Before the video starts, just seeing Ghen brings back a memory I have had squirreled away in which I had the following board state:
Price of Progress, Smothering Tithe & Magus of the Wheel. (I had other stuff but these are the key players.)
So, knowing that none of my opponents will be paying the 1 mana for my Smothering Tithe due to Price of Progress making them sacrifice the land as well. When I wheeled & each opponent drew 7 fresh cards & it left me with a brand new grip of cards & twenty-one treasure tokens... I felt bliss.

Wheeling while controlling Smothering Tithe is always a straightup blissful experience. Purest dopamine.

@TheCommanderTavern Haha, great timing. I just got home from my LGS' EDH night & played against one of the most unique EDH builds I have seen, I was going to comment on a video & let you know so you may get the spark to brew something similar. Anyways, it was an Orzhov deck & from what I could gather, his theme was "hand-size matters" which punished people for having like 4+ cards in their hand. The commander was from the Warhammer 40K products & I can honestly tell you, I have never even seen it before & even thought it was fan made at first lol. The name of the card is "Neyam Shai Murad" anyways, to cut this short, he used enchantments & artifacts that caused people to take damage or lose life if they had more than 4 cards in hand & with that, he had enchantments which only allowed for one spell to be cast each turn & had effects like his commander has, which adds cards into other player's hands. It was a very interesting but political in a weird way. Especially his commander which allows an opponent to put a permanent they own in their graveyard into their hand but allows the same player to choose a permanent in your graveyard & it gets put onto the battlefield.

Ooh!!! That's a super interesting take on stax! Granted, a lot of people hate playing against stax but this seems unique and somewhat out-of-the-box. Love it! Kudos to that brewer!

I feel like Marina Vendrell is the answer to a lot of these answer decks, and a large part of that is just having all the colors in the identity. Having green and blue in the identity gives so much potential for Constellation Triggers, Draw, or Midrange Value pieces. Most Enchantment Discounts also use a combination of blue or green. If you run sac triggers, you can finish with Dance of the Manse to recur a massive late game board. I prefer 5 colors for this reason, since a good stuff build just steamlines the efficiency at the cost of more expensive land bases.

Why not just run go Shintai for an easier to cast 5 color commander?
I feel like the idea behind running this instead of a 5 color commander is because it forces it to be less of a “good stuff “ pile and forces some constraints on the deck, which causes some interesting choices to be made

@patches.742 you could probably run Go Shintai, but I personally like the Card Advantage and Marina as a theme in general. Go Shintai is good for recursion, but most Enchantments stick around if they aren't creatures. Building up Dance of the Manse is also more fun if it goes late game, and Enchantment creature midrange is centered around white, blue, and green, so sacrifice and graveyard synergies are secondary, if at all.

Very true, but I already built an enchantment reanimator deck with Go Shintai :P

Marina Vendrell is definitely a great 5C commander for enchantments matter - I already built her :P
That's why I wanted a diet version with Ghen.

I absolutely love the deck tech and how you’re giving love to a “older commander” but I’ve noticed of sorts a big flaw. There isn’t much to get an enchantment into the graveyard early and if your opponents have a way to get rid of ghen on demonic pact type effects you’re kinda screwed. I’ll probably add cards with bargain, sacrifice a permanent, or rummage like effects to make it faster and more resilient

      Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Yeah, those are great ideas! Just make sure you run the best kind of them so that they're also useful for when you don't have enchantments you want sacrificed. Also, I forgot to put the surveil lands in the deck, which is another way to help get enchantments in the graveyard without sacrificing any slots in the deck.

What about Sting, the Glinting Dagger?

That's another good one! And it works automatically with its triggered effect.
