I'm thinking Izzet group slug with Spellshock, Manabarbs, and many others!
Edit: With the right land count, Seismic Assault would be sweet too!
My original build was precisely that - groupslug. However, when thinking about how to combo with the parun, my lightbulb moment shone with Dragon's Approach, so I ditched that and jumped right into the approach the parun route. But I'm definitely going to develop the groupslug one eventually.
I'm stuck between the 2 ideas.
I have build a similar concept in mind but instead of running dragon's approaches, I'm running a lot of pingers like electrostatic field and guttersnipe paired with numerous instant speed cantrips and draw effects
That was one of the first thoughts that came to my mind (groupslug and global pain effects). However, once I contemplated which spells to include, I remembered Dragon's Approach and was instantly inspired. I might eventually build that version and release the list on Patreon. But yeah, the groupslug and pingers is another great way to build this one!
I feel this deck is SO easy 2 build it's wasted as a deck tech.
Still loved it tho
lol yeah, I would've left it as just a Short but then people would've been like "Is that it?" "How do you protect it?" "What if X or Y?" So I figured I might as well have made the longform version XD
@@TheCommanderTavern ahh good point. Well can't wait for next vid!!
It looks good for pickup games but any play group sees this once or twice and ur shut down the rest of the time.
Yeah, it's definitely one of those "build once and destroy" type of decks.
@@TheCommanderTavern Ya I think its in that weird category of decks that can't quite hack in in tournament play but too strong for casual! Cool build thought I like the way you did it!
@@aiclassroom-yx2bq Thanks! Glad you liked it!
