This is part one. I think it’ll be a new trilogy and I’m pretty sure he’s been contacted by Tech Nine and Eminem about this song. If there is a part two and three, with Em in it, people will lose their shit and Ronnie will finally get the recognition he deserves.
I am a 62yr old Aussie mum, who has never been into rap, but this song is fricking amazing!! A song with no chorus!! This was my intro to Falling in Reverse a couple of months ago and I’ve now gone down the rabbit hole of their songs. I’ve always been a rock chick, grew up seeing AC/DC live so many times as a teenager in the mid 70’s with the great late Bon Scott, loved Sabbath, Floyd and Zeppelin with some Rammstein thrown in later thanks to my son. Ronnie (I say his name like we’re best mates now) has just blown my older and probably shrinking brain with this masterpiece. He is a musical genius! Can’t wait for more.
This makes my 33 year old metal head heart soooooo happy. Ronnie has brought people from multiple genres of music together and people of all ages. My grandmother is in her early 70s and I can't wait to blow her mind with FIR (luckily she's always been open minded on my music)...much love!
I’ve been a fan of Ronnie’s since I first heard him sing way back in 2005 or so when he was with “Escape the Fate”. Ronnie has overcome so much in his life from homelessness and drugs addiction to prison. Ronnie has been through many of the same things I went through as a young adult. Now I’m in my 30’s and happily recovered and it’s amazing to see that Ronnie has not only survived but has grown to epic heights after surviving addiction. ❤
Appreciate that AgirlnamedMichael! We genuinely enjoy passionate and skillful music. We both have musical backgrounds, but don't claim to be masters. But I thoroughly enjoy your feedback!!! -De
@@De.Dre.Universeno one gets the plane thing though, right? He says he will brandish a weapon to show all you motherfuckers a lesson. He triggers the bomb, so people think the bomb was the weapon. Then he jumps out of the plane. He is the bomb. He’s the weapon. He makes the world burn, not the bomb.
@De & Dre Reacts I love seeing someone hear this band's songs for the first time each one is different and amazing. Y'all should jump right into this rabbit hole. A few suggestions. The Drug In Me Is You Reimagined, I'm Not A Vampire, Zombified, Voices In My Head, and the trilogy Losing My Mind, Drugs, and Losing My Life. Y'all won't be disappointed Ronnie's the one who gets alot of the credit because he does alot its mostly his vision and he partakes in all aspects heavily but his band is extremely talented as well. Just thought I'd suggest those have a wonderful day. God Bless 🇺🇲
the name Falling in Reverse is a metaphor for picking yourself up after falling and hitting rock bottom. btw, great video! the fact you pointed out how speechless you both were was hilarious.
Y’all are seriously some of my favorite reactors. Your rapport with each other and whatever you’re watching is always interesting and funny. Ronnie’s on a whole other planet. I think his art is a wonderful example of an artist knowing themselves well enough to discern what parts of them are naturally dark and destructive, and what parts are just reactionary. Art that’s made with that perspective just hits differently…That’s why so many people LOVE metal and other aggressive kinds of music. Whatever the emotion being conveyed/felt is, it’s like turning the amp up to 11 and snapping the knob off. It’s overpowering and cathartic as fuck. Keep doing your thing! Cheers
The drastic cut off leads us to think that the next song will be a straight continuation from this. For me, I predict that the next song is waking up from this nightmare of him turning into an actual super villain like everyone portrays him to be. I think he'll give us a deep ballad type song that showcases his vocal range, with lyrics and visuals that show who he really is, which is a person who was maybe evil in the past, but has turned his life around and isn't that person anymore. So many people use his past against him and talk shit, but he's not that same stupid kid whose choices landed him in prison. He has changed. If you want to check out his vocal range and creative genius, watch the remakes. They took their own 10 year old emo style songs and flipped them into masterpieces. A lot of reactors watch both videos in one reaction because it really does give you context when you compare the two. The first is The Drug in Me is You, followed by the "Reimagined" version. The second is I'm Not A Vampire, followed by the "Revamped" version. Great reaction, and I love the commentary!
For me i just think the world burned out very fast and there is nothing left behind so the cut is like the earth got erased instantly.Just my thought but i like your idea
I like this idea, although the lyrics of the last couple lines are actually pretty uplifting, despite the harsh growls. "The fear is what keeps you alive, break the fucking chains, take back your life." and "The fear is what keeps you insane, break the fucking chains, take away the pain." Neither of these sound villainous to me personally. That said, I'd totally be down for a ballad of sorts immediately following this song. I know Ronnie's capable.
I love watching people who don’t know his full potential react. The speechlessness and just putting it all together is so spot on. Ronnie had grown into a genius in this industry. He can even slow shit down and play piano and sing in harmonic tones as all! You guys definitely showcased how anyone should react not knowing what to expect! Much love guys.
I love when people get the artistry here. A lot of people hate the switch up but it fucking fits so perfectly because of the key switch from the last chopper flow into the operatic section. That key change allowed the transition into the rock, and then the bridge opened up for the build into the breakdown. This is fucking hard to do and do well. Not just anybody can pull this shit off with multiple subgenres within 2 separate genres in one song. It's absolute insanity.
This was probably the best breakdown of the video i have seen so far, props to both De and Dre and everybody in the studio that know what they are talking about. Real recognize Real
I am so glad Ronnie is getting the recognition that he truly deserves! He is a genius. Ridiculous talent! He deserves every bit of recognition that he has coming to him! Huge fan since my son introduced me around 2015!
Ronnie is literally making movie trilogies with music and its amazing. I would not be surprised if his next song is a complete 180 from this just to show how talented he is and I'm all for it.
This song makes me think of the quote from The Dark Knight “You Either Die A Hero, Or You Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become The Villain” - Harvey Dent
"I dunno whats goin on but i wanna go see his movie" this felt relatable and funny haha. And I think he'd be kind of an anti-hero more than a hero since he delivers truth in the form it takes, doesnt try to sugar coat it and it will be as hard, dangerous and violent as it has to be, and down to those that are aimed and fire
I'm jellous of you!! I wanna see them so bad! Unfortunately I'm Australian so they not coming here anytime soon far as i know. Was ronnie as fast live with the raps?
This isn't a song, this is an experience. Loved this reaction! And yes, The Boys is a sick show and also the first thing I thought of when the video got to that part. The amount of layers and how they all work together perfectly is just out of this world. Instant fan
I've seen tons of reaction vids to this great song and this was the best and most insightful imo. Two different interpretations and/or insights but in a very good way. The contrast of these 2 is perfect.
Im late as hell but i just discovered your channel and i love the fact it feels like we are standing around the kitchen counter checking out new music. Love the vibe of this channel guys!
The best way to describe this song and the style is Art. Pure 100% Art. We are talking about a man who is ahead of his time in musicality. I normally am not into this type of music (apart from the odd band), but this is epic, and I am an absolute fan of this. Ronnie is beyond talented.
I love falling in reverse so much because they've given me a fully new take on rap, my home base, metal, and even country. He mixes any genre seamlessly. Pure genius. And out of his wheelhouse (Country for crying out loud) he still managed to make an incredible son, with a spectacular video (not this level) and another AAA star backing him up. Music is the universal language, and he is the master.
Just discovered this channel, currently binge watching to catch up because I love it. I don't ever comment suggestions for reactions, but I think I thought of a perfect one for you guys. It's Wolf Totem by The Hu. It's a Mongolian metal band that uses native instruments. The music makes you feel exactly what the lyrics mean even though it's in a different language. You can look up a translation for it and see what I mean. The musicians are also basically a super group in Mongolia, one of them got a national award for being the best musician in the country a few years back. Trust me, you'll be blown away.
Ronnie is completely the real deal, whole package!! I just finished his autobiographical book recently and it explains why he is how he is so well! All these rap styles and NO hook or chorus!!!!
The apple pie with ice cream metaphor was GENIUS. You guys are instantly my favourite reaction channel ever - great knowledge and appreciation of music, mad funny and addictive chemistry between you both.
You guys totally get it. That makes it even more entertaining to watch you react to it. I like the idea on one video for the Trilogy. Not sure if I've watched anyone do all three in one video. Looking forward to it.
Honestly makes it better and more unique. Chorus' are nice and catchy but take up a lot of the song and usually repeats once or twice. Much easier to put out songs with Chorus. So props to them.
Y'alls reaction around 12:00 onward was really good. One of the things I really love about listening to Ronnie is that he OWNS each genre that he presents. Great reaction!
Might be my new favorite react channel. Love that you guys appreciate all aspects of music and each genre he hits. Also, I’ve seen him live a couple times and the energy hits so hard. Ronnie’s got it all
Great breakdown, you just picked up a new sub,, I love having people who understand music at a higher level and can point out things I never really even noticed… good stuff gentleman
Just subbed after watching this reaction. Don’t know how long you’ve had your channel but you guys are going to do very well. Production is A+ and you both are very likable and makes you feel like I’m right there in the room with you. Can’t wait to binge your channel.
Damn, really like how you guys can actually break everything down, and yall were the first reactors I've seen that actually caught that Ronnie was Falling in Reverse" after jumping out of the plane! I was lowkey gettin mad at some of the more technical reactors not catching that xD
Also as far as your folk comment about him they have a song called "Drifter" that I wouldnt call it necessarily folk music, but it has a pretty folky feel to it.
Found you guys on a binge night of watching these reactions and liked yalls the most so I just subbed! Loved the reaction and wanted to say that is a dam nice beard my man!
Just discovered the channel, and watched the two videos of Falling In Reverse...I've got to say: amazing reatcs!! All the insights, the truly appreciation for the art! And, I would love to see you guys reacting to Voices In My Head and Zombified!!
...it's deep...it's truth...well done Rachel! And yes, we are DSGB (down south georgia boys) but we live in florida now lol. Appreciate the love ❤️ -De
I watch a bit of reactions now and then, and as an older guy(50+), I expect what I feel as rehearsed emotion. What has captured me in the first three minutes is something that has you as different. Actual analysis based on observation and true notation of events in the song/video. I'm impressed. You have a sub. You are only my second. :)
The first time I heard the song, I knew I had to look for rappers reacting to this. Because let's be honest, when it comes to the rock/metal scene, he's already recognized as a beast of a vocalist. Dude traversed genres here and in their other songs like Popular Monster. This reaction and the information that you gave in this is the best one I've seen, and hearing you guys at 16:59 say screaming takes talent makes me happy (and others, too, for sure). You guys are a blessing
You two definitely need to check out more of Falling In Reverse! The Triology videos, Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, Drugs all in one reaction, and the original The Drug In Me Is You and The Drug In Me Is Reimagined. I'm Not A Vampire and I'm Not A Vampire Revamped! You'll see his growth over all of the years and his range of music and genres, his voice and all more! Also Voices In My Head and Zombifed! They are a couple newer ones! Ronnie is the man and NEVER fails to impress! He's versatile as hell!
I have to agree with the Freddy Mercury comment you made. The way the music in this song flows it almost sounds like the same recipe as Bohemian Rhapsody with a sort of long intro, opera singing and ending with rock.
damn, ive watched a ton of reaction videos and 3:00 mins in you pulling a graphic explaining an expected beat drop and the actual beat drop, is great content for teaching.... this is some high quality breakdown. good work guys. subscribed
He is the epitome of a true artist. Genre bending is his super power above just the talent. He puts so much passion and effort into being a master of his craft. The videos are also very important to him in portraying the emotions and lyrics in each song. I love how you brought up Freddy! That was a though of mine also because he can't be put into a single genre, he switches in and out so seamlessly and with utter passion for the work! Keep it going guys! Great reaction. I'm about to check more of your reviews now, but if you have not done last resort yet, that one sends chills down my spine every time I hear it
The band at the moment consists of Ronnie Radke lead singer, Max Georgiev lead guitar, Christian Thompson rhythm guitar, Tyler Burgess bass guitar and Luke Holland drums. They are amazing live so is this song it's awesome
I really like your thoughts about the song. Ronnie has always been saying that he's a rapper. I'm glad, people will stop questioning it now. I absolutely love this track. I'm looking forward to the trilogy. Greetings from Germany
Oh my gosh, i can't believe i just came across your reaction to this....subscribing simply because of this. FIR is so amazing... lyrics, passion, production, sound.... everything. Thanks for this!
These guys toured with Avenged Sevenfold and they blew the concert out of the water, Ronnie Radke sounds exactly like this live. He hits every genre perfectly. It was insane and left me speachless. Avenged didnt perform in Chula Vista but it was worth it to just see Falling in Reverse. Pure insanity with this band!!!!
Y’all, I just found your channel. I watch a lot of reactions to music that is Lyrically ARTISTIC. I like to see other people appreciate something the way I do. Awesome.
The word is captivated. Noone pauses through that rock part the first time watching because your mind just sits there trying to take it in, its hypnotizing, and it truly is a masterpiece. Nuf Said..
I just stumbled across this and you guys are freaking fantastic. Awesome reaction ..that apple pie thou ...spot on. Processing is exactly how I felt lol 😂
, This is prob one of the few reactions i've seen on FIR that had a real impactfull philosphical break down of their interpretation of the song. Would love to see you guys break down all the greatest modern hits from FIR. Drug in me is reimagined, voices in my head, zombified. The opening line " i've got voices in my head again directly correlates and is reffering the the song "voices in my head" which talks about his battle with hypercrondria
Hey chris C. De here...the stunned and silent guy with the beard at the end of the video...This one was fun and full of energy and surprises. The only thing that didn't take me by storm was the barbaric killing lol. Thanks for supporting chris C -De
Can't wait to see yall do the trilogy... Also check out In not a vampire and I'm not a vampire revamped and The drug in me is you and The drug in me is reimagined. They are 10 years apart. Both are hauntingly beautiful and amazing
I just love new and different reactions to one of my favorite bands of all time, I think you would love "I'm not a Vampire" revamped, if you haven't seen it yet,
Haha this reaction video is amazing. The captions killed me ‘literally speechless’ …..’processing……’ haha. Too good. Your input on parts really enhanced the watch along too. Great
First time watching you guys react. Love it. Great the way you guys bounce topics off of each other and love that you feel it. I wasn't even a fan of falling in reverse, but you pointed out somethings I didn't consider.
The Boys is awesome and you are the first to mention the show.. when I first saw the video I immediately thought of Homelander! FIR is ART! When people ask why I love them, I honestly can't explain.
Yall, thanks for a great reaction. The last portion of the video reminds me of the mutant movie when the Jean Grey character turns into Phoenix, rises up with her hair and cape flying about and starts killing everything in sight.
If this song had gone for another minute he probably would have switched into a country style just to prove he can do every genre!
Facts
And we all would've been open to it
"we get it Ronnie, u can music" it is ronnie fucking radkie
Drifter is sort of a country song
That would have been epic 😎
Freddy Mercury and Em are Ronnie's favorite artists. He will appreciate the compliment
Wow! Had no idea. After saying that you can definitely tell he was inspired by them. He has flashes of both, but does what he does so well and really makes it his own. Thanks for checking us out and leaving your comment

Great video! It was amazing meeting you tonight can’t wait for the falling in reverse trilogy to drop!!!
Found you guys on a binge night of watching these reactions and liked yalls the most so I just subbed! Loved the reaction and wanted to say that is a dam nice beard my man!
I like how the sound of the airplane exploding is part of the beats. Very cleaver! I really enjoy you’re reactions, keep them coming.
Just discovered the channel, and watched the two videos of Falling In Reverse...I've got to say: amazing reatcs!! All the insights, the truly appreciation for the art! And, I would love to see you guys reacting to Voices In My Head and Zombified!!
Good ole Georgia boys. Congrats on that championship btw lol I love this song, it's deep, it's full of different music genres, it's truth.
...it's deep...it's truth...well done Rachel! And yes, we are DSGB (down south georgia boys) but we live in florida now lol. Appreciate the love ❤️

I was excited for this reaction from you guys- Love the conversation. This song/ video is a Masterpiece in my opinion!!
Falling In Reverse: "The bridge between Rap and Metal."
I will say Linkin Park definitely did that, too
@@andreamajchrzak3475 yup both were the best at what they did. May Chester Bennington rest in peace.
Wow. Thanks for the sub and kind words. -Dre
Just watched theses dudes for the first time but for real, the play by play had me hahaha
I think you guys are up there with my favorite reactors. I'm not sure what it is but you guys have it.
He’s done it all. He’s has an awesome discography
Great review and love the cup "G"
I have to agree with the Freddy Mercury comment you made. The way the music in this song flows it almost sounds like the same recipe as Bohemian Rhapsody with a sort of long intro, opera singing and ending with rock.
I really appreciate that you guys followed through the transition and were in step. Love from Maryland !!!!
damn, ive watched a ton of reaction videos and 3:00 mins in you pulling a graphic explaining an expected beat drop and the actual beat drop, is great content for teaching.... this is some high quality breakdown. good work guys.
I really like y'all's production. I wish the best in the future for you guys.
Thankyou for being the first to say it... Freddie Mercury 2.0 is what I was thinking too 💯 lil bit obsessed with FIR right now😅
Oh my gosh, i can't believe i just came across your reaction to this....subscribing simply because of this. FIR is so amazing... lyrics, passion, production, sound.... everything. Thanks for this!
I can’t wait for Ronnie to get back on Twitch. He’s going to enjoy this reaction 😂
This was an amazing reaction. You guys were on one for this.
Love your interpretation and explanation. Instant like and subscribe, keep it up guys!
Nuf Said..
Bro whoever edited this video is why i subscribed , the little edits was hilarious
I just stumbled across this and you guys are freaking fantastic. Awesome reaction ..that apple pie thou ...spot on. Processing is exactly how I felt lol 😂
he sang and rapped in every style in one song and nailed it...wow.
, This is prob one of the few reactions i've seen on FIR that had a real impactfull philosphical break down of their interpretation of the song. Would love to see you guys break down all the greatest modern hits from FIR.
Drug in me is reimagined, voices in my head, zombified. The opening line " i've got voices in my head again directly correlates and is reffering the the song "voices in my head" which talks about his battle with hypercrondria
Your face at the end classic! The guy is a huge talent…. He’s made me excited about music again! Killer review!
Hey chris C. De here...the stunned and silent guy with the beard at the end of the video...This one was fun and full of energy and surprises. The only thing that didn't take me by storm was the barbaric killing lol. Thanks for supporting chris C
-De
@@De.Dre.Universe haha fair enough. No worse than a horror flick on at the cinema or Netflix…. But I hear ya! You should check out “voices in my head”
Freddie Mercury! Yes! The first thing I said after I heard this song was “dude he’s the modern day Queen”
Great reaction! He really does give a masterclass on different genres
LMAO your "literally speechless" is such a mood. I'll sub to that 😂
His distraction at the end lmao I was rolling. No you can't end a song like that, 😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😂🤣 welcome the abrupt stop train .
Can't wait to see yall do the trilogy... Also check out In not a vampire and I'm not a vampire revamped and The drug in me is you and The drug in me is reimagined. They are 10 years apart. Both are hauntingly beautiful and amazing
The greatest compliment you can give Ronnie and Falling in Reverse is literally being speechless
Great
Much respect to u both . Gentlemen, u did a fantastic job
First time watching you guys react. Love it. Great the way you guys bounce topics off of each other and love that you feel it. I wasn't even a fan of falling in reverse, but you pointed out somethings I didn't consider.
This song should literally clean up in all awards.. and I mean rap, rock song and video of the year . It's a fucking masterpiece.
Wow, i havent stopped by in a minute. You guy's production took a leap forward. Good for you!
