Other cards to consider Myrel, Shield of Argive Scurry Oak Basking Broodscale Rosie Cotton Myrel will shut down a lot of interaction and can make tokens each time it attacks. Basking Broodscale and Scurry Oak are good token generators if you can get counters on them. These combo with Rosie Cotton. Basking Broodscale will go infinite with Tarrian’s Soulcleaver, as it has the same ability as Sadistic Glee. You will get infinite tokens from this if you have another permanent that makes additional tokens each time you make tokens.
Looks like a great build! I was surprised not to see Farmer Cotton, since Haymaker doesn’t care what kind of token you are tapping. OTOH, maybe not being an Instant is too much of a downside. 🙌
First raised foil I pulled was Baylen. I think Im going to build a high power low tier cEDH version with all the good naya token infinite combo stuff with a bunch of card draw and tutors.
given that baylen gives so much card advantage upon playtesting my own I found that additional card draw almost isnt worth it in favour of just more gas and protection. you just tap all you untapped tokens before your untap step and draw cards. I would include atleast one of the overrun cards becuase without them parity breaking can be kind of rough.
For sure! I added them just in case because I tend to play in interaction-heavy metas and there comes a time where Baylen rarely sticks around in grindier games. So redundancy was a good thing to have when testing.
Not sure about all this good stuff.. I feel what is overlooked here is that you can tap instantly and if you have something like seedborn muse you can tap each turn
@TheCommanderTavern he's really fun. You can build him landfall style with a lot of top deck manipulation, but if you put azusa, lost but seeking. oracle of mul daya and courser of kruphix it can get crazy then if you can fund ways to exile cards and cast them or play cards from graveyard it gets around discarding
Other cards to consider

Nice! Yeah, you can definitely go the combo route with Baylen.
Im excited to build this bro and your videos always make me hype to brainstorm the decks im working on.
Awesome! So glad I was able to be helpful! Means a lot! :')

Yeah, there're so many different ways to play this commander that I wanted to try something different.
@@TheCommanderTavern I’m with you there. I prefer open-ended commanders myself. This definitely looks like a boatload of fun.

Interesting! I didn't expect Baylen to have cEDH potential.
@@TheCommanderTavernit is definitely a competitive commander. It's card advantage and mana acceleration in the command zone.
@1859ddd I don't think you need card draw tools, because the commander represents card advantage and mana ramp in the command zone.

Ooh! Seedborn Muse is great here! (As it is in most decks, lol)
Flubs when?
lol, Flubs is a hilarious card. I'd have to see if I can even wrap my brain around how to break it.
