- We have here a 2006 Toyota Avalon which just had the whole dash out to fix a leaking evaporator. After it was put back together the A/C controls are blank and the fan wont turn on. Enjoy!

I had a customer bring me one of these after evaporator replacement, no compressor engagement. luckily I was able to see the evap temp sensor was open circuit on the scan tool (-40 reading). The problem was finding where it was after everything was reassembled! 😁 Junction box of tiny little connector on the right handside behind the glovebox, one was left unplugged.
Do a complete user review on the scope you’re using sometime? How to navigate through the menus
I use the same scope. Can't figure out how to navigate the settings. Good thing it has auto selection. Sure is a handy tool to have. Has helped diag many problems, that would have been a nite-mare. A vid on the menu options would be great!
@@scrappy7571 just bought one too and coworker after I showed him this. A lot of functions trying to figure out how to use I bought the hantek leads for $13 a piece seem pretty durable and are 9 ft long.
My first thought on seeing the first 2 seconds of the video:
HOLY SHIT!
🤣 I had the same reaction!
When a car is torn apart like that charge accordingly . Thanks for sharing. 👍
What a mess that was. Good job making rhyme or reason from that!
Great video I think I would have passed on that car.
I hit that thumbs up symbol on your segment. Looking forward to see your next one from you. Excellent post, Advanced Level Diagnostics. Carry on the good work.
Thanks!
Great job as always.....wonder if it ever even needed an evap core to begin with I'd assume so because it would be really hard to mix up a module and ac component...you never know.
Maybe a servo motor is not pluged in, or they removed it from the box and didn't properly align it. On toyotas (at least after 2011), if a servo motor doesn't work properly, the system will stay in diagnostic mode for some time and won't turn on. Also you might need the center dash board (information display) connected for the a/c to work, that is where the diplay for the temperature/mode etc is located.
That still would not make the amplifier not communicate.
Sweet!!!
Love your videos but plz make it slow. Its very hard to follow... And explain litile more so we can learn❤
Thanks, I always try to slow it down and in my head I'm explaining it well, until I edit it I realize I went to fast again 🤣
If video is too fast for you, just change the playback speed to 0.75x from the tools menu. If you want to live on the crazy side, watch it at 2x.
@@cezar7740 you don't understand😅
@@cezar7740 but you are right👍
@@advancedleveldiagnostics if its not for a video i wish i could think fast like you.. So cool😋
Keeping us waiting loooooong time on video bro😅 we need more content 😊...nice work cheers
Sorry I was in a UA-cam slump, working on getting out of it😄
Earlier this year I had a 2011 Sienna and the owner said he had no heat or a/c. The control module was fine with powers/grounds but I traced it back to the amp behind the glove box. Since it was winter, he didn't want me to replace the defective part.
Come summer I guess the 96°F + got to him and I got another call. The amp fixed it.
Lol in 96 degree whether the A/C becomes the most important feature of the car😂
That's a very deep dive for a used car dealer on a vehicle that is 18 years old. Lesser men would call it a day.
I think it was the customers personal car but I can be wrong.
Good job working in the rain and all keeping all of your equipment from getting damaged. Love your videos. Keep em coming😊😊
Thanks 👍
wow now that was a tough one . done a few of those “taken apart” jobs back in the day and they are badass . especially if your not so familiar with the car . do other things need to be plugged in to make it work and all that good stuff . but as you did you got to follow the data and sometimes trust your gut .great job my friend
I'll bet there's a screw or two left over after the shop puts this one back together.
lol you're probably right.
Been waiting for a new video 👍🏻👊🏻
Hope you enjoyed it!
Very nice,I did the same in a Nissan Sentra Altima, helps to mark the connectors with permanent markers and different colors (many of the connectors can be similar each other)
That's because they rush and then claim it wasn't related to their work and you get charged the cost of a used car going to 5 different places
What a complete mess
FIRE!!!
Can I ask that Panasonic tablet where can I buy it ?
I get them used on eBay for $300-$500 Panasonic toughbook cf-33, if you can find look for the 7th gen over the 6th gen.
18:20 the devils horns.......almost every one on youtube......kinda sad in my opinion ...... Jay
WTF! Out of the whole video, that's the only thing you comment on?
@@bernardocisneros4402 yea...so...you are ok with devil worship and a 1000 years in hell...that is ok you ? ...but you can comment on the Variable displacement compressor ...of not testing the valve electrically ...and not pulling a vacuum with out a micron gauge.....you can do that...and that would also be a good place to start....so have a happy day Jay.
