's love for music sometimes leads to competing tunes at various venues, creating noise pollution. While music adds to the atmosphere, let's find a compromise that allows us to enjoy the melodies without overwhelming noise.
    4. Overstimulating Kids - Kid-Friendly Spaces
How are the playgrounds in Thailand? Children's play areas often bombard them with sensory overload. Let's tone it down, providing calmer surroundings for kids to play and explore peacefully.
    5. Accessibility for All - Ensuring Inclusive Adventures:
Is Thailand inclusive? Is Thailand an easy place to move around when you are handicapped and therefore less mobile? Thailand's streets need better accessibility features for everyone to enjoy this amazing country fully. Whether you are less mobile because of a handicap, pushing a stroller or another reason.Let's work towards making Thailand equally enjoyable for all, regardless of mobility.
These reflections stem from our genuine affection for Thailand and its people. We're not just highlighting flaws; we're trying to nudge towards positive changes. Let's aim for a Thailand that not only dazzles with its beauty but also offers an enriched, inclusive travel experience mindful of its surroundings.

You are right on all your points! Except the music from the different bars, cafes been very loud. I like that it’s loud chaotic somehow coming from Europe it has its charm somehow and its so different from quite Europe even though I always walk away to avoid the sound still love it😂

If you don't like these things, then don't travel there and complain! Remember, it's still a developing country.

We love Thailand. Trying to nudge towards positive changes is not complaining in our book. We just hope we can make it an even better place than it already is. Even said that literally in the video :)

I normally like your videos, but not this one. It just feels like an 8-minute complaint video. While a couple of your points are valid, like the use of plastic and littering. What else are you actually doing to help, other than complaining about it? I mean, anyone who has ever traveled to the country, yes all 28 million of them last year, knows there is littering and overuse of plastic. So does a video help, is it "enough action" to make a difference. Obviously, it's not. So what real action have you taken to improve the country?

Hi, thanks for commenting and happy to hear you do like our other videos. We take your feedback seriously. To answer your question, we do what we can in Thailand and other than that, this is of course our platform. Not huge like other channels, but still, we can weigh in a little bit on the agenda setting on these subjects. Every little bit helps. So in what we can do, pointing out these things and suggesting solutions is actually also an action we can take. Hopefully next video will a better one for you. We'll do our best :)
