What I really would like to know about Diane further is she considered "The Bad Seed" ? In the late 1950's, the movie " The Bad Seed" starring Patty McCormick as a murderous 8 year old child. The debate in the movie was about wether a child is born evil or it developed over time. True crime book writer "Ann Rule" didn't believe in such a possibility and I wonder why she thought that. Serial killer Ted Bundy as a 2 or 3 year old child had placed various knives around a aunt's (?) pillow while she was sleeping !!! I clearly would have removed Ted from the home and I feel that he was seriously disturbed but had not yet become evil. In Diane's case if she wasn't abused either physically, mentally, or sexually by her father, then how did Diane become a cold and calculated murderer and attempted murderer ?? I have another question and that is: could Diane been helped psychologically before her unbridled rage towards her children ? What about the diagnosis of: Borderline Personality Disorder for Diane ? Actress Farrah Fawcett did an excellent job of portraying Diane Downs and I'm glad the movie was made.

I lived in those apartments but moved several months before the murders. There were very few young single black guys that lived there or in that neighborhood. There's a lot now. I can't believe he was not a suspect right from the start. I can't believe nobody ever asked me about it. I can't believe nobody heard any commotion or saw anything. They were somewhat cozy apartments, Quiet most of the time, a no nonsense manager. Also a maintenance man that was on the ball. I could hear neighbors in the adjoining apartments talking, having sex etc. I lived on the third floor and worked nights. On one of my off nights, at about 3 AM I stepped out on my balcony and saw a young black male trying to pry the screen off a woman's window on the first floor. I stepped back in and called the cops right away. Nothing came of it. I tried to warn her about it the next day but she just blew me off like I was trying to pick up on her. She still kept her window open for easy access after that. Another time I came home from work one day about 1030 AM, climbed up three floors of stairs, unlocked my door and went in my apartment closing the door behind me. Within five seconds of me being inside a young black male walked right in without knocking. I turned around and started toward him real quick and he apologized and said he had the wrong apartment. I have no idea where he came from. I never heard or saw anything coming up the stairs. It was eerily quiet.

This video came out 4 years ago and so, I take into consideration that your opinion may have changed or maybe not. I think that Chris Watts is a psychopath and here's why. This man knew where her juggular vein was and he knew where to apply pressure on that vein to cut off her air flow. He knew that by doing so, Shan'ann would not be able to fight back. How would he know how to do that if he didn't premeditate this crime? He's not in the medical profession so how would he know how to do this if he didn't take the time to research it beforehand? Shortly after the crime, he went to work as if nothing happened and his coworkers said that he acted normal. If an ordinary person had done this in the heat of the moment, how would that person be able to keep themselves composed enough to go to work immediately after they've done this horrific act without being nervous or upset? Another thing is that Chris Watts , unlike Shan'ann was a loner. He didn't like the spotlight. He didn't like being on Facebook live. He was not outgoing but instead, he was an introvert. While in the interrogation room at the police department, he sat there by himself and ate pizza with a picture of his baby girls sitting right in front of him. He was unmoved by the photo and ate the pizza as if nothing had happened. Even the female FBI agent pointed out that he did not shed one tear this whole time. He was completely disconnected from what had happened. This was his family who he did this to and he was completely unmoved and unemotional. Unlike narcissists, psychopaths do not need "human supply" and that seems to fit Chris Watt's personality. Chris Watts is also a chameleon. He can present himself as whomever he feels is acceptable to society whether that be "dad of the year" or in the present day a "changed man of God." He has no real idenity and had to live under some facade in order to fit into society. He has dangerous internal rage as the whole world saw after the truth of what he did was revealed. I come to my conclusion based on the facts that I've learned about Chris Watts. Obviously, he doesn't know how to emotionally connect with women on an intimate level as Shan'ann was his only girlfriend. In time, he grew to hate Shan'ann because she was everything that he wasn't and because her friends really loved her. She had strong bonds with both her family and friends. Chris just did whatever because he didn't have an independent thought or opinion. I believe that he chose Shan'ann because she had a type A strong personality. Shan'ann struck me as a person who liked everything neat, in control and uniform. I base that opinion on the way she kept her home. The house was extraordinary tidy with everything in its place. Almost like military style. As for Chris's relationship with NK, he enjoyed her because she satisfied his physical needs. There was no real connection with her. How could there be? Chris was exploring his sexual desires with her. She was just the human component he used to fulfill those desires. Had the sex not been fulfilling, Chris would've most likely abandoned his relationship with her. He felt the same lust for Nicole as he did for Shan'ann during the beginning stages of his and Shan'ann's relationship. He pursued Shan'ann hard in the beginning. This is just my personal opinon of why I believe that Chris Watts is definitely a psychopath. Any thoughts?

I think he shows more signs of antisocial personality disorder than narcissistic personality disorder. He did not seem particularly interested in fame or attention even after getting caught. He was fairly private about everything even in the 60 Minutes interview. A narcissist would jump at the opportunity to talk about themselves. He also didn’t really show any defensiveness or narcissistic rage when confronted. Yes he is egoistic but that’s a trait of ASPD as well.

The trip to NC was not because they were having trouble in their marriage. The trip had been planned before the affair. Shanann said in her texts, that they were all over each other before she left.
