I did pick a couple up recently as I wanted to do a brew day on a bank holiday and Dark Rock are exceptionally fast at shipping parcels out for next day delivery. Customer service is also amazing and yes the kits are very good! I just know for sure that I could put them together for far less considering you can get LME for as little as £3.40 / kg. Great video, and the beer looks & sounds fantastic. James Morton is spot on about alcohol being a good carrier for flavors (and bitterness). For that reason I keep my calculated IBUs in the 30s since I mainly brew session-strength pale ales and there's not enough alcohol in them to carry a lot of bitterness. On a 6% pale ale / IPA I'll go as high as 60 IBUs. Cheers! 🍺

Have you tried propagating yeast from bottles? Butty Bach, Proper Job, Fullers Bengal Lancer and 1845 are bottled with the primary yeast and I have had success growing the yeast with all of them. Put a bottle in the fridge for a day or two, decant most of the beer, swirl the last few cm's into a 360ml 1.020 starter and scale up from here. 1.040 SG is typically recommended for starters, but 1.020 is gentler on the yeast.

I just had the last pint out of the keg, and it had cleared a bit more. Cheers!

Pleased to see you use spotless water, I have made 3 batches so far using this water and perfect for building that profile. Great beer by the way
