Thanks for the Malaysia travel videos! They all look fantastic! I have a question: As a traveller who's planning to stay for a few months, let's say 4 months or more, which type of housing do you recommend? I'm kind of curious 🤔
Hello, thank you for your comment, we appreciate it! 😊 Good question - it depends on what your budget is, and whether you're travelling solo or with other people. Apartment rentals are affordable in Malaysia, giving you a lot of space. Hostels are a more affordable option, and are a good way to meet other like-minded travellers. Susie

beautiful video ❤️ I already visit most of the place in Kuala Lumpur. 🥰🌹

I just found your channel. You are one of the few who don't usually show the hosts eating, talking, or looking at something Seems to be all about them. Frustrating for me. So thanks. Other "no host" faces. "Side trip life", "Buzzing Pattaya", mostly, "Edgy Expat". ( But sure you are beautiful, of course).
Haha, sure thing! We aren't ones to be shown on camera (apart from the odd shot) we're more 'take a shot of me walking from behind' kind of people 😀
Wonder video. Thanks for sharing.. how long it will take to cover all these places?
Hello! Thank you for your comment. We were in Penang for 10 full days; 5 days in Batu Ferringhi and 5 days in George Town. You can definitely do it in less time, and have a few more action-packed days. We suggest visiting for a minimum of 7 days if you can. Hope this helps ☺️ Susie

Hi guys, great video! We are going to Madeira in June, do you recommend staying in Funchal and another town (ideally in the other side of the isle) or only in Funchal as the main base? Thank you for your tips!
Hi Claudia, thank you for watching our 7 days in Madeira travel video :) We recommend staying in Funchal if you want to be near the heart of the action. Funchal town is great; you can visit the market, see the street art, wander around the town and eat at the many restaurants on offer. The promenade is also fantastic! If you're looking for a more relaxing, holiday atmosphere, Lido is also a good option too. You're close to the beach, and the hotels are generally larger and have swimming pools. We've also created a travel guide on 50 of the top things to do in Madeira on our channel, if you want to check it out: ua-cam.com/video/mYIsgnTC5fA/v-deo.html Also, we have a written guide on where to stay in Funchal, with a list of the best hotels here: worldtraveltoucan.com/where-to-stay-in-funchal/ I hope this helps! Have a great trip :) Susie
This is the best video I've seen of Kuala Lumpur because you actually show the attractions! Sadly, many UA-camrs show their own face more than the attractions they're meant to be featuring.
Thank you, Timothy. We're all about making helpful, evergreen travel videos for our viewers, that'll help plan an upcoming trip. If you need any advice planning a trip, or need any more information - just ask :) Susie
Great videos, been to most of the places you show. Wow how things have changed in a mere 15years! 😮
Thanks for watching, David! No doubt it will all change again in the future 😀
Paraíso . Cuba é FANTÁSTICA
Heard about jellfish stinging issue on beaches. Did you heard about it from locals or any related experience. Is it safe to travel in June from Jellyfish risk perspective
Hey, is there jellyfish issue in langkawi..
Hello! Thanks for stopping by and watching our video. Unfortunately yes, there are jellyfish in Langkawi. Depending on the time of year you visit, you may see more or less of them. You can still enjoy the beaches in Langkawi, and perhaps still go in the water - but just keep an eye out on the jellyfish that come to the shore 😊
@@ToucanTravellers can you please suggest if there is high risk of jellyfish in may end and June early as I will be travelling with my 7yr old
@@balpreetkaur9951 May/June is the very end of Langkawi jellyfish season so there's a chance you'll find them on the beaches, but only near the shore. However, you may not find any at all on some beaches. We recommend using water shoes on beach days.
Beautiful
Thanks for this
You're very welcome. Let us know if you need any travel advice or help 😊
Great Video. May i ask to share day wise itinerary please? Thanks much 😊
Hi Raj, thanks for your comment. Are you going for a week? If not, how many days are you planning on going for? Also, are you going to be renting a car, or will you be doing tours? Susie
@@ToucanTravellers Yes please we will be renting a car & we will be Arriving funchal on 28th May @ 7am & Will be departing on 2nd June @ 6am. Appreciate your pointers Cheers 🍻
@@rajnaidu8401 You're going to have a great time! :) Here's our suggested itinerary. Day 1 - 28th - Funchal city centre in the morning. Afternoon - Funchal Cable Car to Monte Palace Tropical Gardens and Botanical Gardens. Day 2 - 29th - Madeira’s east coast - Praia de Machico, São Lourenço walking trail, Guindaste viewpoint, Santana town. Day 3 - 30th - Madeira south coast - Câmara de Lobos, Cabo Girao viewpoint, Ponta do Sol, Paul do Mar waterfall, Praia da Calheta Day 4 - 31st - 25 Fontes walking trail / Risco waterfall, Fanal Forest, Ribeira da Janela, Porto Moniz, Seixal Beach Day 5 - 1st - Pico do Arieiro and the Valley of the Nuns - Remaining Funchal sites in the afternoon. For each day, take it slow and see what you can. I’ve packed lots into the itinerary, but you might not be able to see everything in one day depending on how many walks you want to do and how long you spend in each place. You could remove a full day for rest/relaxation in Funchal and still see a lot if you follow the itinerary on the other day. It all depends on how much you want to do. Have a great time! Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@ToucanTravellers You are truly the best. Much Love ❤️ 😍
A stunning video. It's so informative and interesting. The tips are so helpful to people planning trips
Thank you for the kind comment. We try to make our videos as informative as possible for the viewer 😊 Thank you for watching!
I would like to visit KL and Penang soon😊
We'd love to go back 😁
Ancient history lovers should make the relatively short drive to Dikteon Cave (park your car in Psychro village, and then make the small hike up to the cave - wear good shoes as the path is not the easiest to navigate as you near the top! On the way back to the village take a drink and bite to eat in one of the village cafes/restaurants overlooking the valley). Dikteon Cave is purported to be the Cave in which Zeus was born (or, more specifically, one of two caves on Crete which purport to be the birthplace of Zeus - the other being Ideon Cave, though Dikteon Cave is the far more beautiful and interesting cave). Of special archeological interest is that many small statues and other religious items ("votive" offerings) were excavated at Dikteon and predate the emergence of the Zeus mythology by more than 1000 years. Because of the numerous religious offerings predating the classical Greek gods, this cave really DOES feel like the birthplace of Zeus. Couple this with a later trip to the island of Mykonos with a short day boat to the smaller religious sanctuary island of Delos and visit the lake in which Zeus' children, Apollo and Artemis, were born for a truly "family affair"!
You have the most amazing videos. Thank you.
which month did you go?
We visited Madeira twice. The places we visited in this video are from a combination of our visits in both March and November, both great months to travel to the island 😌
I have visited KL 6 times and did all the places in the video. The city is amazing and I'm going again in July on my 7th visit to Malaysia
Wow! We can see why you keep going back. We loved Malaysia and KL is a very special city. Hope you have a great time 😊
I'm going also in this July!! It's a very nice and described video ❤

Portuguese wall tiles are a big part of old architecture. Nice thing about them is the owner never needs to paint them. Paint stores don't like them. I was stationed in the Azores on Terceira. The main cities(places I visited) of Praia da Vitoria and Angra da Herosimo are both similar. Angra has an ocean side fortress, an old Cathedral and both have tiled buildings with orange rooftops.
really well done video

One of the best video about Penang's scenery & foods, I have subscribed and keep up the good work!
Thank you for the kind comment, we really appreciate it. We hope we did Penang justice with our video ☺️
Nice video. Are 2 days enough to cover the spots you showed in this video along with water activities? Do they accept credit cards in langkawi, if not, what should be the ideal Ringgit currency to carry here for 4pax? Thanks
Thanks! We're glad you found it useful. You can visit a lot of the sites we listed in the video in 2 days, though you really need around 4 days to see them all. For 2 days, we recommend seeing the Langkawi Cable Car and waterfall one morning. You could then do an afternoon half day island tour. The second day could be allocated to Kilim Geoforest Park and Tanjung Rhu Beach. Most places accept credit card but you might need a little bit of local currency for market stalls and small shops. You can book a lot of activities online or on the day.
@@ToucanTravellers Thanks. This helps.
what month did you travel here as the weather looks absolutely perfect?
We were in Langkawi at the end of January/ early February. They're the best months to visit we think. Not too humid 😊
