You’re correct of course, it starts with Vicarious(feeling someone’s death vicariously), too right in two(gods description of heaven on earth with angels and presumably demons), it’s a journey of mankind with steps in between of life.

I know Tool is an important band and I want to get into them, but you keep stopping the music to add your inane comments. Kind of ruins the whole thing.

You guys couldnt be more wrong. Sam offered "evidence" and Tim is showing why that "evidence" is irrational. He brought up meny logical fallacies and the problem of evil. He's not an ex Christian angry atheist. He's a very intelligent and philosophically savvy atheist who was never indoctrinated into religion as a child.

Everytime I hear a TOOL song, it is exactly like hearing that song again for the first time. There is so much more to each song than can be fully appreciated in one lifetime. The context and gravitas change with every mood ... with each phase in your life ... with every relationship. TOOL is always relevant.

Just found your channel with this reaction, loved the respect you guys gave the experience, we can never have a first experience again so bands like this gain a cult following as people live vicariously through you guys and your journey. I don’t know if any one will see this, but I’d love to recommend another band that is a very incredible experience. Would you be willing to react to a band called “Sleep Token?” All of their songs are react worthy, but if I could recommend a starting point I love to see the song “Ascensionism”. PS. They are fantastic lyricists, I would recommend having lyrics available. There’s a lot of built-in lore to their songs so don’t get caught up on lines until you decide that you’re ready to venture down the Sleep Token Rabit hole, thank you guys, I will keep an eye out on your channel!

Guys. I love when they do that. They feed you the pieces of the song bit by bit, and in a way that makes it hard to grasp the 2 or 3 rhythms you're trying to lock down. And then they just hand you the full gift of the ensemble. Wild.

What I love, despite why Maynard doesn’t write his amazing, poetic story until the other beautiful members of this band creates their individual masterpiece, is how it all comes together in perfect harmony.

Rage against the machine keeps the fire in the belly going in large or small matters 30 years on when it´s stuck in you. Not a violent thing, but for a just cause with thought and care for others.

Tool was signed with a predatory record label. They went through years of litigation, costing them millions of dollars. Fear Inoculum was their first record with their new record label.

Rage was one of my favorite bands when I was a teenager. There was nothing sounded like them back then. I’m from Germany and most people I know hearing RATM were white kids. That time I really realized that there are fucking racists with to much power. I ended up being a social worker in a children’s home. So I would say yes the anger back then has led me into a position now, where I can do something against racism in being a role model for the kids.

You should go back to their earlier albums a see how they progressed to where they are at now. From how they met , to Danny Carey's technique and the drum styles he studies, the guitarists other Job , and Maynard's weird genius in writing and singing , and I think it will help bring it all together. Good luck in getting tickets to any of their concerts!
