Apartment rentals are affordable in Malaysia, giving you a lot of space. Hostels are a more affordable option, and are a good way to meet other like-minded travellers. Susie

Here's the breakdown of 4 days/ 3 nights in Ipoh: RM 568 (100 GBP/ 128 USD) - 3 nights @ Ipoh Travelodge RM 170 (30 GBP/ 38 USD - Grab taxis RM 450 (80 GBP/ 100 USD - lunch, dinners, snacks, drinks RM 228 (40 GBP/ 50 USD - attractions It's just an approximate cost for us, but it can be more or less depending on where you visit, which hotel you stay at etc. Hope it helps :)
