One nice tech you can add to the deck is Defense of the heart + Threefold thunderhulk + Purphoros God of the Forge as finisher. Each works well individually in the deck but can be game ending when triggered with each other. Defense of the Heart tutors the other two into the battlefield at the same time. With Bello out, Threefold is a 7/7 that produces 14 tokens with ETB/attack. That triggers a total of 30 damage against all opponents as early as turn 4. As threefold generates lots of tokens, it can also be a defensive card which can help you block damage or threaten lethal if it rotates back to your turn.

Neat build. I hate the conspiracy win con. I play a few tutors. 17 instants to control the game. Hatred, phyresis and tainted strike for my instant win cons. This deck really has a lot of ways to win but man hatred has won me so many games its kinda nuts.

Romana 2 is quite underrated. I use them with the Sixth Doctor for all kinds of cloning hijinks. One of my favorite things to make, in order to bring peace to the table, is non legendary token copies of God-Pharoahs Statue. LOL The last time I pulled this off I got 4 copies in play before people accepted the peace I had brought to the game: Everyone Lives! Except the manaflation is so high no one can cast anything anymore ;p LOL

A quick note about the extra combat sorceries at 5:55 - Most of these don't work with the Shoryuken ability. World at War is an exception(and DOES work), but most extra combat sorceries specify being cast during a main phase in some way, which cannot apply because Ken's ability triggers during the assign damage step of the combat phase. There's nothing stopping you from hard-casting those spells in your second main phase because you saved your mana due to Ken's freebies, but you will be disappointed if you think Ken is going to let you skip out on paying for them. I figured this out the hard way, so I want to share it so you guys don't have to.

With thraximundar there is a nice synergy with vihaan goldwaker you have a bunch of treasure tokens go to combat they become assassin creatures swing with trax then sac those treasure assassins to pump him up before damage

Artificial evolution would have been perfect in here for it lets you change the text of a creature type, so instead of Assassins, you can do zombies, eldrazi, etc.

its very good to use auras instead of artifacts because of the low mana cost to attach them plus you can use warehouse tabby to basically recycle the snail and rats! hope this helps

Stop pushing white to gain more stuff, as a person that plays more than just commander this is annoying, it's commander play's faults for what happened to green anyway. So don't complain. Green sucks now in some 60 card formats because of this.

This is still one of my favourite commanders; something about it just scratches the happy parts of my brain(no shortage of Street Fighter II nostalgia, I suspect). While our Equipment-heavy mindset for Voltron is comparable, I went a bit of a different direction with the sorceries. When I was a kid, Ken's signature uppercut was commonly known as the Dragon Punch. So I built it as a Dragon's Approach deck. This gave me access to Thrumming Stone as an alternate win condition. I will always love punching for big spells, but Voltron strategies can be fragile, and with stuff like Locket of Yesterdays and Ruby Medallion(I am wholeheartedly on-board with artifact protection/recursion), even if Ken turns into a focused target on the table, Dragon's Approach can get pretty damn close to free.

I think you've nailed it. Focusing on auras is a safer strategy, also you can draw more cards with the enchantress creatures. Going full spellsinger you often run out of gas if you don't combo and there's no permanent protection like totem armor.

Do lands with everything counters on them count as a gate for mazes end?

You and I were not too far apart in this list. Initially in my rough draft I leaned really hard into artifacts (Myco / darksteel / disk) and brought back old friends like daretti, and KCI loops, but it felt like i was just building mono red artifacts with extra stuff. so i shifted into enchants. I have not abandoned the artifact list, but need to do a mental reset instead of building an old list with a second color.

I am so in love with the idea of this deck I am building it right now. But in my opinion you can skip the toy and use the Yugioh Cards right away since cards are basicly toys :)

Looks like a great build! I was surprised not to see Farmer Cotton, since Haymaker doesn’t care what kind of token you are tapping. OTOH, maybe not being an Instant is too much of a downside. 🙌

Nice take on Bello, I was so excited when the little Rocket Racoon was announced. My take on Bello is more centered on artifacts, specially the ones who leave creature tokens. Big mana rocks and extra combat cards. The other day I had unnatural growth, a double-strike granting enchantment and I used a World at war, it was insane. Are you using the new elemental which provides cascade to your enchantments? It seems amazing. I would like to test a lot of things, big mana rocks, enchantress, afinity artificats, modular artifcacts, extra combat, double damage, vehicles, there are plenty of toys to play with and many routes to go 😊 I call my deck "my trash is my treasure, don't mess with it!" XD

Are you sure Nyxbloom Ancient works like that with the land auras? It has a replacement effect that modifies the amount of mana a land produces when tapped but Market Festival is a separate triggered mana ability. relevant Gatherer rulings : You’re “tapping a permanent for mana” only if you’re activating a mana ability of that permanent that includes the {T} symbol in its cost. A mana ability produces mana as part of its effect. (2020-01-24) If an ability triggers “whenever you tap” something for mana and produces mana, that triggered mana ability won’t be affected by Nyxbloom Ancient. (2020-01-24)

Sorry final update to make the combo work: 1. Play R&D Secret Lair. 2. Resolve five copies of Animate Object - one for each Exodia piece. They enter as non-token creatures with their corresponding names and rules text intact. The Secret Lair disables the errata which turns them into tokens. Important note: these are not Magic cards so any rules that refer to a "card" do not apply to them. 3. Cast Clone Legion to make a token copy of each Exodia piece, these will retain the rules text and are now tokens. 4. Cast Claire D'Loon to make all the tokens Magic Cards. 5. Cast Evacuation to return all the token-cards to your hand. Since they are now cards, R&D's Secret Lair's effect applies to them and you play them as written.

given that baylen gives so much card advantage upon playtesting my own I found that additional card draw almost isnt worth it in favour of just more gas and protection. you just tap all you untapped tokens before your untap step and draw cards. I would include atleast one of the overrun cards becuase without them parity breaking can be kind of rough.

Im excited to build this bro and your videos always make me hype to brainstorm the decks im working on.
