Each recipe is tried and tested and the shopping list will be in the recipe description for you to copy and download.

Homemade Hummus with Flatbread and Zhoug Blender
This delicious Homemade Hummus Made in a Blender is a Middle Eastern dip or spread made from a blend of chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil and garlic. It's traditionally served as a starter or Mezze and shared with flatbread, spicy Zhoug, falafel, kofta, or shawarma
Not only is homemade humus healthy but it also delivers a flavour that is head and shoulders above store ball for us is, and the best part is it requires hardly any effort at all
Shopping List - Makes 10
Hummus -
300gm dehydrated chick peas
2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
70gm tahini
Juice of 1 lemon
2 cloves garlic
30ml olive oil
Flatbread -
550gm self raising flour
500gm thick greek yoghurt
3 teaspoons baking powder
Spicy Zhoug -
100gm red/green chillies
50gm picked parsley
50gm picked coriander
2 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons ground cumin
juice of 2 lemons
100ml olive oil

Love it, but dont you think, that all the ingredienrs, added to the liver, will brake the flavor of the liver? Port and cognac together, garlic and onions, thyme....

Thank you for the recipe and tutorial. Could you clarify the difference between the cheese amounts in the recipe vs the video? Is it 250g total, 150g of which is added to the bechamel with 100g reserved for final topping?
Yes that is correct, this recipe will make approx 4 so 25g each

The loaf tin in the video has 1/2 lb on it, I filled it with water which was 380ml, serves 4-6, hope that helps

Hello i made this and let it cool completely but it split when i rolled it up, would it not be better the roll when it is still slightly warm? I baked it for 17 mins and would suggest it needs no more than 15/16. Was very tasty anyway so thanks for this video
Try covering it with a damp cloth whilst it is still warm, when cooled peel the damp cloth and it will roll perfectly

A teaspoon is 5 gm and tablespoon is 15gm of that helps 😊

Approx 35g each egg, so 4 is 140g, hope that helps

I found Richard’s kitchen recipes when surfing to find Pear and Apple Chutney recipe. Then I checked other recipes too. Although this is a recently posted series of videos, this is the best with clarity with the ingredient list. I will comment again after making this. After a while this is going to be well known. 👏🏼👌🏼

Hello and thanks for the feedback, apples are ok with this recipe but be careful which apples you use, a nice crisp eating apple is best like Granny Smith or Pink Lady, cooking apples like Bramley break down and you end up with a purée rather than a chutney. As a side note I served this chutney with a stuffed belly of pork last week and it was amazing 😊😃👍

Is double cream the same as whipping cream? 35%?
No double cream is around 48% fat, you need that much fat content, by adding the lemon juice to the cream, the lemon juice acidifies the cream, causing it to thicken.

How long does it keep I the fridge?
Chutney has at least a year's shelf life, as long as it's stored in a cool dark place. Some chutneys might even last up to two years. When opened, tightly covered and stored in the fridge, chutney should last at least a month.
