This is an original song written by the famous Igor Krutoy at the piano and lyrics by an American lyricist Sharon Vaughn. In the future, when you see Mr. Krutoy at the piano, it means that Dimash is singing an original song by Mr. Krutoy or he is covering a song of his from a couple of decades or so ago.

You have to see Dimash's MV The Story of One Sky, he spent 3 years of his life making it. He composed the music, wrote the screenplay, sang every note and acts the main character.

Dimash, Igor Krutoy (Conductor and composer), Yerlan “Erlan” Bekchurin (arranger) and Olzhas Qurmanbeck (Master in playing the Qoobyz or “Kobyz”, which is a two-stringed, bipolyphonic instrument of Turkish-Kazakh origin, very sacred in Kazakhstan): The Magnificent Four! We also have lyrics by Sharon Vaughn (USA) and arrangements by Dimitri Kontopoulos (Greece) and Yerlan Bekchurin (Kazakhstan)!
The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. Yes, Dimash's voice is maturing and he has been developing his lower range more. This is a brand new song, written especially for the voice of Dimash, by the famous Russian Composer; Igor Krutoy, whom you see there on the piano. A lot of people have commented it has the potential to become a movie theme song and maybe it will some day!

Thank you for your genuine appreciation of Dimash’s insane talent! He’s not only an exceptional vocalist, but also an accomplished musician and an amazing performer.
It was Dimash’s idea to incorporate the beautiful and haunting sound of the Qobyz, the traditional Kazakh string instrument: what a brilliant addition to the composition! It gives much more depth to the meaning of the song I think.
Also, listening to Stranger is in and of itself a musical journey where we’re accompanying Dimash through this “stranger’s land” with each and every vocal technique and singing style which denotes a different culture and path in life.
Dimash does not use his vocal abilities to show off, but to serve the song: through his voice, he’s telling us a story; like in his latest masterpiece that he composed himself, “The Story of One Sky” (we are divided into different countries, races and faiths, but we all share the same sky: this song is a cry for peace and unity).
By the way, STRANGER is his original song, composed by Igor Krutoy specifically for Dimash. Whenever you see Igor Krutoy accompanying him on the piano during a live performance, like in this video, it means that he composed the song for Dimash. Igor Krutoy is a famous Ukrainian- Russian composer who has been collaborating with Dimash for some time now. Passione and Ave Maria, including Stranger, for instance are all Dimash’s originals composed by Krutoy.

As others have said this is an original song and this was its first performance. So now you have never heard it before anywhere. It was written specifically for this. New wave is an international singing competition started by Igor Krutoy back in 2013 I believe.
Dimash won this competition in 2019 however he is not a competitor here. He was there as a judge for the competition and a performer. He actually performed three new songs at this event.
😉🤭 oops, Dimash has always been invited as a guest performer at the New Wave International competition for young pop singers. Igor Krutoy first invited Dimash in 2018 when he sang Sinful Passion, then in 2019 where he sang Know, The Love of Tired Swans, Olimpico, Passione and here in 2021 as a judge and guest performer where he premiered three new songs, Stranger, Fly Away and his new Ave Maria. You might be thinking of the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus where he won the grand prize in 2015. First Kazakh to win this International competition. ☺️

I have been waiting for the longest time for the two of you to return to Dimash. I love your comments and reactions to this amazing singer. No, this is one of Dimashs' live concerts. The gentleman on the piano is Igor Krutoy, a billionaire composer who came out of retirement to compose music for Dimash, such as Ave Maria, Your Love ( lyrics by Lara Fabian) Oplympico, and others. I hope you check out "Ikanaide", which had to be live-streamed because of Covid travel restrictions for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. Also, Love Is Like A Dream and Love of Tired Swans. So glad to see you two reacting to Dimash again. Thank you so very much. Dimash has been called an alien by so many folks. He began his music studies at the age of five and had perfect pitch then. He continued to study music and now has his Ph.D. in music composition and still does vocal training for 3-5 a day every day. During an interview, he stated that if his heart was cut open you would see music and that since he was two or three, he has never wanted to do anything but sing.

I was at the Dubai concert. I’m from the U.K. the lady in front of me came from Australia just to see the concert. She paid for a man to accompany her, to record everything for her, so she could watch the show as it happened. We had paid over £200 for each ticket but she obviously thought it was worth paying for the second ticket too. It was a great concert.

I've watched Dimash for several years now and there's not a singer in the world that could ever come close to sing in his range, with his musical talent. He can do things with his voice that put him in a category that no one can ever reach. Igor is not just an amazing pianist but an amazing producer/composer. Dimas has an outstanding production crew that puts his performances together with astounding lighting and special effects. His performances are always first class. You will never tire of hearing and watching him. Dimas has worked and studied many hrs daily since he was a young boy. He will always keep us captivated with his singing. At the beginning of this video, you stated that it had been a while since your last reaction video of Dimash. Now, its' been a long time again. I can watch a Dimash video any time I want, but, it is not the same as watching your reactions and listening to your comments. Plus, you have missed so much more Dimash music that I am sure would amaze you all over again. Songs like Adagio, Ikanaide, Your Love, Olympico, Love Is Like A Dream, Hello ( yes, Lionel Ritchie's song), and from his performance on The Singer 2017, All By Myself, and Unforgettable Day. I hope the two of you will respond to this comment and continue with Dimash again. There is one more, "Omir" (Life), a song he wrote and dedicated to his fans, his "Dears." It is simply beautiful.

I enjoy both of you & found you from Dimash. Im an Eskimo elder, really old, but millennia ago my people came across from Siberia & i consider him a shaman, a good person but that's why all have chills, almost trancelike. His songs are all well intentioned. I found his videos this year as i was really ill & in & out of hospitals. I went thru surgeries with his songs in my head as i thought thats what heaven sounds like.
p.s. liked subscribed and belled, and thank you I SO agree about phones. My biggest dream in life is to see and hear Dimash live. If that happens I want to see him real, live and in the flesh and to hear him live in the same space I occupy fully and completely; I would be so transfixed so mesmerized that I could not look away....and WHY when you are in the same physical location, when he is living and breathing and singing right in front of you, when you have no choice, you HAVE to watch him on a device at home, why would you pay big money and go to a live event to watch him on a device there? So ODD!!! So nice to hear people who are awake, alert and alive who really get the real value of this miracle of life which is to be fully present and engaged IN THE MOMENT, IN THE HERE AND NOW!! 🙌 yes! I think he is from at least 4th density (not dimension), we may live in 3rd density and I've read the idea, the possibility that beings from 4th and 5th density travel back to inspire, elevate and bring hope and love back to our level.....maybe?!?!

Franky, I don’t see anyone else who could perform this piece in such a way” The gentleman playing the Kobyz is master Olzhas Qurmanbeck, the best player in Kazakhstan 🎻🔝 The Kobyz is the first stringed instrument ever. Kobyz is an ancient tool of the Kazakh people. It was used in ancient times by steppe shamans-healers for various rites. Kobyzy is made from a single piece of wood. This is one of the oldest ways of making musical instruments in the history of mankind. It is not due to technical backwardness or the lack of metal devices.
