- While I could've gone the purely assassin route, I decided to also focus heavily on historic synergies. How would you build 5C Ezio?

Thraximundar finally has a home! Been wanting to play and build a deck around them but didn't notice they were also an Assassin! Love the ring goes south, have one in my collection going to put in my BANT legendary deck. Surprised you aren't running Urza's ruinous blast or War of the Last Alliance. What a cool deck!!!

I considered Urza's Ruinous Blast but down to the wire, you can only run 100 cards in your deck :P

I don't have any intention of building this deck, but I think it would be fun to do a "mono black" build, where all of your mana and spells are black, and then you include a bunch of assassins across all the colors and the only way to cast them is with free running. It would be terrible but also seems fun to me
lol, that sounds janky as hell and super fun, too. Definitely amps up the difficulty factor as well.
With thraximundar there is a nice synergy with vihaan goldwaker you have a bunch of treasure tokens go to combat they become assassin creatures swing with trax then sac those treasure assassins to pump him up before damage

I don't know if I'll make a full deck tech for it yet but my ideas are in one of my shorts if you wanna check that out in the mean time :)
