Very Impressive Fix, these are the kinds of problems that doom cars to the auctions. I'm currently working on my diagnostic process, and I feel there is no way to catch this without a TSB or community help.

My 2008 town and country has that problem. I had to add a length of wire to each one. I soldered them and left a loop of wire so it could flex without breaking again.

was hard to watch lol got lost a few times lol but im having lose of coolant and its winter time, trying to find a leak is hard just did alot of work so far, radiator, thermostat and heater core flush, might change water pump within the week 12/30/12 so then i just noticed my fans aint coming on after it reaches normal temp. omg lol

Very common problem. I've known people to replace motors when the window was slow and what it would be was only 2 or 3 strands would still be connected inside the door flex. Especially if it's an older vehicle or one that makes a lot of short trips, the wires catch hell from all the flexing from all the opening and closing

ACC (active cruise control) uses front radar which this vehicle is equipped for. I do electrical on crashed damaged vehicles on a daily basis and the "repairs" that you see boggles my mind. There is a lot of mentality of "she'll be right" attitude.

I got the xtool D8 almost 3 years ago.. and it did NOT come with topology.. but then about a year later, it suddenly had topology after doing one of the updates. Also, you could only graph one thing at a time.. Or you could "combine" 5 things on one graph.. Which were both kinda terrible.. and then another update made it to where it could at least run 6 mini graphs on one screen. So that was a huge improvement. It's really weird that they would take away topology though, if it came with it originally...... Unless it wasn't actually released yet, and you just had a developer prototype or something, to test........ I got the D8 for seven hundred (with 3 years free updates; but that was 3 years ago now).. I've seen it since, on sales for well under 500 sometimes.. It's definitely worth it for that price, if you can find it anymore. I see that they really only offer the D8s now, which has more battery and more ram and a few other things.. The software looks a bit different now too - with the "all blue" color scheme. so it's back up to the higher price range.

the amp clamp to find a draw in a bundle of wires is definitely one that I'm bringing into 2025.

maybe the engine replacement and computer don't match with respect to California emissions - seen this before.

I had the same thing happen to me on a Nissan Pathfinder, while diagnosing cam shaft codes. starter went out on me and I go to my service advisor and im like it needs a starter, and he looks at me like i had 3 heads. It is what it is, part of the job. hahahaha. Nice Work!

People really mess their vehicles up (or other people's)... by cutting into wiring and screwing everything all up with aftermarket garbage or just plain stupidity.
