- Here I tackle the Tiny Rebel Urban IPA recipe printed in the Jon Finch book "Beer Craft: The no-nonsense guide to making and enjoying damn good craft beer at home".
"This was one of Tiny Rebel Breweries first IPA’s. Kind of a classic American East Coast IPA style with resinous, dank and spicy flavours and aromas."

Crisp Pale Ale Malt (3600 grams)
Weyermann® Carapils® (100 grams)
Crisp Munich Malt (120 grams)
Crisp Crystal Malt (100 grams)
Flaked Wheat (100 grams)
Columbus Pellets (77 grams)
Chinook Pellets (90 grams)
Cascade Pellets (40 grams)
SafAle™ S-04 11.5g (1 packs)

Nice looking beer, and it contains three of my four favorite old school "C" hops - Centennial being the fourth. They really do sort of work in harmony. I don't think I've seen Mr. Finch's book before so thanks for highlighting it. I'm always on the lookout for good brewing books. I write a lot of my own recipes too, and find brewing books to be a valuable resource for cross-referencing recipe formulations, etc. Plus they're fun to read, especially the older ones. Cheers!🍺🍻
